Such applications can include, but are not limited to, access, display, and modification of patient medical records and sharing patient medical records among authorized HCPs.

Methods and systems for temperature screening using a mobile device

Methods and systems for temperature screening using a mobile device. In one example, a mobile temperature screening system may comprise a mobile device including a display, a memory, a processor, a thermal imaging camera, a visible light imaging camera, and a wireless communication capability. The processor may be configured to obtain a thermal image of a person and a visible light image of the person, determine a body temperature of the person based at least in part on the thermal image, and classify the person as having a normal body temperature when the body temperature of the person is below a threshold temperature. When the body temperature of the person exceeds the threshold temperature the processor may be configured to classify the person as having an elevated body temperature, generate a visual alert, and transmit the thermal image, the visible light image and the classification to a remote device.

A stimulation device includes a body containing at least one stimulation means adapted to be transcutaneously attached to the neck of a subject. The stimulation means is adapted to generate a stimulating signal during a stimulating state. The stimulation means is positioned to be in stimulating contact with the sternocleidomastoid muscle and the trunks of the lesser occipital nerve, greater auricular nerve, transverse cervical nerve or supraclavicular nerve with their autonomic fibers synchronously. The stimulation can be provided in the form an electrical, optical, vibrational, thermal, mechanical and/or magnetic stimulation. The stimulation device can be used bilaterally on the right and left sides of the subject's neck, working as a system in a synchronous or alternating manner.

Multimodal strain sensor and method

There is a viscoelastic strain sensor that includes a sensing layer including a viscoelastic material, the viscoelastic material including a viscoelastic hydrogel and a conductive nanofiller. The viscoelastic material has a fractional resistance change that increases with an increase of an applied tensile strain, and the viscoelastic material has a fractional resistance change that decreases with an applied compressional strain.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CROSS-LANGUAGE SPEECH IMPAIRMENT DETECTION

A system and method for detecting speech impairment employing a machine learning model extends the use of a model trained exclusively in a target language to classify input obtained from a speech sample in a source language different from the target language. Features extracted from a transcript of the speech sample in the source language are subject to a mapping to features in the target language, then provided as input to the model. The mapping is determined using a domain adaptation system implementing an algorithm such as an optimal transport algorithm trained using a healthy speech dataset to map probability distributions of the features from the source to the target language.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

An object of the present invention is to provide an information processing apparatus capable of more easily evaluating a depression state. The present invention is an information processing apparatus including: means for inputting voice data uttered by a subject; means for acquiring time-series data of sound pressure in the input voice data; and means for obtaining a Sound Pressure Change acceleration index that is an index based on a force toward a center and a force away from the center of the acquired time-series data of the sound pressure.

DYNAMIC NEUROPSYCHOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT TOOL
20230148945 · 2023-05-18 ·

A dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool according to an embodiment utilizes speech recognition, speech synthesis and machine learning to assess whether a patient is at risk for a neurological disorder, such as Alzheimer's disease. The dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool enables self-administration by a patient. The tool performs pre-test validation operations on the test environment, test equipment, and the patient's capability for performing the test at that time. The tool also enables dynamic modification of a questionnaire presented to the patient while the patient completes the questionnaire. Also provides the dynamic modification of which tests to present the patient with. The modification can be rule based or modified by a provider. The dynamic neuropsychological assessment tool enables providers and administrators to modify and improve tests and validate them using machine learning based on previously completed assessments and results.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR DETECTING STROKE IN A PATIENT
20230154611 · 2023-05-18 ·

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide systems and methods for performing stroke detection with machine learning (ML) systems. The method performed by a computer system includes accessing a video of a user. The method includes performing a first test on the accessed video for detecting a facial drooping factor and speech slur factor of the user in real-time. The facial drooping factor is detected with facilitation of one or more techniques. The speech slur factor is detected with execution of machine learning algorithms. The method includes performing a second test on the user for detecting a numbness factor in hands of the user. The method includes processing the facial drooping factor, the speech slur factor, and the numbness factor for detecting symptoms of stroke in the user in real-time. The method includes sending notification to at least one emergency contact of the user in real-time for providing medical assistance.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR HEARING ASSESSMENT AND AUDIO ADJUSTMENT

An audio system for user hearing assessment includes one or more audio capture devices, and processing circuitry. The one or more audio capture devices are configured to capture audio of a conversation of a user and convert the audio to audio signals. The processing circuitry is configured to use the audio signals to identify multiple conditions associated with user hearing difficulty. The conditions include any of words, phrases, frequencies, or phonemes, and environmental audio conditions that are followed by an indication of user hearing difficulty. The processing circuitry is configured to generate a hearing profile for the user based on the identified conditions associated with user hearing difficulty. The processing circuitry is configured to adjust an operation of an audio output device using the hearing profile to reduce a frequency of user hearing difficulty if the user requires audio enhancement.

PROGRAM, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD
