Multicomponent diesel composition
The invention discloses novel diesel fuel compositions including a renewable paraffinic diesel component, a fossil diesel component and an oxygenate component, as well as methods for manufacture and use of a combination of a renewable paraffinic diesel component, and an oxygenate component for reducing NOx emissions.
Renewable hydrocarbon lighter fluid
The present technology relates to hydrocarbon fluids, and more particularly, a hydrocarbon lighter fluid derived from renewable sources. Specifically, renewable fatty acids/glycerides are converted to a charcoal lighter fluid with the same or better performance than a petroleum middle distillate derived charcoal lighter fluid.
GREEN COMPOSITIONS FOR USE IN DOWNHOLE AND INDUSTRIAL APPLICATIONS
Crude oil may be treated with an additive made with Tire Pyrolysis Oil and naphtha, condensate, or both naphtha and condensate. Also disclosed herein are compositions including Tire Pyrolysis Oil wherein the composition is selected from the group consisting of: pipeline cleaner, tank cleaner, paraffin inhibitor or modifier, asphaltene inhibitor or modifier, scale inhibitor, corrosion inhibitor, stimulation fluid, crude oil density reducer, and crude oil viscosity reducer. The Tire Pyrolysis Oil is a green product recovered from recycling tires.
Processes for Producing High-Octane-Number Fuel Component
Processes for producing high-octane-number fuel components, particularly those useful for AvGas blends, can be advantageously produced from hydrocarbon feed streams comprising C8+ aromatic hydrocarbons. Such feed streams may be produced by, among others, separation and other optional post-processing of an effluent produced from a steam cracker (e.g., a liquid feed steam cracker cracking liquid feeds such as naphtha and/or other crude fractions, a gas steam cracker cracking gas feeds such as ethane and/or propane), hydrocarbon reforming of a crude fraction or steam cracker effluent fraction, C6-C7 aromatic hydrocarbon methylation, transalkylation between C6-C7 aromatic hydrocarbons and C9+ aromatic hydrocarbons, isomerization of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons, and toluene disproportionation processes.
Multicomponent diesel composition
The invention discloses novel diesel fuel compositions including a renewable diesel component, a fossil diesel component and an oxygenate component, as well as methods for manufacture and use of a combination of a renewable diesel component, and an oxygenate component for reducing particulate matter emissions.
HIGH NAPHTHENIC CONTENT NAPHTHA FUEL COMPOSITIONS
Naphtha boiling range compositions are provided that are formed from crude oils with unexpected combinations of high naphthenes to aromatics weight and/or volume ratio and a low sulfur content. The resulting naphtha boiling range fractions can have a high naphthenes to aromatics weight ratio, a low but substantial content of aromatics, and a low sulfur content. In some aspects, the fractions can be used as fuels and/or fuel blending products after fractionation with minimal further refinery processing. In other aspects, the amount of additional refinery processing, such as hydrotreatment, catalytic reforming and/or isomerization, can be reduced or minimized. By reducing, minimizing, or avoiding the amount of hydroprocessing needed to meet fuel and/or fuel blending product specifications, the fractions derived from the high naphthenes to aromatics ratio and low sulfur crudes can provide fuels and/or fuel blending products having a reduced or minimized carbon intensity.
Winterized pour point depressants
This disclosure relates to winterized pour point depressant compositions for petroleum fluids. Such compositions exhibit stability and are flowable at temperatures down to as low as −47° C., without the need for further dilution.
Compositions for Engine Carbon Removal and Methods and Apparatus for Removing Carbon
The testing of various chemicals has yielded new chemicals and chemical mixtures for the use of removing carbon deposits from the internal combustion engine. Some of these chemicals and chemical mixtures have proven to work better across many different carbon types than other chemicals that were tested. These chemical terpenes are typically produced from plants. One standard terpene mixture is known as turpentine. The chemical turpentine and chemicals found in turpentine have been determined, through our research and testing, to be extremely effective at removing the carbon that is produced within the internal combustion engine.
Fuel oil composition containing dissolved polymer waste
A low value aromatic fuel blending composition containing dissolved waste polystyrene materials having a caloric value comparable to the heavy aromatic compounds in which it is dissolved is disclosed, along with a process for its production from a mixture of heavy aromatic hydrocarbons recovered as the bottoms/reject streams from a variety of refinery aromatics recovery units.
Compositions for engine carbon removal and methods and apparatus for removing carbon
This invention relates to cleaning the induction systems, the combustion chambers and exhaust systems of internal combustion engines. And, more particularly, to chemicals and mixtures of chemicals for removing the different types of carbon deposits encountered in internal combustion engines used in “road vehicles”. Carbon deposits were taken from the induction systems of these road vehicles for the purpose of bench testing such carbon and product development. More specifically, chemicals (i.e., solvents) and chemical mixes (i.e., solutions) have been accurately tested on such harvested carbon deposits for their ability to remove the various types of carbon deposits that accumulate within road vehicle internal combustion engines. Additionally this invention also relates to apparatus for delivering chemicals and chemical mixes. Which includes those developed by applicant, as well as those prior art products marketed for carbon removal, to the induction system of vehicles to maximize the effectiveness of the chemical delivery.
