LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A liquid laundry detergent composition suitable for formulation into a water-soluble unit dose article, wherein the liquid laundry detergent composition includes a. an anionic surfactant, b. 1,2-propanediol; c. dipropylene glycoland a water-soluble unit dose article including said liquid laundry detergent composition.
Cleansing composition for skin or hair
The present invention provides a cleansing composition for skin or hair which can provide a good durability of foam and rinse feel, give good combability and softness from during rinsing to after drying while imparting manageability to hair when the cleansing composition is applied to hair, and give good moist feeling to skin when the cleansing composition is applied to skin. The cleansing composition for skin or hair is a cleansing composition comprising an internal olefin sulfonate (A) having 12 or more and 24 or less carbon atoms.
Aqueous proteolytic enzyme-containing formulation for the cleaning of hard surfaces
An aqueous formulation includes a) one or more proteolytic enzymes, b) one or more anionic surfactants, c) one or more non-ionic surfactants, d) one or more corrosion inhibitors, e) one or more multivalent aliphatic alcohols, f) one or more complexing agents, and g) one or more of para-hydroxybenzoic acid and esters thereof. The pH value of the formulation is in the range of from 9. to 12.5. The formulation is used in the mechanical cleaning of hard surfaces, in particular of medical instruments, and is preferably silicate free.
Optimized surfactant ratio for improved rinse feel
The invention relates to a detergent composition having a ratio of surfactants optimized for clean rinse feel.
Cleavable surfactants
The invention provides surfactant compounds of formulas I-IX, which can be used in methods for aiding the solubilization, digestion, preparation, analysis, and/or characterization of biological material, for example, proteins or cell membranes. The compounds can also aid in the recovery of peptides generated during protein digestion, particularly for in-gel digestion protocol. Additionally, the compounds can improve enzymatic protein deglycosylation without interfering with downstream sample preparation steps and mass spectrometric analysis. The compounds can be specifically useful as digestion aids that can be decomposed by an acid, by heat, or a combination thereof. Decomposition of the surfactants allows for facile separation from isolated samples, and/or allows for analysis of the sample without interfering with the sensitivity of various analytical techniques.
Liquid detergent composition for textile products comprising an internal olefin sulfonate/organic solvent mixture
The present invention relates to a liquid detergent composition for textile products containing the following component (A) in an amount of 10% by mass or more and 60% by mass or less, the following component (B), and water: component (A): an internal olefin sulfonate having 14 or more and 16 or less carbon atoms, wherein the mass ratio of an internal olefin sulfonate having 14 or more and 16 or less carbon atoms with the sulfonate group at position 2 or higher and position 4 or lower (IO-1S) to an internal olefin sulfonate having 14 or more and 16 or less carbon atoms with the sulfonate group at position 5 or higher (IO-2S), (IO-1S)/(IO-2S), is 0.50 or more and 4.2 or less; and Component (B): an organic solvent having a hydroxy group.
Method for producing internal olefin sulfonate
The present invention provides a method for producing a high-quality internal olefin sulfonate in which the content of any internal olefin and inorganic substance is small. This method for producing an internal olefin sulfonate, comprising: a sulfonating step of causing an internal olefin to react with sulfur trioxide to yield a sulfonated internal olefin; a neutralizing step of mixing the resultant sulfonated internal olefin with an aqueous alkaline solution at 40° C. or lower to yield a mixture, and applying shearing force to the mixture until the particle diameter of oil droplets of an oily product of the mixture turns to 10 μm or less to yield a neutralized product; and a hydrolyzing step of hydrolyzing the resultant neutralized product.
Gentle cleanser compositions
The present disclosure relates to gentle cleanser compositions, which generally include: (a) a taurate surfactant; (b) salicylic acid; (c) kaolin; d) a betaine (and/or another amphoteric surfactant) and e) an emollient. The cleanser compositions exhibit very good cleansing properties, are particularly effective for removing makeup, and are mild and moisturizing to the skin, with a good deposition of salicylic acid.
Stabilized hydrogen peroxide compositions and method of making same
Stabilized hydrogen peroxide-containing compositions and methods of making same are disclosed. The compositions contain a stabilizer system made up of a disulfonate surfactant, a diester solvent, and a sulfonic acid or a salt thereof in a sufficient quantity to provide the stabilized hydrogen peroxide with an acidic pH value. The compositions are suitable for use as disinfectants, as cleaning agents, and in various personal care applications such as hair care and tooth whitening.
Lavatory cleansing block
A lavatory cleansing block including: an alkane sulfonate; a carboxymethylcellulose; a dye; and a hydrophobe; wherein the weight ratio of carboxymethylcellulose to dye in the block is 1.5:1 to 0.8:2 and wherein the block is substantially free of guar gum.
