Suction anchor for a subsea well
A suction anchor for a subsea well is provided. The suction anchor includes a wellhead support structure. The wellhead support structure is at least in part external of the internal volume of the suction anchor.
SUBSEA ASSEMBLY MODULARIZATION
A foundation for a subsea assembly is provided. The foundation includes connection points. The connection points permit other components to be connected to the foundation and permit loads to transfer from the other components into the foundation. The foundation may be a suction anchor. A method of converting an exploration well using the foundation to a production well is also provided.
Sliding Subsea Foundations
A sliding subsea foundation comprises a polymeric shoe layer on the underside of a mudmat or subsea structure. The shoe layer defines a soil-engaging face that comprises an array of parallel grooves. The grooves are shallower than the thickness of the shoe layer such that each groove has a closed top, defined by and integral with the shoe layer, that spans the groove. Where a subsea structure is supported on the foundation with a subsea pipeline attached to the structure, the grooves are substantially parallel to a longitudinal axis of the pipeline.
Offshore platform with at least one pile
An offshore platform with at least one pile of a pile foundation with an outer wall having an external diameter and with a tube (8, 12) with an inner wall having an internal diameter which is greater than the external diameter, on the exterior of which attachments are arranged, and which is slid over the pile (2, 3) driven into the seabed (4), wherein at least one spacer (20) is provided between the outer wall of the pile (2, 3) and the inner wall of the tube (8, 12).
Offshore steel structure with integral anti-scour and foundation skirts
An offshore structure includes an adjustably buoyant hull including a plurality of vertical columns and a plurality of horizontal pontoons. Each pontoon extends between a pair of the columns. The adjustably buoyant hull is configured to receive a topside. Each column has a central axis, an upper end, and a lower end. Each pontoon has a longitudinal axis, a first end coupled to one of the columns, and a second end coupled to another one of the columns. The offshore structure also includes a foundation assembly attached to a lower end of the hull. The foundation assembly includes a column skirt extending downward from the lower end of each column and a pontoon skirt extending downward from a bottom surface of each pontoon.
ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A FIRST AND A SECOND MEMBER AND A CONNECTOR, AND A METHOD OF ASSEMBLING SUCH AN ASSEMBLY
An assembly includes first and second tubular members of a wind turbine support structure. The second member has a fork-shaped cross section with a main body between two substantially parallel walls that each comprise at least one through hole, the first member is between the two walls of the second member, and the through holes of the first and second member define a channel. A connector insertable in the channel is consecutively radially expandable. An actuator is configured to move the connector in an axial direction in said channel. The connector, when expanded, pushes the first member in a radial direction relative to said channel against the second member to define a clamping contact and thereby a pre-tensioned connection in said radial direction between a face of the first member and a face of the main body of the second member. A method of assembling the assembly.
OFF-SHORE WIND TURBINE SYSTEM AND METHOD OF INSTALLATION
An off-shore wind turbine system is assembled using a platform or jack-up vessel, and a first base anchored to the seafloor at a bade assembly off-shore location. A buoyant tower is attached to the first base. A crane provided on the platform or jack-up vessel is used to lift blades and blades, which are then coupled to a turbine held in a nacelle provided at the top of the buoyant tower. The buoyant tower, the nacelle, and the blades are detached from the first base. The buoyant tower, the nacelle, and the blades are towed to a wind farm and connected to a second base provided in the wind farm. The buoyant tower, the nacelle, and the blades are further stabilized using mooring lines spanning between the buoyant towers and other bases provided in the wind farm. The first base and/or the second base include anti-rotation features.
Eccentric Suction Pile Pump with Hinged Lift Appliance
Assembly of a suction pile and a pump system temporary connected by convenient means to the suction space of the suction pile, wherein the pump system bears onto the top of the upward extending suction pile. Between suction pile and pump system a quick connector is operative comprising a pin operated by actuator means of the pump system to move between a releasing retracted and locking extended position. It has one or more of: a pump interface remote from the protective frame; an auxiliary support frame; a hinged lift appliance; a level indicator; a docking cone designed to penetrate the suction pile interface means.
Ring-wing floating platform
A ring-wing floating platform is disclosed. The ring-wing floating platform includes a floating hull, a top of the floating hull being above a sea surface and its geometry at a water plane is centrally symmetric, a ring-wing surrounding a perimeter of a bottom of the floating hull with a horizontal projection of concentric annular geometries, a positioning system located at the bottom of the floating hull, and a topsides located above the floating hull and connected to the floating hull by deck legs or installed directly on the top of the floating hull. The axes of the ring-wing and the floating hull are collinear, and their bottoms are in a same horizontal plane. The ring-wing and the floating hull are connected together as a unitary structure by multiple connecting components with an annular gap in-between.
A DEVICE FOR SECURING A CONNECTION TO BE FORMED BETWEEN A LEG OF A MARINE STRUCTURE AND A PILE OF A FUNDAMENT FASTENED IN A SEABED
A device is for securing a connection to be formed between a leg of a marine structure and a pile of a fundament fastened in a seabed. The connection has the leg partly inserted into an opening of the pile. The device is configured to be firmly connected to the leg. The device comprises a sleeve element configured, together with the leg of the marine structure, to be brought to vicinity of an upper portion of the pile. The device further has a clamping arrangement attached to the sleeve element comprising at least one clamping device configured to form an attachment between the sleeve element and the upper portion of the pile.
