A second pressure sensor measures fluid pressure in the open hydraulic circuit. A pressure regulator regulates fluid pressure in the open hydraulic circuit. A control unit executes a combined operating condition with the winches applying a force simultaneously and based on values sensed, controls the pressure regulator so the fluid pressure in the open hydraulic circuit, during the combined operating condition, has a target value that is a function of: the fluid pressure in the closed hydraulic circuit or the current in the electric circuit.

A mobile well servicing system and method are provided for performing well services. The mobile well servicing system can include a work surface on a platform supporting an equipment such a jack, a blowout preventer (BOP), a coiled tubing (CT) injector and a mast. The mast is pivotable between a first position, with a lifting point positioned over the work surface, and a second position, with the lifting point positioned behind the platform. A hoist winch assembly mounted at the platform raises the equipment from the platform when the mast is at the first position. The equipment then pass through a space between two parallel legs of the mast, and lowered to a wellhead when the mast is at the second position. Multiple tasks such as well completion, change of dynamic temperature sensor (DTS) and electric submersible pump (ESP) can be achieved using this system.

Drill mast locking system

A method includes receiving a user input to conduct a coarse pivot movement of a drill mast. A locking-pin withdraw signal is sent to a locking pin actuator for a first period of time. Responsive to determining that a locking pin is engaged with a locking hole after the first period of time, the drill mast is repositioned from a current angle to an initial angle. A second locking-pin withdraw signal is sent to the locking pin actuator for a second period of time. Responsive to determining that the locking pin is engaged with the locking hole after the second period of time, the drill mast is repositioned between a minimum drill mast angle and a maximum drill mast angle and sending a third locking-pin withdraw signal to the locking pin actuator for a third period of time.

The reel is mounted for horizontal (x,y) movement such that, during pay-out of the tubing, the tubing pay-off point can be maintained generally above the injector, and can also be moved towards or away from the tubing abutment.

The at least one plate of each leg may include a second pivot aperture positioned to align with the first pivot aperture to pivotably couple the mast to each leg. The at least one plate may also include a second lock aperture positioned to align with each of the first lock apertures and receive a lock pin for locking the mast in a drilling position.

The rotary head and the extension element are mutually slidable and arranged to couple with each other in an upper end stop position, where the rotary head is coupled with the extension element substantially at the upper end of the extension element. The rotary head is coupled with the extension element at a lower position with respect to the upper end stop position in at least one locking position. The detection system detects the reaching of the at least one locking position by detecting at least the mutual axial position of the extension element and the rotary head.
