Frame systems for building structures
A frame system for a building structure includes beam members. Each beam member includes two opposed, parallel flanges. A web is interposed between the flanges. Spreader members include two opposed, parallel side flanges, a web interposed between the side flanges and two opposed end flanges bridging the side flanges at respective terminal ends of the web. The beam members and the spreader members are configured to be fastened to each other to form a frame assembly.
Lattice structure
A lattice structure comprising a series of connecting rings or half-rings on which a series of orienting elements are secured. The orienting elements being equipped with holes and a slot in which the connecting rings or half-rings are disposed, as well as comprising profiles that are solidly connected using joining elements that extend through holes in the profiles.
Techniques to Assemble, Design, Fabricate, Install, Specify, and Use Structures Combining Different Member Types for Building Construction Framing and Comparable Applications
An apparatus interconnects a metal stud fastened with a metal fastener and a wood stud fastened with a wood fastener. The metal stud includes a face wall and two side walls each extending away from the face wall to define a channel in between. Also included are two stud connector supports opposed to one another and a connector cross-support fixed to two stud connector supports transversely spaced apart to define a first stud receiver opposite a second stud receiver. The first stud receiver includes two side tabs each defined by a different one of the two stud connector supports, a medial tab defined by the connector cross-support, and two slots each defined between the medial tab and a different one of the two side tabs. A first one of the two side tabs defines a first tab aperture to receive the metal fastener to fasten the metal stud to the first stud receiver. The second stud receiver includes two side rails each defined by a different one of the two stud connector supports. A first one of the two side rails defines a first rail aperture to receive the wood fastener to fasten the wood stud to the second stud receiver.
Channel framing with additional functional side
Channel framing includes an elongate body having a longitudinal axis and defining an interior extending along the longitudinal axis. The body includes a first side defining a continuous slot extending lengthwise of the body and into the interior of the body. A second side is generally opposite the first side and defines a fitting groove extending lengthwise of the body. The fitting groove is configured for receiving at least one type of fitting to secure the fitting to the channel framing.
Framework module for use in modular building construction
A framework module for use in modular building construction comprises a plurality of elongate upright and cross beams, rigidly connected at or towards their ends to form a box frame with open side and end faces, and; at least one connection point on each of the upright beams which is configured to allow mutual connection with an equivalent connection point located on a substantially identical adjacent framework module, so that a plurality of framework modules can be connected together to form an open-web truss of vertically and horizontally aligned members.
STRUCTURAL MODULAR BUILDING CONNECTOR
A connector assembly, having an upper connector coupled to a lower connector and a gusset plate sandwiched between the upper and lower connectors. Also, disclosed is a hoistable connector assembly, a lifting frame assembly, a coupling system for modular frame units, a method for assembling a module unit using the connector assembly, and a modular frame unit and building having the connector assembly.
Cabin monument for an aircraft
A cabin monument for an aircraft. The cabin monument has a framework with a base frame and a frame structure connected to the base frame, and side walls fastened to the frame structure. By fastening the side walls to the structural struts of the frame structure, a mechanical load acting on the cabin monument is distributed between the framework and the side walls.
OCTAHEDRAL RETICULATED STEREO MODULE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BUILDINGS
Reticulated stereo module for the construction of buildings of the type that uses elements of reticulated stereo octahedral type and quadrangular panels for the construction of walls, floors and ceilings, which consists of 4 upper diagonal bars, 4 lower diagonal bars, 4 horizontal bars in the center in a crosswise direction, and 1 strut bar placed between the lower vertex and the central node and/or 1 tension bar placed between the upper vertex and the central node.
Rapid-deployment shelter
A shelter system is shown and described. A hub for a shelter system is shown and described. A frame for a shelter system is shown and described. In one embodiment, the shelter system includes a frame and cover. The shelter may include a hub system. The frame may be collapsible. The cover is configured to fit with the frame. The hub may include a receiver slot, a receiver sleeve and an attachment projection. The result is a shelter system with reduced set up time, effort and requirements and improved strength and ease of use. The inventions may also be considered a shelter kit and/or a shelter and hub method.
