AUTOMATIC CONTROL OF PHACOEMULSIFICATION NEEDLE TRAJECTORY
A system and method that includes inserting a needle of a phacoemulsification handpiece into an eye of a patient and vibrating the needle in a first trajectory. Matter from the eye is aspirated via an aspiration line while the needle is vibrated in the first trajectory. An indication is received, of a vacuum level in the aspiration line. Determined is, that the vacuum level has changed by at least a preset vacuum level change, and in response vibrating the needle is switched to a second trajectory, different from the first trajectory.
WOUND THERAPY SYSTEM WITH WOUND VOLUME ESTIMATION
A volume of a wound is estimated using a dynamic pressure response measured during instillation of fluid to the wound using a negative pressure wound therapy system. A previously estimated wound volume may be used to detect and prevent overfill of fluid to the wound during future instillation events. For example, real-time pressure measurements may be compared to model data representative of expected pressure at a wound having a volume equal to the previously estimated wound volume, with instillation being stopped if the observed pressure varies from the expected pressure. A comparison of a total volume of fluid instilled to the wound may also be compared to the previously estimated wound volume to prevent overfill. The comparison of wound volume estimated based on an instillation event may also be compared to a wound volume estimated using other methods to provide a higher confidence wound volume estimate.
FECAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Fecal management methods and apparatuses (e.g., devices, systems, etc.) are described herein. The fecal management apparatuses may apply one or more fecal removal cycles of suction and irrigation (and in some examples air) to actively remove fecal material. The apparatus may control the timing of delivery of the fecal removal cycles as well as the parameters of the applied suction, irrigation and/or air within and between fecal removal cycles.
PERFUSION CONTROL METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR SYRINGE PUMP, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
A perfusion control method, apparatus and system for syringe pump, and a computer-readable storage medium, wherein the method includes: when an ablation task is triggered, controlling the syringe pump to execute a perfusion operation on an ablation object, and acquiring an impedance value and/or a temperature value of the ablation object in real time; analyzing the acquired impedance value and/or temperature value to obtain real-time change information of the impedance value and/or temperature value; and adjusting a perfusion amount of the syringe pump dynamically according to the real-time change information obtained from the analysis. By means of the perfusion control method, apparatus and system for syringe pump, and the computer-readable storage medium, dynamic adjustment of the perfusion amount of the syringe pump can be achieved, thereby improving the timeliness and accuracy of liquid perfusion during the process of executing an ablation task.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMICALLY ADJUSTING RADIO FREQUENCY PARAMETER AND RADIO FREQUENCY HOST
A method and an apparatus for dynamically adjusting a radio frequency parameter, and a radio frequency host are provided. The method includes: determining an operation stage of a radio frequency operation and acquiring a radio frequency data standard range and limit range corresponding to an operation object of the radio frequency operation at the operation stage; detecting radio frequency data of the operation object in real time; controlling the radio frequency data to be within the radio frequency data standard range by controlling an injection volume of a syringe pump to the operation object when the radio frequency data detected in real time exceeds the radio frequency data standard range but does not exceed the radio frequency data limit range and lasts for a preset duration; and stopping outputting radio frequency energy when the radio frequency data detected in real time exceeds the radio frequency data limit range.
PHACOEMULSIFIER WITH HERMETIC PROTECTION AGAINST DISTALLY-PROPAGATING PRESSURE PULSES
A phacoemulsification system includes a hollow needle, an aspiration line, and a protection valve inserted in the aspiration line. The needle is configured to emulsify a lens of an eye. The aspiration line is for evacuating material from the eye. The protection valve includes a chamber, a piston and a seal. The chamber has an inlet for receiving the material arriving from the needle, and an outlet for flowing the material along the aspiration line. The piston is configured to move in the chamber between a first position that enables material flow between the inlet and the outlet, and a second position that blocks the material flow. The seal is coupled with the inlet and is configured, when the piston is in the second position, to compress between the piston and the inlet in response to a pressure pulse that propagates in the aspiration line, thereby hermetically sealing the inlet.
Dual Pump Arthroscopic Irrigation/Aspiration System With Outflow Control
A fluid pump system having a first fluid pump for pumping fluid from a source to a surgical site and a second fluid pump for removing fluid from the surgical site at a first predetermined rate, wherein said fluid pump system intermittently operates in conjunction with a surgical tool which, when operational, removes fluid from the surgical site at a second predetermined rate greater than said first predetermined rate, the improvement including a sensor for sensing a predetermined parameter of the surgical tool and providing an output signal indicating that the surgical tool is operating; and an actuating means responsive to said output signal to actuate said second fluid pump to remove fluid from the surgical site at second predetermined rate.
Automatic irrigation-coordinated lithotripsy
Systems and methods for controlling an irrigation flow rate during a lithotripsy procedure are provided. The system includes a laser configured for lithotripsy procedure, a lithotripsy irrigation system, and a temperature sensor configured to provide input to enable control of a flow of the lithotripsy irrigation system in response to a change in temperature from the operation of the laser.
AUTOMATIC CLEANING AND WASHING DEVICE FOR ADMINISTERING SUBSTANCES TO BODY
An automatic cleaning and washing device for administering substances to a body is provided. An automatic cleaning and washing device for administering substances in the body, according to one embodiment, comprises: a main body that moves internal substances stored in a predetermined accommodation space to a front end electrically depending on an operation of a driving part moving forward or backward; and a nozzle part that is coupled to or separated from a connection part configured at the front end of the main body, is inserted at least partially into the human body while coupled to the connection part of the main body, and administers the internal substances into the human body through an injection hole configured at the front end depending on an operation of the driving part of the main body.
