STABILIZER FOR FLOATING CONSTRUCT
A boat lift is attached to piles driven into the earth or to another object. The boat lift is held in horizontal position relative to piles or the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the boat lift relative to the object is permitted. The boat lift is connected to the piles by modular units or cube constructs that have a post extending there through. The post has a blade extending from it. The blades are attached at an angle, according to the application, to pile guides that engage piles. The pile guides vertically traverse the piles, permitting the boat lift to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the horizontal position of the boat lift.
To connect float modules to each other and/or to an assembly and/or to a superstructure mounted onto them, for pontoons constructed of float modules
In summation, the invention is a design to connect float modules (2) to each other and/or to assembly units and/or to the superstructure. In a preferred embodiment, the invention is applied for pontoons (1) constructed of concrete float modules (2), where prismatic float modules (2) minimally include a monolithic upper plate (3), side walls (4) and/or frame units (6) arranged along the edges (5) of the float module (2) and float modules (2) are fixed to each other by means of longitudinal tension units (15) led through said float modules (2). For tension units (15), boreholes (8) are created in the side walls (4) or the frame units (6) of the float module (2) minimum at the edges (5) of the upper plate of the prism, intersecting the prism and running parallel with the edges (5). In particular cases, directional recesses (14) are created around the exit holes (9) of boreholes (8) with skew axes (Tx, Ty, Tz), running in different directions and meeting in the corners of float modules (2). Into the directional recesses (14) between the float modules (2), resilient directional spacers (16) are inserted. Directional spacers (16) have boreholes that contain the relevant tension units (15). In present invention, at least the surfaces with the boreholes (8) for the tension units (15) are equipped with rigid corner elements (11) at the corners of the float module (2) where the impact resistance and compressive strength of the material of the corner elements (11) exceed those of the material of the float module (2); boreholes (13) are created for the exit holes (9) in the corner elements (11); the directional recesses (14) sunk into corner elements (11) are shaped as truncated cones tapering inwards and the envelope of directional spacers (16) has the same shape as that of the directional recess (14), two truncated cones with their bases facing each other.
Floating dock piling height extension assembly and method
A system and method for maintaining a connection between a floating dock and a fixed piling during a flood event. The system includes a piling sleeve that is adapted to telescopically and slidably fit over and around a fixed piling, wherein the piling is fixed into the ground below the surface of the water, and extends upwardly through an opening in a floating dock. The piling sleeve includes a catch mechanism attached to an upper portion of the piling sleeve. The catch mechanism is designed to “catch” or engage the floating dock when the dock rises with the water to a pre-determined level. The piling sleeve may freely slide upwardly and downwardly with respect to both the piling and floating dock, and when flood waters rise, the catch mechanism causes the sleeve to rise with the dock while maintaining an extended connection to the piling.
Seabed base structure and method for installation of same
This publication relates to a shallow water terminal, preferably for storing and loading or unloading hydrocarbons, such as LNG, oil or gas. The base structure comprises a floatable, and removable seabed substructure (10) intended to be supported by a seabed (30), the seabed substructure (10) comprising a base structure (11) provided preferably with an upwards extending wall structure (22), arranged along at least a part of the periphery of the base structure (11), the base structure (10) preferably also being provided with an opening (23) in the wall structure (22) for allowing the floatable module to be berthed in and supported by the seabed substructure (10). The base structure (10) is provided with strong points (24) configured to receive the ends of preinstalled vertical piles (14) for at least temporary support of the base structure (11) during a piling operation for permanent piling of the base structure (10) to the sea bed (30). The publication also relates to a method for piling a base structure on or above a seabed (30).

Each of a plurality of couplers is coupled to a respective shell so that the shells of the plurality of shells are selectively interconnectable in a substantially planar configuration. The plurality of shells thus interconnected is configured to function selectively a raft and a portable dock.
FLOATING PLATFORM
A floating platform is attached to another object. The object may be fixed to the earth or it may be a floating object such as a floating dock or a vessel. The floating platform is held in horizontal position relative to the object to which it is attached, but vertical movement of the floating platform relative to the object is permitted. The object is connected to the floating platform by devices that have blades extending from. Each blade slidably engages a bracket, with the slidable blade permitting horizontal adjustment of the distance of the floating platform from the object during installation of the floating platform. Guide posts or piles slidably engage pile guides mounted to the object, permitting the floating platform to move vertically relative to the object, but fixing the floating platform's horizontal position relative to the object.
