Smart electronic game board
An electronic game board (106 a) that is foldable and rollable includes a processing circuit (302), a play area (206) and indicators (310). Game pieces are arranged on the play area (206) for facilitating a game. Indicators (310) are arranged in the play area (206) and indicate to a player on a first game board an initial and end position of a game piece played by an opponent player on a second game board or by an AI player. The electronic game board (106 a) also includes sensors (308) to validate a move of a game piece.
Children's learning game
A learning game and apparatus that focuses on improving the mastery of object permanence, language acquisition, humor development, and complex imaginative play abilities in young children. Primarily, the present invention is designed for early learners (infants, toddlers, and preschoolers), as no reading is required. The game invention and apparatus comprises a game board, game cards, accessory box and accessories, and has many playstyle variations to accommodate play by young children. The present invention facilitates learning through human interactive peek-a-boo play. The goal of the game is to find the peek-a-boo surprise by engaging in dialogue via game cards attached to a vertical game board. Certain variations of the game can be played with one designated game leader and one or more game players. Younger children are encouraged to play with older children as well as take on the role of game leader, as an opposite method of playing. Additionally, the present invention may also provide a means to teach young children sign language.
Gaming hardware device, a board game kit and related control method
A gaming hardware device is disclosed having an interactive gaming platform that can be connected to a multi-purpose central console. The electronics for making an interactive board game are divided so that a minimal part is in an interactive platform that includes the game board, while all the logic and processing part is relegated to a central console that can be reused also for other interactive platforms. A game kit having the hardware device and a plurality of game pieces containing a passive RFID TAG readable by the central console as well as a method of controlling a board game kit are also disclosed.
Gameplay area system
In some examples, a gameplay area system comprises a playmat including a middle section. The playmat may comprise a first side section rotatably coupled to the middle section enabling the first side section to fold over the middle section, the first side section comprising at least one closing magnet. According to some examples, the playmat comprises a second side section rotatably coupled to the middle section opposite the first side section, enabling the second side section to fold over the middle section and the first side section. The second side section may comprise at least one mat magnet. The at least one mat magnet may be configured to magnetically couple to the at least one closing magnet while the first side section is folded over the middle section and while the second side section is folded over the middle section and the first side section.
GAMEPLAY AREA SYSTEM
In some examples, a gameplay area system comprises a playmat including a middle section. The playmat may comprise a first side section rotatably coupled to the middle section enabling the first side section to fold over the middle section, the first side section comprising at least one closing magnet. According to some examples, the playmat comprises a second side section rotatably coupled to the middle section opposite the first side section, enabling the second side section to fold over the middle section and the first side section. The second side section may comprise at least one mat magnet. The at least one mat magnet may be configured to magnetically couple to the at least one closing magnet while the first side section is folded over the middle section and while the second side section is folded over the middle section and the first side section.
Reconfigurable board game system
A reconfigurable boardgame system herein comprises a reconfigurable boardgame board (e.g., four panel tri-fold) with a plurality of page-retaining corner members in corners of board panels, allowing interchanging customized boardgame pages. In one embodiment, only those corners of each panel that are exteriorly located on the board have corresponding corner members (leaving the center unobstructed). In another embodiment, the boardgame board is contained within a reconfigurable boardgame kit, which may comprise reusable (e.g., generic and shared) game pieces (dice, timers, pawns, etc.) for use by many games. In still another embodiment, the boardgame kit comprises blank and/or templated items to be filled in, such as boardgame panels, cards, customized dice, game pawn blanks, rules templates, etc. Envelopes may store the game panel pages, rules, and custom pieces of each individual boardgame, to be stored in the kit and used with the reconfigurable boardgame board and the generic reusable game pieces.
INTERACTIVE BASKETBALL BOARD GAME SYSTEM WITH MODULAR COURT AND MULTIPLE GAME MODES
An interactive basketball board game system having a substantially planar surface serving as a game court with removable perimeter borders that define a playing area. The system includes basketball hoops and backboards secured to end borders, and miniature basketballs. The court surface features magnetic-receptive material enabling interchangeable court illustrations. The system incorporates authentic basketball simulation mechanics requiring balls to bounce once before shooting attempts, foul calling systems, and alternating possession rules. The compact, portable design allows for easy assembly, disassembly, and storage while providing comprehensive basketball gameplay experiences suitable for various skill levels and player counts.
GAME BOARD WITH A TRANSFORMABLE PLAYING SURFACE
Disclosed is a game board that can be transformed during game play to provide alternative playing surfaces to enhance player enjoyment of a game. The game board has at least one mobile section connected to the game board. This mobile section is movable between a closed position and an open position. When in the closed position the mobile section displays a first playing surface and when in the open position the mobile section displays a second playing surface that is different from the first playing surface. This enhances gameplay enjoyment and variety to encourage repeated game play. This game board design can be adapted for use in a wide variety of types of board games.
DETACHABLE AND FOLDABLE GAME BOARD
A detachable and foldable game board includes a board and a box. A plurality of creases is provided and spaced equidistantly on the board along a transverse direction thereof. Two ends of the board are respectively provided with a left side strip and a right side strip which are separated by the creases. The left side strip, the board and the right side strip are foldable along the creases. The right side strip is detachably connected to the box by a connection mechanism. A top portion of the box is recessed to form a certain number of accommodating cavities, and there is at least one accommodating cavity. The board can be folded and an elastic tightening band is used to tightly wrap the board and the box together. The overall size is greatly reduced and it is convenient to carry.
Board Game Device
A board game device is disclosed which comprises a body component that is configured in a flat, rectangular shape which can be folded into a box. The game is intended for two to four players. Players use the central spinner to dictate where they can go on the board game device and can pick up cards when necessary to further dictate player movement across the board. Throughout the game, players must navigate the barriers to polling and voting, with spaces on the board representing various hindrances that players must overcome, thereby awarding points either negatively or positively based on their reactions to certain voting scenarios. The goal of the game is to accumulate the most points.
