COMMENTARY VIDEO GENERATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, SERVER, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A commentary video generation method and apparatus, server, and storage medium. The method includes: obtaining a game instruction frame, the game instruction frame including at least one game operation instruction, and the game operation instruction being used for controlling a virtual object; generating a commentary data stream based on the game instruction frame, the commentary data stream including at least one piece of commentary audio describing a game event, and the game event being triggered during the virtual object performing the in-game behavior; rendering a game screen based on the game instruction frame to generate a game video stream, the game video stream including at least one game video frame; and combining the commentary data stream with the game video stream, the game video frame and the commentary audio corresponding to the same game event in the commentary video stream being aligned in time.
REDUCING LATENCY IN ANTICHEAT DATAFLOW
Systems and methods for generating and storing metrics are described herein. In particular, a game server may receive game activity data from one or more client devices connected to the game server via a network. The game server sends the activity data to an anticheat server that uses one or more nodes to each calculate a portion of the activity data to generate one or more metrics. The metrics may indicate whether the data is indicative of cheating behavior within a parallel reality game. The nodes add their respective generated metrics to a relational database using prepared insert statements. The anticheat server may instruct the game server to take action with respect to one or more client devices if the metrics indicate that cheating behavior was exhibited within the data.
Processing Apparatus, Program, And Method
A processing apparatus includes an input interface, an output interface, a memory, and a processor. The processor is configured to select one virtual camera from a plurality of virtual cameras arranged in a virtual game space in accordance with an instruction input from a spectator user accepted via the input interface while outputting a first spectacular image of the virtual game space virtually captured by another virtual camera via the output interface. The processor is configured to output a second spectacular image of the virtual game space virtually captured by one virtual camera via the output interface, instead of the first spectacular image.

System and Method for Enhancing Game Performance Based on Key Acoustic Event Profiles
A system, method, and computer-readable medium are disclosed for improved threat sensitivity in a gaming application. As audio streams are received during a gaming scenario, a threat profile is selected that best matches the audio streams. The threat profile is a machine language cluster of noise used to adjust speaker equalization profile to emphasize threat noises. Digital signal processing (DSP) coefficients of the speaker equalization profile are adjusted as the gaming application continues.

CLASSIFYING GAMING ACTIVITY TO IDENTIFY DESIRABLE BEHAVIOR
A method of controlling online gaming behavior. The method including monitoring at a game server a plurality of game plays of a plurality of players playing a video game in a gaming session over a period of time. The method including extracting features from the plurality of game plays related to a plurality of activities associated with the plurality of game plays, the plurality of activities being controlled by the plurality of players. The method including running the features through an artificial intelligence (AI) learning model configured to classify the plurality of activities. The method including classifying an activity as abusive behavior.
TECHNIQUES FOR COMBINING USER'S FACE WITH GAME CHARACTER AND SHARING ALTERED CHARACTER
A technique presents on a display a computer game character and a first scannable code (SC) scannable by a camera of at least a first user apparatus to cause a server to download to the first user apparatus a photo app operable to generate a photo of a first user and send the photo to the server, which alters the character in accordance with the photo. The character with the face altered is presented along with a second SC that can be scanned to cause the server to download to the first user apparatus a share app operable to select a second user apparatus to send an image of the character with the face altered in accordance with the photo such that the second user apparatus can display the character with the face altered in accordance with the photo.

Re-encoding predicted picture frames in live video stream applications
In various examples, a media stream may be received by a re-encode system that may leverage a recode engine to convert (e.g., at an interval, based on a request, etc.) an inter-frame associated with the media stream to an intra-frame. The intra-frame may be converted from the inter-frame using parameters or other information associated with and received with the media stream. The converted intra-frame may be merged into an updated segment of the media stream in place of the original inter-frame to enable storage of the updated segment—or a portion thereof—for later use.
