AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM, DUAL FUEL SYSTEM, AND METHODS THEREFOR
Systems are provided including a selective catalytic reduction catalyst structured to receive first exhaust gas from a first fuel source of a dual fuel engine system and second exhaust gas from a second fuel source of the dual fuel engine system, a first fuel of the first fuel source differing from a second fuel of the second fuel source, an ammonia slip catalyst positioned downstream of the selective catalytic reduction catalyst to receive a flow of exhaust gases from the selective catalytic reduction catalyst without an intervening catalyst, and an oxidation catalyst positioned downstream of the ammonia slip catalyst to receive the flow of exhaust gases from the ammonia slip catalyst without an intervening catalyst.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXHAUST PURIFICATION FOR AN INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
An exhaust aftertreatment system for purifying an exhaust gas feedstream that is expelled from an internal combustion engine that is operable at an air/fuel ratio that is lean of stoichiometry is described. The exhaust aftertreatment system includes a barrier discharge plasma reactor that is disposed upstream relative to a catalytic reactor and electrically connected to a plasma controller. The barrier discharge plasma reactor is controlled to generate ozone from constituents of the exhaust gas feedstream when the internal combustion engine is operating at a lean air/fuel ratio and at a low temperature condition. The generated ozone reacts, in the catalytic reactor, to oxidize non-methane hydrocarbons contained in the exhaust gas feedstream when the internal combustion engine is operating at lean air/fuel ratio and at low temperature conditions.
Exhaust gas purification system for internal combustion engine
An exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine is provided with a filter including a selective catalytic reduction NOx catalyst carried thereon. Further, a post-catalyst is provided for an exhaust gas passage disposed on a downstream side from the filter. The post-catalyst has an oxidizing function, and the post-catalyst has such a function that the production of N.sub.2 based on the oxidation of ammonia is facilitated in a predetermined first temperature area. A filter regeneration process execution unit is programmed to control the temperature of the post-catalyst to be in the first temperature area while adjusting the temperature of the filter to be in a predetermined second temperature area lower than a filter regeneration temperature during a certain period of time.
Construction Machine
A construction machine includes: a cover that covers an engine and a radiator; a radiator fan that is arranged at the rear of a vehicle body frame and discharges exhaust gas toward the rear of the vehicle body frame from the inner space of the cover; an injection device that injects a reducing agent into exhaust gas of the engine; a tank housing section that is arranged at one side of the vehicle body frame, includes an introduction section for introducing outside air, and houses a tank for storing the reducing agent injected by the injection device; and a connection section that is arranged in either the cover or the vehicle body frame and in the tank housing section, connects the inner space of the tank housing section and the inner space of the cover, and allows the outside air and the pipe to pass therethrough, the outside air having been introduced from the introduction section by the suction pressure of the radiator fan, the pipe supplying the reducing agent to the injection device.
FLUID LINE
The invention relates to a fluid line (1) having a tube (2) made of a synthetic material. The fluid line (1) should be guided in a flexible manner. To this end, it is provided that the synthetic material can be subjected to a temperature of at least 150° C., and that along part of the length thereof, the tube (2) is surrounded by an expansion protection (8).
Industrial Vehicle
An engine exhaust system is accommodated in a counterweight portion without reducing either the efficiency of cooling by a radiator or the efficiency of purifying exhaust gas by an exhaust gas purification device. A body has a work device provided at the front and the counterweight portion at the rear. A ventilation path provided in the counterweight portion includes an elevated part formed between a bottom of a front portion and a bottom of a rear portion. The purification device and a muffler are disposed in the rear portion of the ventilation path so as to be positioned one above the other with the purification device lying above the muffler and having an upper portion protruding above the bottom of the front portion of the ventilation path. A windbreak plate made from a heat insulating material is disposed forward from the purification device so as to face the latter.
Exhaust device for internal combustion engine
An exhaust muffler is made up of a plurality of layers including an exhaust passage pipe and expansion chambers, and includes a front assembly and a rear assembly sub-assembled separately from the front assembly. The front assembly includes a front exhaust passage pipe, a front muffler body disposed in covering relation to the outside of the front exhaust passage pipe and cooperating with the front exhaust passage pipe in making up double-walled pipes, and an exhaust valve disposed in the front exhaust passage pipe. The rear assembly includes a rear exhaust passage pipe and a rear muffler body disposed in covering relation to the outside of the rear exhaust passage pipe and cooperating with the rear exhaust passage pipe in making up double-walled pipes. There is thus provided an exhaust device for an internal combustion engine in which the accuracy of a position where the exhaust valve is installed is high.
Catalytic converter device for a stationary internal combustion engine
A catalytic converter device for a stationary internal combustion engine includes at least one bracket for mounting the catalytic converter device on a carrier, and at least one catalyst substrate which can be releasably arranged in a housing of the catalytic converter device, the catalyst substrate having a cell density of at least 50 cpsi, preferably greater than 100 cpsi.
CYLINDER HEAD WITH INTEGRATED CATALYST
A cylinder head assembly for an internal combustion engine is provided. In one example implementation, the cylinder head assembly includes a cylinder head, a bypass passage formed within the cylinder head and defining a catalyst cavity, and a bypass catalytic converter disposed within the catalyst cavity, where the bypass catalytic converter is configured to provide emissions reduction during cold start, long idle, and/or low main catalytic converter temperature conditions.
SCR Catalyst
The present invention relates to a catalyst comprising at least one oxide of vanadium, at least one oxide of tungsten, at least one oxide of cerium, at least one oxide of titanium and at least one oxide of antimony, and an exhaust system containing said oxides.
