The heat source is arranged such that it, upon activation, selectively heats one of the electrodes (12) of the electrochemical sensor.

A sensing platform for continuous water resource monitoring by electrochemical detection and solution parameter correction is provided. The sensing platform employs a solid-state electrolyte three-electrode cell, creating a high ionic strength environment within the solid-state electrolyte membrane, which is in ion exchange equilibria with the sampled solution. This device may be used as a standalone sensor in environments where the water parameters (pH temperature, and ionic strength) are controlled, or in concert with compensation sensors where water parameters are not controlled.

A monitor and indicator system includes a sensor part, a control and indication part, and a power part. The monitor and indicator system is configured to: (a) monitor a concentration of a sterilant in a sanitizing solution; (b) determine a depletion of the sterilant upon detecting that the concentration of the sterilant becomes equal to or falls below a predetermined threshold concentration level; and (c) indicate the depletion of the sterilant of the sanitizing solution by emitting a notification.

A system and method for measuring concentration of oxidation ions in a solution includes a conduit that contains the solution at least temporarily, a pH sensor associated with the conduit and configured to provide a pH signal indicative of a pH of the solution, an oxidation reduction probe (ORP) associated with the conduit and configured to provide an ORP signal indicative of an oxidation reduction of the solution, and a controller configured to receive and process the pH signal and the ORP signal, wherein the controller calculates a concentration of oxidation ions in the solution based on the pH and ORP signals.

The present disclosure relates to a semiconductor device and a cell potential measuring device capable of improving measurement accuracy of a potential of a solution.A semiconductor device includes a read electrode that reads a potential of a solution, a differential amplifier, a first capacitor connected in series in a loop feeding back an output of the differential amplifier to a second input different from a first input from the read electrode, a resistance element connected in parallel with the first capacitor, and a second capacitor connected between a reference electrode indicating a reference potential and the second input. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, a cell potential measuring device.
