METHOD FOR VALIDATING A VOUCHER
The present invention is related to a computer implemented method for validating a voucher in an electronic voucher system, the electronic voucher system comprising a voucher holder application, an attestation application, a voucher issuer application an issuer server application, a voucher collector application, a smart contract system or SCS. An electronic voucher system, a computer program product and a computer-readable storage medium for carrying out the steps of the method is also described.
Color changing payment card
A method includes receiving, on an electronic payment device, a radio frequency signal from a mobile electronic device. The radio frequency signal is used to control an activation of an electric current to one or more color producing components on the electronic payment device. The electric current is transmitted to the one or more color producing components. The one or more color producing components display a color when the electric current is transmitted to the color producing components.
PROCESS FOR CARRYING OUT TRANSACTIONS
The invention concerns a process for carrying out transactions which includes issuing electronic tokens marked by a first unique identification code and a monetary value, assigning electronic tokens having a reference code associated with the consumer addressee stored inside to a consumer, and using electronic tokens to carry out transactions such as purchasing goods and/or services at merchants. At the end of each transaction, the consumer reference code is deleted from the tokens used in the transaction and a reference code of the merchant who received the tokens in the transaction is stored in the electronic tokens.
Systems and methods for transferring balances
A positive balance on a first financial account associated with a prepaid card are transferrable to a second financial account associated with a third party. In some embodiments, an instruction to transfer a portion of the first financial account to the second financial account is received. The instruction is associated with one or more triggering events. The one or more triggering events are associated with an inactive amount of time associated with the prepaid card, an expiration date associated with the prepaid card, and/or a balance of the first financial account associated with the prepaid card. A first triggering event of the one or more triggering events is detected. Upon detection of the first triggering event, the portion of the first financial account is transferred to the second financial account. Aspects of the disclosure enable a processing system to identify one or more opportunities to liquidate and/or fund financial accounts in an organized, resource-efficient, and timely manner.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE AND INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to the provision of an information processing device that can smoothly perform the migration of a system. An information processing device includes a processing unit including a first function of executing processing that uses service information stored in a recording medium, and a second function of executing processing that uses identification information regarding a service that is stored in a recording medium, and a determination unit configured to determine processing to be executed by the processing unit, on the basis of a request from an external device. In the information processing device, the processing unit executes processing determined on the basis of the request, and the first function is invalidated on the basis of an invalidation request from an external device.
Technologies for generating and displaying virtual and interactive egifts
Technologies for unwrappable virtual egifts enabling recipients to redeem gift credits using payment accounts. In some examples, a system identifies a merchant associated with a giver, the giver being associated with a giver payment account and a recipient being associated with a recipient payment account. The system associates a policy with the gift credit and generates an image underlay identifying the gift credit and an image overlay hiding the image underlay and gift credit, the image overlay including a separable flap having a portion that appears unadhered to the image underlay, the separable flap being configured to trigger, in response to an input, an animated unwrapping effect that removes the image overlay to reveal the image underlay and gift credit. The system presents the image overlay and, in response to receiving the input, generates the animated unwrapping effect to remove the image overlay and reveal the image underlay.
Systems and methods for transferring a gift using an information storage and communication system
Systems and methods for using an information wallet system to deliver a gift and receive, redeem, or re-gift the gift are disclosed. The information wallet system's storage is securely maintained by a financial institution computing system (i.e. a bank) and receives and holds purchase transaction information. Purchase information transaction may be received from a user computing device or an entity computing system, such as a merchant computing system. In one embodiment, a user may purchase a gift through an online website or at a brick and mortar location and direct the gift to be deposited into the information wallet storage of a recipient. A recipient may then continue to hold the gift, redeem the gift, or re-gift the gift to another party.
Method and device for communicating transactional data
A method for detecting fraudulent communications receives gift card data associated with a gift card offered for sale by a customer. The method receives customer information about the customer associated with an identity document of the customer and associates the gift card data with the customer information. The method determines a balance of the gift card at an initial point in time based on the gift card data. The method determines the balance of the gift card at a subsequent point in time. The method compares the balance of the gift card at the initial point in time to the balance of the gift card at the subsequent point in time. The method associates a fraud alert with the customer information if the balance of the gift card at the initial point in time is different than the balance of the gift card at the subsequent point in time.
Digital Pharmacy Discount and Loadable Payment Card and Systems and Methods for Use of Such Card
A digital card, DPD&P card, functions as both (a) a prescription drug discount card and (b) a loadable/reloadable stored-value account card (e.g., debit card) for purchasing prescription drugs. A client displays the DPD&P card at a mobile device (e.g., smartphone), including drug discount identification information, which is read at a pharmacy point-of-sale (POS) and forwarded to a pharmacy benefits manager (PBM) to identify a discount for a drug purchase. The client may initiate, via the mobile device, a request to redeem funds onto the DPD&P card, and in response, a financial entity generates or updates a debit account balance linked to the DPD&P card. During a drug purchase transaction, a debit account identifier (e.g., barcode) linked to the debit account balance is displayed at the client mobile device, and read at a pharmacy POS to access the debit account balance to make a full or partial payment for the drugs.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTEST FUNDS MANAGEMENT
