On-surface mass tagging
The present disclosure relates to a method for detecting a compound, comprising the steps of: contacting a compound with a solid analytical surface (SAS), thereby forming an SAS with an absorbed compound; contacting the SAS with the absorbed compound with a mass tag, wherein the mass tag reacts with the absorbed compound, thereby forming an SAS with a covalently mass-tagged absorbed compound; and detecting the covalently mass-tagged absorbed compound by mass spectrometry. Also disclosed is a device for collecting breath aerosol, comprising a card or an envelope, wherein the card or the envelope comprise a tab, wherein the tab is a SAS.
METHODS OF MONITORING FOR ADHERENCE TO BREXPIPRAZOLE (REXULTI®) THERAPY
Methods for helping to monitor subject adherence with a prescribed antipsychotic drug treatment regimen are disclosed.
Method and apparatus for real-time detection of human cannabinoid intoxication
A method for quantifying the intoxicating affect of natural and synthetic Cannabinoids on Humans. The method includes the capacity to measure a human's psychoactive intoxication as a function of Cannabinoid-Mediated Depolarization-Induced Suppression of Inhibition (C-DISI) relative to the Cannabinoid Receptors found in the Human brain. A Method incorporating the ability to also quantify the affects of Cannabinoids on the various Cannabinoid Receptors found in the Human body. Neurons are used as transistors in a solid state electronic configuration with an apparatus to measure the toxicity of a given aqueous solution comprised of one or more Cannabinoid analytes. Said method incorporates a novel recycling process affiliated with analyte acquisition & testing.
Mass produced, low cost, portable test kit for the detection and identification of narcotics
A highly portable, paper and swab-based detection kit is provided for identifying Amphetamine, Cannabis, Cocaine, Heroin, selected synthetic Cannabinoid, and amphetamine based Cathinone type stimulants, and cannabis consumable products. A method of mass manufacture providing low cost kits with long term commercial shelf life and a method of use are also provided.
PROCESSING CARTRIDGE FOR PORTABLE DRUG TESTING SYSTEM
A cartridge for sample preparation includes an inlet configured to receive a collected sample, a phase transfer assembly including a plurality of bead layers, and an outlet. The collected sample is configured to be transferred through the bead layers of the phase transfer assembly to extract a compound therefrom. The outlet is configured to transfer the extracted compound to a detector for analysis of the extracted compound.
Pharmacodynamic Model for Determining Last Use of Inhaled and Oral Cannabis Products
The present invention provides a method for determining recent use of cannabis in human subjects, the method comprising collecting samples of whole blood separated in time utilizing a device that collects and stores capillary blood for LC-MS/MS analysis. In particular embodiments, the method is used by law enforcement personnel to collect evidence in driving under the influence investigations. In some embodiments, the method is utilized by employers in routine monitoring of workplace drug policy compliance among employees and in workplace accident investigations.
CANNABINOID COMPOSITIONS FOR VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY EXPERIENCES
The present invention relates to a method for subjecting a subject to an augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) experience. The method may comprise administering to the subject a composition comprising a cannabinoid compound. The method may comprise, subsequent to the administration of the composition comprising the cannabinoid compound, using an AR or VR device to subject the subject to an AR or VR experience. The method may comprise detecting a response of the subject to the AR or VR experience and the composition comprising the cannabinoid compound.
Methods of Terpene Profiling Cannabis Plant Material
The present disclosure relates to methods of determining the terpene profile of cannabis plant material, specifically through use of gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Extraction methods include liquid based extraction methods, specifically hexane based liquid extraction methods, and headspace extraction methods, specifically static headspace extraction and headspace solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME). Static headspace and HS-SPME are shown to be better for monoterpene extraction, and hexane based liquid extraction for sesquiterpene extraction.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR DETERMINATION OF BANNED SUBSTANCES
The present invention relates to roadside analyzer for determination of illegal drugs abuse, including, but not limiting to detection of explosives, toxic industrial chemicals and other banned or regulated compounds, biomarkers and phytochemicals in a sample in situ in at least one human body fluid sample, specifically in oral fluid (saliva), but not limiting to other clinical samples of interest (urine, blood, exhaled breath, exhaled breath condensate, etc.) It consists of automatic processor for preparing samples suitable for analysis. Analysis part of the instrument implements three technologies, namely solid phase extraction prior to analysis, capillary electrophoresis for separation of analytes from the sample matrix and impedance (contactless conductivity) or fluorescence or both impedance (contactless conductivity) and fluorescence for detection of analytes of interest.
Apparatus for detecting analyte in a liquid sample and method thereof
The present invention provides an apparatus for detecting the presence or absence of an analyte in liquid sample, including: a collection chamber, including an opening for collecting a liquid sample; a testing element for testing the analyte in liquid sample; and a cover for covering the opening of the collection chamber; wherein the apparatus further includes a prompting device for prompting if the cover is covered to a specified location, and the prompting device shall at least includes a first element and a second element, the first element is in contact with the second element, wherein one element vibrates to produce a sound. In some preferred ways, the second element produces friction with the first element, to cause one of the elements to generate vibrations. The apparatus in the present invention can allow the prompting sound to be clear and loud.
