Method and apparatus for vehicle to mobile phone communication
A system includes a processor configured to receive a vehicle event and determine a wireless device present connection state relative to a vehicle infotainment system. The processor is further configured to communicate with a remote server through a vehicle modem, including transmission of the wireless device present connection state, based on the occurrence of the vehicle event. The processor may also be configured to request that the remote server instruct a wireless device to pair with a vehicle infotainment system if the wireless device present connection state indicates the wireless device is not presently paired.

Positioning system, base station, and positioning method
A positioning system includes a receiver that receives a positioning signal from a positioning satellite and generates carrier phase information, a base station that receives the carrier phase information from the receiver, and a communication terminal that performs wireless communication with the base station. The base station transmits information including the carrier phase information and the position information of the receiver as a carrier positioning signal to the communication terminal and the communication terminal performs carrier positioning using the carrier positioning signal transmitted by the base station. Here, the base station encrypts the position information of the receiver, in the carrier positioning signal to be transmitted.

TERMINAL POSITION MEASURING DEVICE AND TERMINAL POSITION MEASURING METHOD
Disclosed is a technology for increasing a positioning success rate and reducing a positioning error with high reliability by proposing an improved positioning scheme based on virtual satellites capable of improving DOP and removing an error in a satellite measurement value when a location of a terminal in an inadequate environment such as downtown/indoors near a window is measured.

Measuring device and measuring method for testing a location tracking employing real time kinematics
A measuring device serves the purpose of testing a location tracking of a device under test. The measuring device comprises a global navigation satellite system simulator adapted to wirelessly transmit a radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal to a device under test, and a base station simulator adapted to wirelessly transmit a real-time kinematic signal to the device under test. The measuring device is adapted to compare a location, determined by the device under test based on the radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal and the real-time kinematic signal, with an ideal location, upon which the radio frequency global navigation satellite system signal and the real-time kinematic signal are based.
