Event notifications for multiple services

Methods, computer-readable storage media and apparatuses for processing event notifications are disclosed. For example, a processor receives an event notification of an event from a device of a service provider that is providing a service to a user, wherein the network service provider is distinct from the service provider, determines that the service provider and the event are of a type of service provider and a type of event, respectively, that the user has consented to receive the event notification, sends a message in a unified message format to a device of the user, the message comprising the event, receives a response from the device of the user containing an indication of whether the event is an authorized event, and sends the indication of whether the event is an authorized event to the device of the service provider.

MULTI-DISTRIBUTION RESOURCE ALLOCATION SYSTEM

A system that provides for implementing a communication network with multiple data routers capable of segmenting a data file, such that the data routers provide for multi-distribution of different segments of a data file to different targets. As a result, a source is able to communicate a data file, segments of which are designated for multiple targets and have the actual segmentation of the data file occur after the data file has been transmitted (i.e., during the routing process).

ORDERING SUPPLIES ON LOCATION

The present disclosure is directed to methods and apparatus for fulfilling orders within a local community. Methods and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may receive communications from user devices, may provide inventory information to those user devices, may accept orders for products from user devices, and may allow for users to arrange for the delivery of ordered products within minutes or hours after an order has been placed. In certain instances, user devices may be identified as being associated with a customer account based on customer identifiers. Method and apparatus consistent with the present disclosure may also receive customer profile information that is used to process and pay for orders.

Heartbeat control system for shared bicycles

The present disclosure relates to the field of shared bicycles, and particularly relates to a heartbeat control system for shared bicycles. The heartbeat control system may include a server configured to divide an area that includes the shared bicycles into a plurality of parking zones based on a virtual map and determine an off-peak period and a peak period of each of the plurality of parking zones, and a lock control device mounted on one of the shared bicycles. The lock control device may include a network module that is periodically actuated by the lock control device. The lock control device may be configured to obtain, based on a parking zone of the shared bicycle, an off-peak period and a peak period corresponding to the parking zone, and extend an actuation frequency during the off-peak period.

A device may determine information that identifies a location of a projectable transaction card that is capable of being used to conduct a transaction associated with a merchant. The device may determine that the location of the projectable transaction card matches a location associated with the merchant. The device may identify a virtual transaction number that is unique to the merchant, previously associated with the merchant, unique to an account associated with the projectable transaction card, and to be used in conducting the transaction. The device may provide the virtual transaction number for display on a display screen of the projectable transaction card. The virtual transaction number may not be displayed on the display screen of the projectable transaction card prior to a determination that the location of the projectable transaction card matches the location associated with the merchant.

Self-service payment card security system

A payment card security system includes a payment card provider account system communicatively coupled to a payment card transaction device and a mobile device. The payment card transaction device sends an indication that a payment card is being used to perform a transaction. The payment card provider account system includes processors that receive the indication that the payment card is being used to perform the transaction from the payment card transaction device. The processors also send a notification indicating that the payment card is being used to perform the transaction. The processors further enable authorization of the transaction via the mobile device. In this manner, the payment card security system may prevent or reduce the occurrence of suspicious transactions as they are occurring, rather than waiting until after they have occurred.

Payment card with user feedback

Aspects described herein may allow for method of detecting when a payment card is in a retail establishment by establishing communication between the payment card and a real-time position tracking system; determining whether one of a plurality of accounts linked to the payment card has been used in one or more prior purchasing transactions in the retail establishment; detecting, movement of the payment card with respect to the individual carrying the payment card while the payment card is in a carrying device carried by the individual; and providing, by the payment card, haptic feedback and visible feedback to the individual carrying the payment card.
