System for resource service provider
In one embodiment, a system, is provided to take not just a person's time and location into consideration, but also has knowledge of and takes into account their availability, their preferences, their schedule, their purpose for being at their current location, and/or their next goal or stop. One embodiment is able to take into account a real-time view of supplier inventory and deduce and make available much better-adapted offerings and support for that person's travels and endeavors. In one embodiment, having an understanding of a rate of conversion and its relation to traffic and weather patterns allows service providers to make more accurate predictions about various items, including but not limited to, conversion rates, offer types, offer upgrades, traffic etc. In yet another aspect of the invention, the information collected from many travelers, and also information collected from airlines and weather observers, etc., can be used to forecast inventory requirements, such as obtaining and preparing fresh food and pulling from storage chilled or frozen food, as well as man power or staffing level requirements, to meet projected demands.
Event information determination
Systems and methods are provided for determining the presence of a location-based event by receiving information from one or more sellers. The information may include seller location and/or types of items sold. The type of event may be determined. Optionally, a guide for the event can be generated based on the information received from the sellers. Information about the event and/or the guide may be accessed by a mobile device of a potential buyer or via a web directory.
DIGITAL METHOD FOR FACILITATING THE ORGANISATION OF AN EVENT OR PROJECT
A facilitation method for organizing an event or project consisting of the following steps: making a proposal of an event or project, the proposal: setting out choices for the event or project and enabling respondents to indicate preferences amongst the choices; allocation of an account for receipt of money from respondents upon triggering the event or project, the proposal: further enabling respondents to provide commitment to pay to attend or participate in the proposed event or project; electronic advertisement of the event or project; receiving preferences and commitments to pay from respondents; and determination of whether the received preferences and commitments to pay are sufficient to warrant the event or project being triggered.
Venue guest device message prioritization
A system to improve end-user monetization in a captive audience environment is disclosed. Mobile and wearable users may be engaged by way of contextual and perishable messaging. Such messaging is dynamically updated and maintained to provide a unique messaging experience which increases monetization opportunities, which may utilize location based technologies.
GATHERING MISSING INFORMATION ELEMENTS
This technology relates to requesting missing data associated with a geographic location. The system may comprise a memory for storing lists of information elements each associated with one or more physical types of geographic locations and a processor. The processor may be programmed to receive a current location of a client device and determine the current location is proximate to a first geographic location. The processor may determine a physical location type of the first geographic location and retrieve a list of information elements associated with the physical location type. The list of items may be compared to a set of information elements associated with the first geographic location and a determination of a missing information element may be made. A notification may be generated based on the missing information element and the determination that the client device is proximate to the first geographic location.
SERVER FOR SELECTING A SEQUENTIAL TASK-ORIENTED EVENT AND METHODS FOR USE THEREWITH
An event wizard server includes at least one processor that executes the event wizard server application that bidirectionally communicates event planning data with a user of a client device via a network interface. The event planning data includes: event type menu data, and event type selection data, wherein at least one event type includes a sequential task-oriented event.
Geo-location based event gallery
A computer implemented method may include receiving geo-location data from a device of a user; comparing the geo-location data with a geo-location fence associated with an event; determining that the geo-location data corresponds to the geo-location fence associated with the event; responsive to the determining that the geo-location data corresponds to the geo-location fence associated with the event, supplying user-selectable event gallery information, associated with an event gallery of the event, to the device for addition to a destination list on the device; detecting selection of the user-selectable event gallery information in the destination list by the user of the device; and/or responsive to the detecting of the selection of the user-selectable event gallery information by the user of the device, adding the user as a follower of the event, with access to the event gallery.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SQUADRON COMMUNICATION EXCHANGE BETWEEN RECEIVING DEVICES
A method and system for communication protocol pass reduction amongst recipient nodes capable of receiving broadcast messages, the recipient nodes functioning as different decisions points for determination of a passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween. The method and system provide squadron communication between different ones of the recipient nodes, wherein one of the recipient nodes becomes a squadron leader node upon a selection of a specific broadcast message for distribution to other recipient nodes for acceptance. The squadron leader node and the other recipient nodes upon acceptance form the passing joint set of nodes for squadron communication therebetween.
AUTOMATICALLY CREATING AN EVENT STAMP
A method and system is disclosed in which information related to an orientation or motion pattern of a mobile device system is detected. A determination is made whether the orientation information detected corresponds to a predetermined motion pattern or orientation for collecting event stamp information. The event stamp information may include a location and/or other event information. If the detected orientation and/or motion patterns is detected, the event stamp information is automatically collected in response to the determination, and the event stamp information is is at least temporarily stored.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING FOR DISPLAY RECOMMENDATIONS THAT ARE TEMPORALLY RELEVANT TO ACTIVITIES OF A USER AND ARE CONTEXTUALLY RELEVANT TO A PORTION OF A MEDIA ASSET THAT THE USER IS CONSUMING
Systems and methods are provided herein for displaying recommendations that are temporally relevant to activities of a user and are contextually relevant to a portion of viewed media. This may be accomplished by a media guidance application identifying activities a user has planned, as well as respective times for which each of the plurality of activities was planned to be performed by the user. The media guidance application may filter the activities by determining which of the first plurality of activities has a corresponding respective time that is within a threshold period of time. The media guidance application may then identify characteristics of each filtered activity and of a media asset that the user is consuming at the present moment, and may compute whether the characteristics match. If the characteristics match, the media guidance application may generate for display a recommendation relating to the respective activity.
