The present application discloses a method and apparatus for guiding a voice-packet recording function, a device and a computer storage medium, and relates to the field of big data. An implementation includes identifying a target user with a voice-packet recording demand using historical map usage behaviors of map users; and identifying a scenario where the target user uses a client terminal, and if the scenario conforms to a voice-packet recording scenario, sending first guidance information of the voice-packet recording function to the client terminal. With the present application, accurate guidance of the voice-packet recording function is realized, and excessive disturbance in the user is reduced.

Concepts for generating navigation instructions for a driver of a vehicle are presented. One example, includes obtaining a current location of the vehicle, a route for the vehicle from the current location to a target destination, and a captured image of the surrounding environment of the vehicle, the image having a field of view comprising at least part of a field of view of the driver. An object is identified in the captured image. Navigation instructions for the driver are generated based on the current location of the vehicle, the route for the vehicle and the object identified in the captured image.

A computer implemented method for guiding traffic participants, especially pedestrians, especially visually impaired and blind people, especially for guiding in urban environments, between at least two places wherein the method contains the following steps: A. Providing a multi-modal three-dimensional map; B. Calculating a route based on the multi-modal three-dimensional map connecting the at least two places over at least one intermediate waypoint; C. Determining precise location of the traffic participant, preferably by using the multi-modal three-dimensional map; and D. Setting beacons along the path at the waypoints.

A method and an apparatus for controlling interaction between a vehicle and a vehicle-mounted device are provided according to embodiments of the disclosure. The method includes: determining whether the vehicle is in a parking state; acquiring input operation information of a user, in response to determining the vehicle being in the parking state; determining whether there is as operation matching the input operation information based on the input operation information; and sending control information for executing the operation to the vehicle-mounted device, in response to determining there being the operation matching the input operation information. The information processing terminal includes: a position information acquiring unit configured to acquire a current position of the user; and a generation unit configured to generate audio data which is used for the audio output unit to output audio guidance for a route to a destination to which the user moves from a direction of the destination relative to the direction of the head of the user on the basis of a relationship among position information of the destination, the current position of the user, and information on the direction of the head of the user.

A route navigation apparatus comprises: an output device configured to output music information, in an audible form, to a user; a memory; and at least one processor or circuit which functions as: a selection unit configured to select predetermined music information in accordance with an operation that has been made by the user with respect to the output music information; and a provision unit configured to provide a route corresponding to the selected predetermined music information to the user.

Systems and methods are disclosed herein for selecting alternate routes with fewer directions during vehicle navigation. The disclosed techniques herein determine directions from route data and direction timestamps for each of the directions. For each direction, a corresponding media asset from media assets in a playlist having a media asset duration that matches a direction duration is determined. The direction duration is the time difference between the direction timestamp and a subsequent direction timestamp.

Systems and methods for providing a navigation system for impaired travelers. The system includes a traveler device having a navigation application stored thereon. The navigation application is configured to receive route information, via the traveler device. The navigation application further identifies a route and a location of a location module along the route. The navigation application further determines a delivery means based on an additional selection, wherein the delivery means includes at least one accommodation associated with the additional selection. The navigation application also generates an accommodation means based on the route and the additional selection, wherein the accommodation means defines a path along the route. Additionally, the navigation application provides the accommodation means for navigation guidance along the path via the delivery means.
