Superimposed image display device, superimposed image drawing method, and computer program
A guide object for proposing a guide target point is displayed when there is a guide target point that is to be proposed, ahead of a vehicle in a traveling direction. In contrast, when displaying the guide object, the guide object is displayed in a form in which an occupant visually recognizes the guide object with a relative position of the guide object with respect to the vehicle fixed, when a distance from the vehicle to the guide target point is equal to or more than a threshold. Further, the guide object is displayed in a form in which the occupant visually recognizes the guide object as being superimposed with a relative position of the guide object with respect to the guide target point fixed, when the distance from the vehicle to the guide target point is less than the threshold.
VEHICLE POSITIONING METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FIXED PARKING SCENARIO
The disclosure relates to a vehicle positioning method and system for a fixed parking scenario. The method includes: a marker detection step of detecting markers and identifying a pair of markers; a pose matching step of performing pose matching based on vehicle position information and the pair of markers; a non-pose matching step of performing non-pose matching based on the pair of markers, to obtain latest vehicle position information; and a position update step of updating current vehicle position information based on the latest vehicle position information obtained in the pose matching step or the non-pose matching step.
Horizontal position determination for displaying virtual objects in a head-up display
A head-up display and a method for operating a head-up display for a motor vehicle. Virtual objects may be assigned to parts of the environment of the motor vehicle, where a virtual reference feature is obtained, the orientation of which is defined on the basis of a roadway that is or can be used by a vehicle. An orientation of the motor vehicle may be determined in relation to the virtual reference feature. A virtual object may be displayed when the part of the environment to which it is assigned lies within a field of view for the head-up display, wherein a horizontal position of the object that is displayed is defined in the field of view on the basis of the relative orientation to the virtual reference feature.
Overlaying additional information on a display unit
A method for calculating an overlay of additional information for a display on a display unit, in particular, a head-up display of a transportation vehicle or data glasses. The overlay of additional information supports the driver in the longitudinal control of a transportation vehicle. The position of an upcoming waypoint is detected, which is specified by the navigation system. When the observer transportation vehicle approaches the waypoint, an animation graphic is calculated, wherein the animation graphic has a grid shape. The animation graphic is calculated so that distance markers are inserted from the observer transportation vehicle to the waypoint, which permit estimation of the distance to the waypoint.
Generating navigation instructions based on digital map context
In order to determine navigation instructions, a mapping server can use digital map data, which can include a set of intersections connected by road segments. In some cases, the mapping server generates navigation guidance data for one or more intersections of digital map data. Responsive to a request for navigation instructions from a client device, the mapping server can generate a navigation route between an origin and destination location, and a corresponding set of navigation instructions can be generated based on the navigation route. In some implementations, the generated navigation instructions are then modified to clarify or otherwise improve the quality of the navigation instructions. Finally, the finalized navigation instructions can be sent to a client device for display to the requesting user.
UNCONTROLLED INTERSECTION DETECTION AND WARNING SYSTEM
Systems and methods are directed to detecting uncontrolled intersections and providing warnings. In response to a navigation request from a user device, the system generates a navigation route using integrated map data, whereby the integrated map data includes indications of uncontrolled intersections that comprise intersections where at least some of the traffic is not required to stop. The system causes presentation of the navigation route in a user interface on the user device and monitors navigation of a vehicle associated with the user device along the navigation route. If the system detects that the vehicle is approaching an uncontrolled intersection based on the monitoring and the integrated map data, the system causes presentation of a warning indicating the uncontrolled intersection in the user interface.
DRIVING ASSISTANCE DEVICE, DRIVING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A driving assistance device includes: a processor configured to acquire moving body information indicating information of a moving body, and corner information indicating information of a corner of a road where the moving body travels, and output assistance information that assists traveling of the moving body by controlling a light emission mode of a display unit located in a steering direction at the corner on a basis of the moving body information and the corner information.
Augmented reality guidance interface
Example embodiments described herein therefore relate to an AR guidance system to perform operations that include: detecting a client device at a location within a geo-fenced area, wherein the geo-fenced area may include within it, a destination of interest; determining a route to the destination of interest from the location of the client device within the geo-fenced area; causing display of a presentation of an environment within an AR interface at the client device; detecting a display of real-world signage within the presentation of the environment; generating a media item in response to the detecting the display of the signage within the presentation of the environment, wherein the media item is based on the route to the destination of interest; and causing display of the media item within the AR interface based on the position of the signage within the presentation of the environment.
Systems and methods of determining locations of medical devices relative to wearable devices
According to some aspects, a wearable device is provided. The wearable device includes a memory, one or more antennas, one or more processors coupled with the memory and the one or more antennas, a location manager component executable by the one or more processors and configured to determine a location of the wearable device, and a direction manager component executable by the one or more processors. The direction manager component may be configured to receive, via the one or more antennas, information descriptive of a location of the medical device, determine a path between the location of the wearable device and the location of the medical device, and provide information descriptive of the path.
Method for operating a navigation system
The invention relates to a method for operating a navigation system. A route is first ascertained from a starting location to a target location using digital map data. At least one intersection point of the route ascertained in this manner is selected, and a database entry linked to said intersection point is read out. Read-out maneuvering information is used in order to ascertain a maneuver to be performed at the selected intersection point and in order to lastly output a navigation instruction corresponding to the ascertained maneuver. The invention additionally relates to a navigation system which is designed to perform the method, to a vehicle comprising the navigation system, and to a method for storing maneuvering information.
