PERSONALIZED DRIVER COACHING
A method and system for automatically generating driver coaching messages that reflect the driver's immediate past 2 week's performance along related to actual vehicle performance during that same period utilizing actual coaching messages previously evaluated and stored.
Presenting Suggested Routes Based on Local Route Ranking
In some implementations, a computing device can proactively determine a destination and request traffic information for routes from a starting location to the destination. In some implementations, a computing device can identify some routes between a starting location and a destination as non-recommended routes and recommend other routes. In some implementations, a computing device can rank routes between a starting location and a destination based on automatically-determined user interest. In some implementations, a computing device can determine a user is familiar with a route and adjust the information presented to the user about the route accordingly.
Apparatus and method for detecting objects and navigation
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a process by which first data is received from a mobile device regarding first objects detected by the mobile device in an area, the first data having been collected by the mobile device at a number of first collection points while moving along a first path from an initial position in the area to a boundary of the area. The first data is aggregated with second data previously collected regarding second objects in the area, the second data having been collected at a number of second collection points along a second path different from the first path. The second data includes a position indicator for each of the second objects indexed by the initial position. A map of the area is generated based on the aggregating and the map is transmitted to the mobile device. Other embodiments are disclosed.
In-vehicle device, information processing device, information processing system, control method for in-vehicle device, information processing method, and recording medium
An in-vehicle device that is connected to an image pickup device and that is utilized by a first user, the in-vehicle device includes: a location information transmission unit configured to transmit first location information indicating a location of the in-vehicle device to an information processing device; a visit history receiving unit configured to receive visit history information of a second user, the visit history information being acquired by the information processing device based on preference information of the first user indicating a preference of the first user; and an image pickup control unit configured to cause the image pickup device to acquire an image based on a result of comparison between a first location indicated by the first location information and a second location indicated by second location information about a visited place which is visited by the second user included in the visit history information.
Apparatuses, systems, and methods for graphical progress interfaces for dynamic transportation networks
The disclosed computer-implemented method may include receiving, by a transportation requestor device, progress information that indicates progress of a transportation provider toward a request location, presenting, via a graphical user interface of the transportation requestor device, the progress of the transportation provider toward the request location with a graphical representation of the transportation provider according to the progress information, receiving, by the transportation requestor device, contextual information from a server that explains the progress of the transportation provider as indicated by the progress information, and changing, via the graphical user interface of the transportation requestor device, the graphical representation of the transportation provider with a graphical representation of the contextual information. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are disclosed.
System and method for providing content to a user based on a predicted route identified from audio or images
Embodiments are directed towards providing a system that presents content to a user of a vehicle based on where the vehicle is going. A microphone captures audio signals within the vehicle, which are analyzed for route information. These audible commands may be said by a person in the vehicle, such as a passenger telling the driver where to turn, or they may be received from a mobile computing device, such as a smartphone executing a map application that is providing audible directions. An anticipated route of the vehicle is determined based on the audible route information. Content is selected and presented to the user of the vehicle based on the anticipated route. Images of a display screen of the mobile computing device may also be analyzed to identify the route information.
ERRAND PLOTTER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A system and method for an errand plotter considers user criteria to generate an optimized errand plot for an errand involving one or more tasks at one or more locations. A computing device obtains a plurality of tasks input by a user. Each task has an associated location and associated user criteria. User criteria associated with each task is analyzed to determine which tasks of the plurality of tasks have a temperature sensitive attribute or a user defined urgency attribute. A task sequence is determined by arranging the tasks of the plurality of tasks that have user defined urgency attribute first, tasks of the plurality of tasks that have a temperature sensitive attribute last, and the remaining tasks of the plurality of tasks therebetween. The computing device generates an errand plot based on the determined task sequence.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING LOCALIZATION AND NAVIGATION SERVICES
A system may be configured to indicate a path for a user in a closed environment. Some embodiments may: determine a location of a user by walking down an error surface, until reaching a minimum, the error surface having a length represented by a brightness of a rendering; and indicate a path for the user to a nearest point of interest (POI) based on the determined location.
