NAVIGATION HANDLE FOR ATTACHMENT TO A HANDLEBAR PIPE
The invention relates to a navigation device, preferably for a two-wheeled vehicle, for attachment in a handlebar pipe, characterized in that the navigation device has at least the following components: at least one communication device for generating a haptic and/or acoustic ad-hoc navigation instruction for perception by a human user; and an insertion section, wherein the insertion section has a maximum external dimension, with the result that the insertion section can be introduced into a pipe. With the invention presented here, a user can be reliably navigated through traffic without visual contact.
VEHICLE SEAT WITH SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMMUNICATING NAVIGATION INSTRUCTIONS
A vehicle includes a navigation system outputting at least one route guidance instruction and a vehicle seat having a plurality of inflatable bladders therein and an inflation assembly for selectively inflating and deflating the bladders independently. A controller is in communication with the navigation system and with the vehicle seat to cause the inflation assembly to inflate and deflate selected ones of the bladders to indicate a component of the at least one route guidance instruction.
HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM
A head mounted display includes a plurality of vibrators disposed in a device main body which is attached to a head and includes a display unit that displays an image, and a control unit that individually controls the plurality of vibrators.
Computer-implemented method, wearable device, computer program and computer readable medium for assisting the movement of a visually impaired user
In a first aspect of the invention, it is claimed a computer-implemented method for assisting the movement of a visually impaired user by means of a wearable device 1, comprising the following steps: S1Acquiring data from the environment of the visually impaired user S2Fusing the acquired data, creating, repeatedly updating of a Live Map S3Determining, repeatedly updating and storing, of at least one navigation path together with associated navigation guiding instructions for the visually impaired user to navigate from the current position of the visually impaired user to a point of interest, repeatedly selecting one preferred navigation path from the at least one navigation path, and repeatedly sending to the visually impaired user the preferred navigation path, together with associated navigation guiding instructions.
Method, device and helmet for guiding the blind
A method for guiding the blind includes: determining a target direction; and controlling a mechanical device to shift its center of gravity toward the target direction according to the target direction; wherein the mechanical device comprises a balance weight, a connecting rod, and a rotating axis, the connecting rod is connected to the rotating axis, and the balance weight is located on the connecting rod.
NAVIGATION TERMINAL, NAVIGATION SYSTEM, WEARABLE TERMINAL, NAVIGATION METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A navigation terminal includes a communicator, an alerter, and a processor. The processor obtains destination information indicating a user's destination, obtains first location information indicating the location of the navigation terminal, starts navigation according to a route calculated based on the destination information and the first location information, obtains second location information indicating the location of the navigation terminal after starting the navigation, starts the alerter when the distance from the location indicated by the second location information to a predetermined spot on the route becomes smaller than or equal to the first distance, and causes the communicator to transmit a control signal to a wearable terminal of the user to vibrate a vibrator in the wearable terminal when the distance from the location indicated by the second location information to the predetermined spot becomes smaller than or equal to a second distance smaller than the first distance.
Intelligent Head-Mounted Apparatus and Control Method Thereof
An intelligent head-mounted apparatus, including: a head-mounted apparatus body; a communication element operable to receive navigation signals and a locating element operable to determine location information, both of which are disposed on the head-mounted apparatus body; and a controller disposed on the helmet apparatus body and operable to control at least one vibrating element based on the navigation signals and the location information; vibrating elements operable to vibrate under the control of the controller. The user of this apparatus can learn navigation information only by perceiving the vibration without being distracted by observing the navigation information, so that the safety of receiving navigation information during riding is improved. A control method of the intelligent head-mounted apparatus is further provided.
NAVIGATION DEVICE AND METHOD
A wearable tactile navigation device and method. The wearable tactile navigation device includes a tactile navigation actuator. The tactile navigation actuator includes a feedback contact and is configured to control the feedback contact based on a direction indication signal to generate a tactile signal having a direction indication. A direction indicated by the tactile signal substantially coincides with a suggested moving direction provided to a user of the wearable tactile navigation device.
Navigation assistance device
A processor may receive first sensor data associated with detected movement of a user in an environment. The processor may determine, using an AI model, based on the first sensor data, that the movement of the user is associated with a first object. The processor may retrieve sensory data associated with the first object from a repository. In some embodiments, the sensory data may include at least one of auditory, olfactory, and haptic data associated with historical user interactions with the first object. The processor may provide a first sensory signal to the user to indicate a location of the first object relative to a first location of the user.
System and Method for Providing Directions Haptically
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage devices for providing directions haptically such that sight and hearing can continue unimpeded. In one exemplary embodiment, a wearable device (such as earphones, ear rings, gloves, glasses, or other wearable objects) configured as disclosed herein receives directions to an intended destination for a user, the directions comprising a movement action and a distance to the movement action. The wearable device has multiple haptic output units and generates, through one of those units, a haptic output based on the directions. This allows the user to receive the directions through touch rather than looking at their mobile device or from audio.
