Information processing device, information processing method, and program for serving food and drink at appropriate times

An information processing device obtains information concerning a plurality of items of food and drink served to a passenger of a mobile body while the mobile body is moving from a start point to an end point of movement, generates information indicating timing of serving of each of the items of food and drink to the passenger, based on information indicating a period of time provided for allowing the passenger to see a viewing object from the mobile body while the mobile body is moving from the start point to the end point, and outputs the information indicating the timing.

Methods and systems for event initiated navigational assistance

Embodiments for providing navigation routes by one or more processors are described. An indication of a destination at a first location is received. A selection of a route initiating event is received. The route initiating event is detected. After the route initiating event is detected, a navigation route from a current location of a user to the destination is determined. No navigational guidance is provided to the user until the route initiating event is detected notwithstanding the user input the destination at the first location. An indication of the determined navigation route is generated thereafter.

A method, apparatus, and system for integrating a non-autonomous vehicle into a transit environment populated with autonomous vehicles. An autonomous vehicle network integration apparatus is disclosed which collects data over a wireless network regarding a vehicle's route and surroundings, including nearby fully and partially autonomous vehicles. The apparatus is configured to analyze data and dynamically determine a range of influence, within which it communicates with vehicles to suggest driver actions and inform self-driving vehicle behavior.

NAVIGATION DEVICE, SERVER, AND NAVIGATION METHOD

The output timing of the guidance information about a guide point in which the occurrence of a light irradiation state in which the driver of a vehicle feels dazzled is predicted is changed to a second timing earlier than a first timing predetermined for the guide point.

BIASING REROUTES TO A SET ROUTE

Systems and methods for biasing reroute to a user selected alternate route or a required route segment is provided. A network system receives an origin and a destination and determines a plurality of routes to navigate from the origin to the destination. The plurality of routes includes an optimal route and an alternate route. The network system receives, from a user device, a selection of the alternate route for navigation. The network system then monitors navigation of the alternate route by a user associated with the user device and detects deviation from the alternate route. In response to the detection, the network system determines a reroute by biasing to the alternate route over the optimal route. The reroute is then presented on the user device.

The invention is provided with: a turning determination unit 13 and an image reproducing unit 14. The turning determination unit 13 determines a section in which an automobile travels with turning, not travels straight, based on road-route information regarding a traveling route and a road on the traveling route. The image reproducing unit 14 displays a selected-virtual space image that is selected in advance in a straight section in which the automobile travels straight, and displays a turning-virtual space image for a view field turning in accordance with a turning pattern determined by a road shape and a traveling direction in a turning section, in the turning section in which the automobile travels with turning. When the automobile turns, a contradiction that occurs between information obtained by the brain through an experience of a user and information obtained by the brain through that the user views the turning-virtual space image displayed on an HMD 200 is reduced, and thus an occurrence that the autonomic nerves cause an abnormal phenomenon is suppressed.

Display system, display method, and storage medium

A display system includes: a display that displays an image; and a display controller that causes the display to display a first image resembling roads around a vehicle and a second image resembling a recommended lane determined on the basis of a route to a destination set by the vehicle among the roads around the vehicle. The display controller causes the display to display the second image and a third image guiding a course of the vehicle when the vehicle has reached a second position located a predetermined distance before a first position at which the vehicle has to make a turn in the route to the destination.

The disclosure provides a method for communicating a meeting point to a provider traveling along a route to meet a user at a destination. Near the destination specified for the route, the user may specify a meeting point, a point at which the user will be waiting for the provider. The meeting point may be different or the same as the destination. The meeting point is then communicated to the provider to help the provider find the user, upon approach to the destination.
