PARKING LOCATION CHECKING SYSTEM AND PARKING LOCATION CHECKING METHOD USING SAME
20170299400 · 2017-10-19 ·

Disclosed are a parking location checking system and a parking location checking method using the same, which can quickly and easily find a parking location even if a user who has parked a car in a parking lot does not remember the location of the parking section in which the car is parked, and can guide the user to the parking location and, simultaneously, even transmit various types of information or advertisement content to the user by executing the various type of information or advertisements through a smartphone. The parking location checking system and the parking location checking method using the same can quickly and easily find the parking section in which a car is parked just by allowing a smartphone to approach or come in contact with an NFC tag even if a user does not remember the location of the parking lot in which the user's car is parked, thereby remarkably improving the user's convenience and even creating additional profits by posting an advertisement therein while using the parking location checking system.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PREDICTING DRIVING CONDITIONS
20170284824 · 2017-10-05 ·

A method and system for providing a predicted driving condition to an electronic device associated with a current vehicle having a current vehicle characteristic. The method is executable on a server and comprises receiving an indication of the current vehicle approaching a road segment and the current vehicle characteristic; identifying a preceding vehicle which has a time of travel along the road segment before a current time, a time difference between the preceding vehicle time of travel and the current time being within a predetermined range, the preceding vehicle having a preceding vehicle characteristic; determining the predicted driving condition for the road segment, the predicted driving condition being based on the current vehicle characteristic and the preceding vehicle characteristic; and providing to the electronic device before the current vehicle reaches the road segment, the predicted driving condition for the current vehicle on the road segment.

DISPLAY APPARATUS AND VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME

A display apparatus, a vehicle including the same, includes a sensor unit configured to acquire vehicle periphery information, and an interface unit configured to acquire vehicle state information. The display apparatus also includes a display unit configured to display a first indicator indicating a target steering direction, a third indicator indicating a current steering state, and a second indicator displayed at a position between the first indicator and the third indicator. The display apparatus also includes a processor configured to determine the target steering direction based on the vehicle state information and the vehicle periphery information.

SERVER APPARATUS, INFORMATION SYSTEM, VEHICLE, MEDIUM, AND METHOD OF OPERATING INFORMATION SYSTEM

A server apparatus includes a communication interface and a controller configured to transmit/receive information to/from another apparatus using the communication interface, wherein the controller is configured to receive information on a route from a terminal apparatus, and transmit, to the terminal apparatus, an instruction that prohibits the terminal apparatus from outputting the information on the route when the route has a tendency to be confidential, and an instruction that permits the terminal apparatus to output the information on the route when the route does not have the tendency to be confidential.

VEHICLE, IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD
20170249789 · 2017-08-31 ·

A vehicle includes a detection unit configured to detect a state of the vehicle, a transmission unit configured to transmit information based on a result of the detection performed by the detection unit to an image display device, and a control unit configured to change information to be transmitted to the image display device when a power supply of the vehicle has changed from an on state to an off state.

Apparatus, method, computer program and user device for enabling control of a vehicle
09746339 · 2017-08-29 · ·

An apparatus, method and computer program wherein the method comprises: processing circuitry; and memory circuitry including computer program code; the memory circuitry and the computer program code configured to, with the processing circuitry, cause the apparatus at least to perform: identifying at least one user device associated with a user; enabling information indicative of an intended path of a vehicle to be provided to the at least one identified user device; determining whether or not the apparatus has received a notification that the user has acknowledged the information indicative of the intended path of the vehicle; and if the apparatus has not received the notification, enabling modification of the intended path of the vehicle.

Binaural navigation cues

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for providing binaural navigational cures. In one aspect, a method includes presenting audio media in a non-directional playback state that presents the audible media in an original format, iteratively determining a navigational heading relative to a current navigational course, the navigational heading indicative of a direction to face to proceed along a navigational route, and for each iteration, determining whether a change is required to the current navigational course based on the navigational heading. For each determination that a change is not required to the current navigational course, presenting the audio media in the non-directional playback state, and for each determination that a change is required to the current navigational course, changing the non-directional playback state to a directional playback state that presents the audible media in a modified format that is directional from the navigational heading.

REMOTE SENSING CALIBRATION, VALIDATION, AND SIGNATURE CHARACTERIZATION FROM UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS
20170219376 · 2017-08-03 ·

A method, computer program product and system where a processor(s) configures sensor(s) on an unmanned aircraft system, to capture data related to a surface of a defined geographic area. The processor(s) navigate the unmanned aircraft system in a repeatable defined travel path proximate to the defined geographic area, such that the sensor(s) capture surface data related to the defined geographic area during the navigating, wherein a position of the unmanned aircraft system in the travel path is within a satellite view geometry of a satellite. The processor(s) maintain the unmanned aircraft system at a distance from the surface at which atmosphere does not obscure the data and obtain the data collected by the sensor(s). The processor(s) compares the data collected by the sensor(s) to data collected by one or more instruments on the satellite related to the defined geographic area to determine is the instrument(s) of the satellite are calibrated.

Systems and methods for on-demand service

The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for operating an online on-demand service platform. The systems may perform the methods to: receive confirmation that a service provider has accepted a service request from a service requester; acquire feature information associated with the service provider; acquire surrounding information associated with the service provider; generate identification information of the service provider based on the feature information or the surrounding information for the service requester to identify the service provider; and transmit the identification information of the service provider to a requester terminal associated with the service requester.
