Multiple estimated times of arrival computation
Disclosed are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable media for generating estimated times of arrival for multiple stops along a route. A route management system provides for: accessing a route tracking report associated with a vehicle to identify a set of stops along a route; determining a current location of the vehicle; computing, based on a current location of the vehicle, a first estimated time of arrival (ETA) associated with a first stop of the set of stops and a second ETA associated with a second stop of the set of stops; and generating, for display, first and second identifiers of the first and second stops associated with the first and second ETAs of the first and second stops.
DYNAMIC MAP SYSTEM AND METHOD
The present disclosure relates to a computer system, configured to receive two or more instances of a first route object comprising a geotemporal attribute comprising geospatial and temporal data to define an instance of the first route object; map the two or more instances of the first route object on to digital map data to define respective first route vertices in the digital map; and receive user input defining an interval and applying the defined interval intermediate chronologically adjacent respective first route vertices to define first waypoints between the respective first route vertices.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING SIGNATURE AMBIENT SOUNDS AND MAPS THEREOF
Systems and methods are provided for generating signature ambient sounds and maps thereof to assist in navigation based on a start location, a destination location, start time and average walking speed. The maps are generated by concatenating two or more of the signature ambient sounds and two or more of voice based navigation guidance. The signature ambient sounds for up to all location coordinate pairs in a map, for up to all time ranges and for up to all walking speed ranges are generated and tagged to the corresponding location coordinate pair, the corresponding time range and the corresponding average walking speed. The signature ambient sounds are generated by applying digital signal processing techniques on ambient sounds recorded by client devices, that are filtered and outlier removed.
User interface
Embodiments are directed to a user interface for superimposingly displaying, on a map, a plurality of travel route patterns reflecting tendencies of movements of a moving object and a new travel route predicted using the plurality of travel route patterns. The plurality of travel route patterns being extracted in advance by analyzing traveling history data of the moving object and being displayed in different manners, according to a prediction probability between each of the plurality of travel route patterns and the new travel route.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES
A method is disclosed for generating routes in an area covered by an electronic map. The map comprises a plurality of segments representing navigable segments of a navigable network in the area covered by the electronic map. A main route from an origin to a destination is generated through the network in a manner which favours segments which are segments of a predefined sub-network. When the user commences travel, the method involves identifying a first decision point along the main route being travelled that is a decision point of the sub-network. An alternative route is generated between the decision point and the destination, in a method involving favouring segments of the sub-network, and in which the outgoing segment of the main route being travelled to the first decision point is blocked.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE, NAVIGATION METHOD, AND NAVIGATION CODE
In an aspect, an electronic device includes: a display unit configured to display a guide route to a destination; an operation part configured to receive an input of the destination; and a controller configured to simultaneously display a plurality of moving routes to the destination using a plurality of moving means on the display unit when the destination is input via the operation part. Specifically, the controller searches a route from a departure place to a destination for each of a plurality of predetermined moving means by a function provided from a route search unit of a navigation code. Then, the controller simultaneously displays the searched plurality of routes on the display unit by a function provided from a display controller of the navigation code.
VEHICLE CONTROL SYSTEM, VEHICLE CONTROL METHOD, AND VEHICLE CONTROL PROGRAM
A vehicle control system includes: an automated drive control unit that performs automated driving where at least one of speed control and steering control of a vehicle is performed automatically; a route guidance unit that decides a traveling route over which the vehicle will travel to a destination that has been set, and performs guidance to the decided traveling route; and a presentation unit that presents, to the passenger, at least one of an automated drive proportion that indicates the proportion of the traveling route to the destination where the automated driving can be performed, distance over which automated driving can be performed, predicted driving time over which automated driving can be performed, timing for performing the automated driving, and number of times of performing the automated driving.
Route guide device and route guide method
A route guide device includes a current position acquisition unit that acquires a current position, an input unit that inputs a destination, a route search unit that searches for a route from the current position to the destination, a level storage unit that stores a of user's learning level of road information, a route overview generation unit that generates entire route information for the entire route on the basis of the route found through the search and the learning level stored in the level storage unit, and a notification unit that notifies of the entire route information generated by the route overview generation unit.
System having automated route generation and optimization
A system is disclosed for managing waste services by a service vehicle. The system may have a locating device configured to generate a location signal indicative of a location of the service vehicle, a sensor configured to generate a service signal indicative of a waste service being performed by the service vehicle, an input device, and a processing unit in communication with the locating device, the sensor, and the input device. The processing unit may be configured to make a determination that the service vehicle has made a plurality of service stops based on the location and service signals, and to automatically generate at least one service route including the plurality of service stops. The processing unit may also be configured to display the at least one service route and the plurality of service stops on a map in at least one graphical user interface on the input device.
Systems and methods for generating electronic map displays with points-of-interest information based on reference locations
Methods and systems are provided for generating an electronic map display. In one implementation, a method is provided for receiving route information associated with a route having an origination point and a destination point, determining a location of a reference point along the route, assigning a spatial identifier to the reference point, searching for points of interest (POIs) in a search area associated with the spatial identifier, ranking, using a processor, the POIs based on distances of POIs from the location of the reference point, and providing POI information for an electronic map display, wherein the POI information is associated with one or more POIs and selected based on the ranking of the POIs.
