Stator having housing-integrated bus bars and internal cooling jacket
11482905 · 2022-10-25 · ·

An axial or radial flux electric motor or generator consisting of a housing, a stator assembly(s), and rotor(s) where the stator assembly and rotor are aligned with each other while allowing an air gap between the stator and rotor, with electromagnetic forces being applied between the two when the rotor rotates within the stator. Stator coils are connected by one or more conductive bus bars integrated into the motor housing where the stator coils are affixed to the bus bars to create individual stator phases. The stator assembly is enclosed within a cooling jacket where cooling channels flow a coolant media directly over the stator coils during operation. The flow of coolant is controlled by a set of permeable dividers that direct coolant over the surface area of the coil evenly.

Motor assembly and method for manufacturing the same

A motor assembly includes a rolling bearing installed on a rotation shaft between an impeller and a rotor to support a first support of the rotation shaft, and a motor housing having a stator. The motor housing has a gas bearing bracket for accommodating a second support of the rotation shaft disposed at a side opposite to the first support with respect to the rotor. The motor assembly includes a gas bearing assembly in the gas bearing bracket to support rotation of the second support of the rotation shaft. The gas bearing assembly includes a gas bearing for surrounding the second support. The gas bearing is spaced apart from the second support of the rotation shaft to define a gap therebetween when the rotation shaft rotates. The gas bearing assembly includes an elastic member interposed between the gas bearing bracket and the gas bearing to elastically support the gas bearing.

A method for producing a winding head support for a rotor of a rotating electric machine. To enable the production of even particularly large winding head supports in a simultaneously simple manner, it is provided that the winding head support is formed using an additive manufacturing process, in particular by wire arc buildup welding. Embodiments also relate to a winding head support.

ELECTRIC MACHINE STATOR TUBE

An example stator tube assembly includes a hollow body defining a cavity and having a longitudinal length and a radial thickness. The hollow body is configured to be disposed within a stator housing and to separate the cavity from a stator cavity within the stator housing. The hollow body comprises a first radial thickness along a first portion of its longitudinal length and a second radial thickness along a second portion of its longitudinal length, the second radial thickness being greater than the first radial thickness.

Motor and motor manufacturing method

A motor includes: a rotating shaft; a motor portion; a circuit board; a case having a circuit housing recess portion for housing the circuit board; and a cover made of a synthetic resin and sealing the opening portion of the circuit housing recess portion. The cover has an outer circumference rib and an inside rib. The outer circumference rib is located on the outer circumferential side from the opening end surface of the circuit housing recess portion and projects from the outer circumferential edge of the cover toward the front surface side of the cover and the rear surface side of the cover. The inside rib is located inside from the opening end surface and projects at least either on the front surface side of the cover or on the rear surface side of the cover.
