Heater and smoking device including the heater
The present application discloses a heater and a smoking set including the heater. The heater includes: a base, having an inner surface and an outer surface; an infrared radiation layer, formed on the surface of the base; the infrared radiation layer is configured to generate infrared rays and at least heat an aerosol-forming matrix by radiation; a heating body arranged at the periphery of the base, and used to receive electric power from a power supply to generate heat. The heating body is configured to transfer the heat to heat the infrared radiation layer to generate the infrared rays. According to the present application, the infrared radiation layer is heated up by the heating body so that the infrared radiation layer generates infrared radiation to heat the aerosol-forming matrix, thereby reducing the preheating time of the aerosol-forming matrix and improving the user experience.
STEERING WHEEL AND HEAT-CONDUCTING DEVICE
A steering wheel and a heat-conducting device are provided. The steering wheel includes a body, a handle, a heating device, an electronic control unit, a heat-conducting member and a base. The handle is adjacent to the body, and the heating device is disposed in the handle and receives a driving signal to generate heat accordingly. The electronic control unit is electrically connected to the heating device through a driving wire, and provides the driving signal to the heating device. The heat-conducting member forms a waste heat path, and the heat-conducting member and the heating device are located at different locations in the handle. The base is connected to the electronic control unit, collects waste heat from the electronic control unit, and is connected to the heat-conducting member through a heat dissipation wire to transfer the waste heat to the heat-conducting member.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING AN AEROSOL PROVISION APPARATUS AND AN AEROSOL PROVISION APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing an aerosol provision apparatus for heating smokable material to volatilize at least one component of the smokable material, and an aerosol provision apparatus, are described. The method includes providing a heater arrangement for heating smokable material contained in use within the apparatus, the heater arrangement including at least a first heating zone and a second heating zone for heating different portions of the smokable material, providing a temperature sensor for each of the first and second heating zones, each temperature sensor for providing temperature measurements to be used as input temperature measurements for a temperature control loop, the control loop for controlling the heater arrangement to heat its associated respective heating zone to a target temperature based on the input temperature measurements acquired by the associated temperature sensor, and positioning each temperature sensor in its associated heating zone at a respective position selected so that if the heating arrangement were to heat the first and second heating zones so that the temperature sensors measure the same pre-selected target temperature, a temperature gradient across the length of the heating zones between the temperature sensors
would be optimized as being substantially flat.
COATED GLAZING
A coated glazing useful for vehicles includes a first glass substrate and a heatable coating formed on the first glass substrate, the heatable coating including a partial deletion having a thickness thinner than a non-deleted portion of the heatable coating. The partial deletion of the heatable coating is formed in a differential heating area for variably heating the first glass substrate for deicing wiper park areas or any other heating desirable areas.
AIR DATA PROBE WITH INTEGRATED HEATER BORE AND FEATURES
A probe head of an air data probe includes a unitary body extending from a first end to a second end of the probe head and a rod heater. The body includes an inlet adjacent the first end of the probe head, an air passageway extending through the body from the inlet to the second end of the probe head, a water dam extending radially through the body such that the air passageway is redirected around the water dam, and a heater bore extending within the body. The rod heater is positioned within the heater bore.
Electric heaters with low drift resistance feedback
A heater system is provided. The system includes a resistive element with a temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR) of at least about 1,000 ppm such that the resistive element functions as a heater and as a temperature sensor and the resistive element is a material having greater than about 95% nickel. The system also includes a heater control module including a two-wire controller with a power control module that is configured to periodically compare a measured resistance value of the resistive element against a reference temperature to adjust for resistance drift over time during operation such that a temperature drift of the resistive element is less than about 1% over a temperature range of about 500° C.-1,000° C.
COATED GLAZING
A coated glazing useful for vehicles includes a first glass substrate, and a heatable coating formed on the first glass substrate, the heatable coating including at least one heatable layer, at least one dielectric layer, and at least one integrated portion of a heatable layer and a dielectric layer, wherein the integrated portion is formed in a differential heating area of the heatable coating, for variably heating the first glass substrate for deicing wiper park areas or any other heating desirable areas.

The present disclosure relates to systems, apparatuses, and methods for assembling cartridges for aerosol delivery devices. The cartridges may be assembled by transporting carriages between various substations at which parts are added to a base. In another assembly method, the base may be moved between a plurality of robots which direct the base downwardly into contact with components to couple the components therewith. An inspection system may inspect the cartridges at various stages of completion.
SELF-REGULATING DUAL HEATING LEVEL HEATING ELEMENT
A heater element having an electrically insulating substrate, a buss layer made of a conductive material, and a resistive layer that includes a first patch of a first resistive material. The first buss layer has a first buss and a second buss extending from terminals of the heater element to a heating area of the heater element. The first resistive material is applied in a first selected location in the heating area so as to provide electrical communication between the first buss and the second buss and to enable an electrical current to flow through the first resistive material. The resistive layer includes a second patch of a second resistive material. The second patch is applied in a second selected location in the heating area so as to provide electrical communication between the first buss and the second buss, the second selected location being different from the first selected location.
TRANSPARENT PANE WITH AN ELECTRICAL HEATING LAYER AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF
A transparent pane is described, having an electrical heating layer extending at least over part of the pane surface and divided into a main heating region and an additional heating region electrically insulated therefrom. The transparent pane has connection means, which can be electrically connected to a voltage source and which has at least a first collecting conductor and a second collecting conductor. The collecting conductors are each electrically connected to the heating layer in the main heating region in direct contact such that upon application of a supply voltage, a heating current flows across a heating field formed by the heating layer. The transparent pane has at least one electrical line heating element, which is arranged, at least in sections, in the additional heating region of the heating layer.
