A wound irrigation system includes a first fluid including an ion rich compound having free available ions; and a second fluid including an oxidation-reduction potential increasing compound, the second fluid housed separately from the first fluid. Mixing the first and second fluids in a charging area forms an ionically charged fluid with an oxidation-reduction potential higher than a wound site oxidation-potential. The ionically charged fluid increases antimicrobial activity of the wound upon application.

SPRAY CANISTER DEVICE

A spray canister device includes a canister containing a liquid product, a canister housing having an opening, a chassis element, and a tray slidably coupled to the chassis element. The canister includes an actuator cap and is positioned in the canister housing such that a nozzle of the actuator cap is positioned proximate the opening. The canister housing, and the canister positioned therein, may be engaged with the tray via at least one protruding member. Once engaged, the tray may be slidably moved along the chassis element between a retracted position and an extended position to facilitate relative movement between the canister and the canister housing to compress the actuator cap of the canister and spray the liquid product.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ACTIVE IRRIGATION OF AN OPHTHALMIC SURGICAL SITE
20200360594 · 2020-11-19 · ·

An active irrigation system for controlling delivery of irrigation fluid to a surgical site includes a chamber having at least one fluid port for introducing an irrigation fluid from a fluid source into the chamber and delivering the irrigation fluid to a surgical site. A variable pressure source is provided in fluid communication with the chamber and is configured to pressurize the chamber. A pressure sensor also in fluid communication with the chamber monitors the pressure within the chamber and a controller adjusts the variable pressure source to maintain the desired irrigation pressure within the chamber.

System and method for removal of earwax and particulates

In one example, we describe a method and apparatus for cleaning the ear canal of cerumen contaminants, dust, and particulates. That includes a handle and replaceable tips, a combination of a flared design and solid base plate attached to the bottom of the tips, limiting the excessive insertion of the tip into the deep area of ear canal that could contact eardrum, which can seriously damage the eardrum and hearing capabilities. The handle has a slot in the front in which a tip can snap into, and as the whole system is secured together, the user can operate the system by spinning the handle, using fingers, e.g., in a clockwise direction, as the user proceeds to insert the tip in the ear canal. Different variations are also presented here.

Trans Anal Irrigation Platform with Bed Module

A trans anal irrigation device that can be used on a bed. The device includes a rectal catheter connected to an irrigation fluid supply. A waste collection bag is also connected to the catheter. The catheter may be insertable in a seat attached to a fluid supply line. A valve in one of the catheter or seat selectably allows or prevents fluid communication between the catheter and a waste collection bag. The catheter may include an inflationless cuff made of a flexible material that permits it to be inserted in the rectum to prevent leakage around the exterior of the catheter.

Skin Treatment Device for Balancing pH Value of Skin

Various aspects of a skin treatment device and a method to cleanse and balance pH value of skin are disclosed herein. In accordance with an embodiment, the skin treatment device includes a nozzle to be directed into contact with the skin of a subject. A vacuum pump may be operably coupled to the nozzle for generating a suction force of the nozzle to evacuate impurities from the skin. A liquid replenishing assembly may be operably coupled to the nozzle for atomizing liquid at a pre-defined pH value. The liquid from the liquid replenishing assembly may pass into the nozzle based on the pre-defined pH value. The first control valve may be connected to an outlet of the vacuum pump and an outlet of the liquid replenishing assembly for communication with the nozzle.

WOUND IRRIGATION DEVICE

A wound irrigation device including a container with an opening along the outer surface of the container and a nozzle assembly coupled to the container and configured to selectively allow the liquid to exit the container when pressure is applied to the container.

An eyelid retractor and irrigation tool includes a handle portion defining a longitudinal first axis configured to be grasped by a user and a hook portion connected to the handle portion for retracting an eyelid. The hook portion of the tool includes: inwardly and outwardly facing walls, which are curved about a second axis, which is distinct from the first axis; an edge wall extending between the inwardly and outwardly facing walls; and an interior cavity defined by the walls. The tool further comprises at least one opening extending through the inwardly facing wall or the outwardly facing wall fluidly connected to the interior cavity and positioned such that fluid in the interior cavity passes through the at least one opening to irrigate portions of an eye including the eyelid.
