Golf Swing Training Aid
A training aid for use in developing putting mechanics is disclosed. The aid comprises a base that is placed on a practice putting surface. The base includes a guide rail shaped to describe two superimposed arcs that define the optimal 3-dimensional path for a putting stroke. The training aid includes a practice putter that has a notch in the base of the putter head that fits over the guide rail. The notch causes the putter head follow the path defined by the guide rail. Deviation from the optimal path results in friction between the notch and guide rail, which in turn provides tactile feedback to the user that they are off the optimal path. The device also includes features that allow for optimal placement of the golf ball relative to the intended line of the putt and marking to assist in gauging the distance the golf ball will travel.

Players of tournament games require a network for them to play with one another remotely. But, in order for play to occur simultaneously, players must be informed that a game is ongoing or underway. Similarly, if one player wishes another player to join, the one player must invite the other, by in part, informing the other player of the time and location of play as well as information specific to the game the one player is participating in or forming. Accordingly, a communication means is required to bring players together. A communication means for remote players does not exist for players of real-world games where players use physical instruments where game data is based at least in part on sensor-acquired data.
GOLF PUTTER
A golf putter head that can improve the golfer's ability by providing function features that create a consistent setup of putter head position in relation to the golf ball and golfer position in relation to the putter. Once the setup is consistent, further increase in the consistency of the golfer's stroke can be attained through building muscle memory. From the putter stroke, the hitting face can impart an accurate forward motion to the golf ball upon being stricken by the putter head. The putter can provide tactile feedback to the golfer during the golf swing while imparting a forward roll to the golf ball upon striking and can simplify the visual alignment of the putter head to the golf ball.

The system includes sport implements that include, but are not limited to, smart golf clubs, a golf ball receptacle and a golf club motion sensing device, all containing circuits with contact sensors and or motion sensors coupled with signal processing and radio frequency transmitter circuitry to wirelessly communicate game status and performance parameters to a remote receiver and computer. The computer then optionally displays important parameters such as proximity of a sports implement contact face to an object, the impact of a sports implement with a sports equipment item, wherein the contact force, contact time, impact location, face angle, spatial orientation of a sports implement in motion, and the subsequent energy, velocity, and trajectory of game projectile such as a golf ball. The sports implements can be further equipped with motion sensing devices, and its motion and swing trajectory is visually simulated on the computer display. Standard sport implements which include, but are not limited to, golf clubs may be retrofitted with the device sensors and associated electronic circuitry to convert such clubs into smart clubs for use with the system. The system employs specially developed computer software to process player performance data, control game play, communicate game information to players, generate and control visual simulations, and display player performance information.

Golf Putting Training Tool
A golf putter training tool having a putter mounting base on top of an artificial green connected through a slot to a linear putting guide located beneath the artificial green. A golfer engages putter mounting base with a golf club, which is held in place by a friction or interference fit next to or on a sponge-like or rubber-like material. Practice shots made on the tool are constrained to be linear back-and-forth by linear putting guide. This constraint helps the golfer develop muscle memory for correctly aiming a put. Putter mounting base has an alignment guide against which the face of the golf club rests, constraining the face of the golf club square to the ball when the golfer makes the stroke. This constraint helps of golfer develop muscle memory for hitting the ball squarely. The tool has accessories such as a gravity ball feed mechanism.
Method and System for Improving Golf Putting Accuracy Using a Birdie-Line Golf Glove and Straight-Edged Putter Grip
A method and system for improving the accuracy of putting a golf ball that includes a golf glove for use with a putter grip that has a straight edge, with the golf glove having a visual line alignment feature/illustration that allows a golfer to place his or her hand in a repeatable, proper position on the grip of the putter. The golf glove employed is devoid of any putter attachment feature, such as hook-and-loop fastener material on the glove or the golf grip and is further devoid of any indicia affixed to the back-hand portion of a glove that could be viewed as an alignment indicia, as it only complicates and confuses a golfer when putting. Preferred embodiments include a golf glove that includes a marking forming a straight line that diagonally crosses the palm portion of the glove such that, when worn by a wearer, provides the wearer with a visual indication of the proper gripping position of a golf putter, such putter having a grip that has at least one flat surface and an edge extending down the axial length of the grip that can be aligned with the visual indicator markings/line on the golf glove.
