The catholyte solution can be polymerized, and an optional separator can be used between the anolyte and the catholyte.

A high voltage aqueous battery includes a cathode comprising a cathode electroactive material, an anode comprising an anode electroactive material, a catholyte solution in contact with the cathode, and a polymerized anolyte solution in contact with the anode. The catholyte solution can be polymerized, and an optional separator can be used between the anolyte and the catholyte.

The present application relates to a secondary battery and an electrode member thereof. The electrode member includes an insulating substrate, a conducting layer and an active material layer. The conducting layer is provided on a surface of the insulating substrate, and the conducting layer includes a main portion and a protruding portion extending from the main portion, the main portion is coated with the active material layer, the protruding portion is not coated with the active material layer. The active material layer includes a first portion and a second portion, the first portion is positioned at an end of the active material layer away from the protruding portion, the second portion is positioned at a side of the first portion close to the protruding portion, and a thickness of the first portion is less than a thickness of the second portion.
LIQUID DETECTION SENSOR
Particularly, there is provided a liquid detection sensor in which a liquid contact area is formed integrally with a separator, and that improves detection accuracy with a small number of parts. A liquid detection sensor (1) according to the present invention includes a metal-air battery (2) formed by laminating a negative electrode sheet (3), a positive electrode sheet (5) and a separator (4) interposed between the negative electrode sheet (3) and the positive electrode sheet (5), and the separator (4) is formed wider than an area in which the positive electrode sheet (5) and the negative electrode sheet (3) overlap with the separator (4) interposed therebetween, and includes a liquid contact area (4′) exposed from at least one of the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet.

A liquid detection sensor (1) according to the present invention includes a metal-air battery (2) formed by laminating a negative electrode sheet (3), a positive electrode sheet (5) and a separator (4) interposed between the negative electrode sheet (3) and the positive electrode sheet (5), and the separator (4) is formed wider than an area in which the positive electrode sheet (5) and the negative electrode sheet (3) overlap with the separator (4) interposed therebetween, and includes a liquid contact area (4′) exposed from at least one of the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet.

Provided is a magnesium secondary battery including a positive electrode member 23 including at least a positive electrode active material layer 23B, a separator 24 disposed facing the positive electrode member 23, a negative electrode member 25 containing magnesium or a magnesium compound disposed facing the separator 24, and an electrolytic solution containing a magnesium salt. The positive electrode active material layer 23B includes magnesium sulfide having a zinc blende type crystal structure.

A secondary battery includes: a positive electrode current collector; a negative electrode current collector; a positive electrode electrolytic solution part provided so as to be in contact with the positive electrode current collector, the positive electrode electrolytic solution part containing a positive electrode electrolytic solution; and a negative electrode electrolytic solution part provided so as to be in contact with the negative electrode current collector, the negative electrode electrolytic solution part containing a negative electrode electrolytic solution. The positive electrode electrolytic solution contains a positive electrode active material, an electrolyte salt and a non-aqueous solvent containing a first solvent. The negative electrode electrolytic solution contains a negative electrode active material, an electrolyte salt and a non-aqueous solvent containing a second solvent. The second solvent is a solvent having a reduction potential that is lower than an eigenvalue depending on the negative electrode active material.
