Provided are a cleaner base containing a solid composition including a solid surfactant and a water-soluble polymer, a gel cleaning composition having a viscosity of greater than or equal to about 50 cPs including the cleaner base containing a solid composition and water, and a method for preparing the gel cleaning composition.
AQUEOUS COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATIONIC CELLULOSIC POLYMER, AN ANIONIC SURFACTANT COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE CATIONIC COUNTERION, A FATTY PHASE AND A PIGMENT
The present application relates to a composition comprising, notably in a physiologically acceptable medium: a. water; and b. at least one cellulosic cationic polymer (CP); and c. at least one anionic polymer (AP) chosen from methacrylic acid homopolymer salts; and d. at least one anionic surfactant comprising at least one cationic counterion; and e. a fatty phase; and f. at least one pigment; the weight ratio of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s)/the sum of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s) and of the total amount of anionic polymer(s) ranging from 40% to 80%, preferably from 60% to 70%; the weight ratio of the sum of the total amount of cellulosic cationic polymer(s) and of the total amount of anionic polymer(s)/the amount of water ranging from 5% to 20%. The invention also relates to a process for coating keratin materials, in particular the skin, notably the contour of the eyes, eyelashes or eyebrows, and keratin fibers, such as the eyelashes and/or the eyebrows, comprising a step of applying to said keratin materials at least one composition as defined above.
AQUEOUS SUNCARE FORMULATION
An aqueous suncare formulation is provided, including: a cosmetically acceptable aqueous carrier; a suncare active; and a sulfated crystalline cellulose SPF booster; wherein the sulfated crystalline cellulose SPF booster both boosts the SPF of the aqueous suncare formulation and thickens the aqueous suncare formulation.
COMPOSITION FOR REMINERALIZING TOOTH ENAMEL
The invention relates to dentistry, and more particularly to a novel agent in the form of a gel for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of conditions characterized by loss of minerals and salts front tooth enamel. The claimed agent, provided in gel foam, for the treatment and/or prophylaxis of conditions characterized by loss of minerals and salts from tooth enamel contains the following ingredients: 19 wt % glycerin, 10 wt % xylitol 2.3 wt % hydroxyethyl cellulose, 0.09 wt % guar gum, 1 5 wt % calcium glycerophosphate, 0.12 wt % magnesium chloride, 0.9 wt % non-ionic surfactant, 0.24 wt % preservative, 0.04 wt % flavouring agent, she remainder water. The claimed agent provides effective treatment and prophylaxis of the demineralization/hypomineralization of dental tissue, mild forms of fluorosis, and the adverse consequences thereof.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED DECONTAMINATION
Provided herein are compositions for removing and/or suppressing a hazardous material from an environment or from a body after an activity in athletic and recreational facilities. The hazardous material includes dusts or contaminants, including per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH), and heavy metals. Also disclosed are methods of preparing the compositions and methods for decontamination of a surface with the compositions.
Method for making composition for enamel regeneration
A method for making a composition for enamel regeneration proposes to encapsulate soluble calcium and phosphate salts within corresponding internal water phases in respective water-in-oil-in-water emulsions stabilized by solid particles, and add them to a toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash base. In this way, the soluble calcium and phosphate salts can be present stably in the toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash over a long period of time. When the toothpaste, enamel restoring gel or mouth wash of the present disclosure is used in oral cavity, the water-in-oil-in-water emulsions rapture under the effect of friction and pressing, releasing the soluble calcium and phosphate salts encapsulated within the corresponding internal water phases. As a result, the liquid in the user's oral cavity will contain high concentrations of calcium and phosphate ions, which can enhance the rate of enamel remineralization.
COSMETIC COMPOSITIONS COMPRISING CHITOSAN AND HYDROXYPROPYL METHYLCELLULOSE AND THEIR USE FOR IMPROVING HAIR STRENGTH AND RELATED PROPERTIES
Provided are hair treatment compositions comprising one or more polysaccharides and their use in improving hair strength.
TOPICAL COPPER TRIPEPTIDE COMPOSITION AND PROCESS OF PREPARATION
The present invention provides compositions of GHK-Cu/copper tripeptide to avoid first pass metabolism including transdermal patch compositions. The GHK-Cu/copper tripeptide is preferably in the form of a gel reservoir having polymer and one or more penetration enhancers. The transdermal compositions release GHK-Cu/copper tripeptide in various release patterns to allow 1-7 times delivery of GHK-Cu/copper tripeptide in a week. The transdermal compositions instantly achieve steady state in rats and the concentration is sustained over at least 12 hrs, preferably over 24 hrs.
