Process for preparing a powdered composition
The present disclosure relates to the field of delivery systems. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a process for preparing a powdered composition including granules. The granules include at least one active substance present in an encapsulated form and in a non-encapsulated form. They are obtained by drying a mixture including an aqueous phase of a water-soluble polymer, a Pickering emulsion including a non-encapsulated active substance and a microcapsule slurry including an encapsulated active substance that can differ or being the same as the non-encapsulated substance. The disclosure further relates to granules obtained by the process and to products containing them.
COMPOSITION BASED ON STYLING POWDER AND/OR SEBUM-ABSORBING POWDER AND AN ALUMINIUM SALT
A subject of the present invention is a composition comprising: a) at least one sebum-absorbing powder with a sebum uptake of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, and/or at least one styling powder; b) at least one aluminium salt other than the sebum-absorbing powders with a sebum uptake of greater than or equal to 35 ml/100 g, and/or than the styling powders; c) optionally a propellant. A subject of the present invention is also to a process for the thy-washing and cosmetic treatment of keratin materials, comprising a step of applying the composition to the hair.
MODIFIED POLYSACCHARIDES
Cationic and silicon substituents are introduced into polysaccharides thereby producing modified polysaccharides cationically substituted by quaternary ammonium groups and having a charge density of about 0.1 to about 2.5 meq/g, and further substituted by siliconate groups such that the modified polysaccharide has a silicon content of about 300 to about 5000 ppm. The modified polysaccharides have application in industrial, home care and personal care surface modifying formulations.
PEEL-OFF FILM-FORMING COSMETIC COMPOSITION
A film-forming cosmetic composition including, in an aqueous continuous phase, at least one legume starch having an amylose content greater than or equal to 30%, at least two plasticisers selected from polyols and water, it being understood that the polyols are present in a content ranging from 8 to 25% by weight, preferably from 10 to 20% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition. Also, the use of such a composition for forming, on keratin materials, a peel-off film.
Dry shampoo composition
The present technology provides a dry shampoo composition comprising clay, natural starches and a natural oil absorbent. Such dry shampoo compositions are highly absorbent, fine, light and resistant to clumping. In some embodiments, the dry shampoo compositions are useful as alternatives to conventional wet shampoo in methods for cleaning hair.
Photoelectric conversion device
A photoelectric conversion device includes: a wavelength converting region that absorbs ambient light to generate electrons and holes, and recombines the generated electrons and holes to generate monochromatic light; and a photoelectric conversion region that has a p-n junction or p-i-n junction, absorbs the monochromatic light generated in the wavelength converting region to generate electrons and holes, and separates and moves the electrons and holes generated by absorption of the monochromatic light. The wavelength converting region includes: a carrier generating region that generates the electrons and holes; a light emitting region that generates the monochromatic light; and a carrier selective transfer region that is disposed between the carrier generating region and the light emitting region and that, of the electrons and holes generated in the carrier generating region, moves those electrons and holes having specific energies difference there between to the light emitting region.
Compositions and methods for enhancing the topical application of a color cosmetic
A powder is disclosed including a first powder of core/shell particles having an average particle size of less than 1000 microns, each particle contains a liquid core that is substantially free of water that includes a polar liquid having a percent surface polarity of at least 24%; and a shell comprising hydrophobic particles and a second powder including a color cosmetic.
Method for Colouring Hair
A method for colouring hair. The method comprises the formation of a first plurality of coated hair fibre portions by applying a first composition to a first plurality of hair fibre portions and subsequently styling the hair. The first plurality of coated hair fibre portions is contacted with a second plurality of coated hair fibre portions but does not comprise the application of a solid barrier means in order to separate the first plurality of coated hair fibre portions from the second plurality of coated hair fibre portions. The composition comprises from about 0.2% to about 20% of viscosity-increasing agent and the viscosity-increasing agent is selected from the group consisting of: clays; polysaccharides; silicas; block copolymers of polypropylene oxide (PPO) and polyethylene oxide (PEO); and mixtures thereof. Also provided are a hair colouring composition being in ready to use form, the use of the composition, a developing formulation, and a process for creating a hair colouring composition.
Anhydrous composition including a lipophilic gelling agent, at least two different fillers and an oil phase
Anhydrous compositions including from 3% to 15% by weight of at least one lipophilic gelling agent, from 10% to 50% by weight of fillers including at least 5% by weight of a first filler and at least 5% by weight of a second filler different from the first; and from 40% to 85% by weight of at least one fatty phase are provided.
Aerosol device for dry-washing and treating the hair
The present invention relates to an aerosol device comprising: a container containing a cosmetic composition which comprises at least 6% by weight of one or more powders relative to the total weight of the composition, and a dispensing head comprising a body and an end part comprising at least two outlet orifices configured to allow spraying of the composition about a longitudinal axis of the end part in at least two different directions, the dispensing head comprising at least first and second chambers, through which the composition stream successively passes before it exits via the outlet orifices.
