MAGAZINE FLOOR PLATE
Magazine floor plates have a tubular body defining an elongated passage and having a lower end and an upper end, a floor plate element connected to the lower end, a follower movable within the elongated passage, a spring within the passage having a first end contacting the floor plate element, and having an opposed second end contacting and biasing the follower toward the upper end of the body. Downward force exerted by the spring on the floor plate element retains the floor plate element in an installed position relative to the lower end of the body. The floor plate element may have a width narrower than the elongated passage. The floor plate element may be connected to the lower end of the body by rails on the lower end of the body. The floor plate element may have an upward protrusion.
Rotary trimmer apparatus and related rotary head assembly
An apparatus and method are provided for removing a retained member from a rotary head assembly configured for attachment to a rotary power source. The rotary head assembly can be configured to permit quick and easy trimmer line insertion in order to resume operation of the apparatus as well as simple and efficient trimmer line removal when changing trimmer line.
Fluid container ship cap
A fluid container ship cap seals a plurality of fluid interconnects of a fluid container during one or both of shipping and storage. The fluid container ship cap includes an elastomeric seal having a plurality of fluidic sealing members to seal a corresponding plurality of fluid interconnects. The fluid container ship cap further includes a rigid shell to rotate the fluid container ship cap about an axis of rotation at a fulcrum provided by a first fluidic sealing member of the plurality of fluidic sealing members. The elastomeric seal is affixed to the rigid shell.
Ground engaging tool mechanical attachment
A connection assembly for mounting a ground engaging tool to earthmoving equipment includes a body into which is received a resilient member, a force applying member, a locking member with an O-ring seal to be received in an annular channel around the locking member, a locking member stop received in a hole in the locking member, and a body stop to be fitted into an aperture under the body. The locking member stop prevents the force applying member from rotating within the body when the bolt is rotated and advances the piston by threaded engagement.
Apparatus and method for unpacking components in tape- and-reel
A device is provided for unpackaging components encased between a first tape body and a second tape body of a sealed tape. The device includes a component collection device including a cavity for receiving components falling out of the sealed tape being de-taped. A de-taping device is attached to the component collection device. The de-taping device includes a support base held over the cavity, and a shaft on one side of the support base. The support base with the shaft is configured to enable one of the first tape body and the second tape body to be extendable around the shaft and the support base and to be pullable, such that the first tape body and the second tape body are separated and the components fall out of the sealed tape. The support base may include a through-hole configured for sealed tapes to pass through and to be held.
Filter tool and related methods
A filter tool and method of removing a filter includes a socket head and a plurality of teeth. The socket head has a proximal end portion, a distal end portion, and an outer wall at least partially surrounding a longitudinal axis and defining a hollow configured to receive at least a portion of a housing of the filter. The plurality of teeth are configured to grip the housing of the filter and further define the hollow. The plurality of teeth are angularly positioned about the longitudinal axis and extend radially inward from the outer wall toward the longitudinal axis and further extend longitudinally toward the proximal end portion. The hollow thus narrows toward the proximal end portion for rotatably gripping the housing of the filter received therein and removing the filter from a filter mount.
