KNOWLEDGE DISCOVERY BASED ON BRAINWAVE RESPONSE TO EXTERNAL STIMULATION
Techniques are disclosed for detecting knowledge based on brainwave response to external stimulation. A subject can be exposed to stimuli and brainwave responses indicating a p-300 signal can be detected. Further stimuli or sequences of stimuli can be selected be presented to the subject based on the category correlated with the stimuli that indicate a p-300 response.
System for generating product recommendations using biometric data
Systems and methods for facilitating product preferences and/or product recommendations are disclosed. Biometric data of the subject are taken into account by the systems and methods in order to determine product preferences and/or product recommendations. Other factors of the subject, although optional, may be also taken into account while determining product preferences and/or product recommendations for a subject. These product preferences or recommendations can be presented to the subject, either automatically via a display device or with assistance from a product consultant. To obtain the biometric data, the subject will be exposed to a number of stimuli, such as fragrance/scent stimuli. Biometric data will then be collected from the subject based on her response to this fragrance/scent stimuli. In some examples, the collected biometric data relates to a subject's event-related potential (ERP)the measured brain response that is the direct result of a specific sensory, cognitive, or motor event.

Control device comprising detection unit configured to perform detection of brain wave and control method therefor
The present technology relates to a control device and a control method capable of providing a more convenient electroencephalogram input user interface. Provided is a control device including a detection unit configured to perform detection of a brain wave included in a measured biometric signal of a user and detection of a user action based on information other than the brain wave included in the biometric signal, and a processing unit configured to perform a predetermined process based on the brain wave in a case where the user action is a predetermined action. For example, the present technology can be applied to a measurement device capable of measuring a brain wave signal.
NEURAL RESPONSE HUMAN DETECTOR
Aspects provide human detector devices based on neuronal response, wherein the devices are configured to obtain electroencephalogram signals from an entity during a presentation of first sensory information to the entity, and compares the obtained electroencephalogram signals to each of a plurality of trained electroencephalogram signal profile portions that are labeled as the first sensory information that represent electroencephalogram signals most commonly generated by different persons as a function of presentation to the persons of sensory information corresponding to the first sensory information. Thus, the configured processor determines whether the entity is a human as a function of a strength of match of the obtained electroencephalogram signals to ones of the trained electroencephalogram signal profile portions labeled as first sensory information that have highest most-common weightings.
Systems and methods for evaluation of neuropathologies
Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for evaluating vulnerability, disease progression, and treatments in neuropathologies. In one aspect, a method to provide an assessment related to a neurological or neuropsychiatric disorder includes selecting a profile category indicative of one or more aspects of cognitive or sensory functions associated with a neurological or neuropsychiatric disorder, presenting a sequence of stimuli to a subject, in which the sequence of stimuli is based on the selected profile category, acquiring physiological signals of the subject before, during, and after the presenting of the sequence of stimuli to produce physiological data, and processing the physiological data to generate an information set including one or more quantitative values associated with the selected profile category.

Food taste simulation method and system
A food taste simulation method, applied in a food taste simulation system, comprising: determining food information of target food according to a food simulation trigger signal when receiving the food simulation trigger signal; determining airflow for simulating the taste of the target food according to the food information; and releasing the airflow through an airflow chip disposed in the oral cavity according to the airflow. The safety of food simulation is improved and the effect of food simulation is enriched in this method. A food taste simulation system is also provided.
System and method for associating music with brain-state data
A system and method may be provided for associating bio-signal data (e.g. EEG brain scan data) from at least one user with at least one music data item (e.g. song, or piece of music). By associating bio-signal data, or emotions determined therefrom, with music, the system may establish a data store of music associated with emotions. That database may then be leveraged upon determining that a user is feeling a particular emotion through an EEG scan. When a particular emotion is detected in EEG data of a user, the system may then respond based at least partly on the same or similar emotion being associated with one or more music data items in the system. For example, the system may recommend a particular song associated with the same emotion presently being experienced by the user.
MECHANISMS FOR CHEMICAL SENSE RESPONSE IN MIXED REALITY
Apparatus, systems, or methods for mixed reality with chemical sense response are disclosed herein. In embodiments, an apparatus for a mixed reality computing with chemical sense response may include monitor logic and distribution logic. The monitor logic may collect data about a user's response to a first set of stimulations to represent an actual chemical sense response by the user with respect to the first set of stimulations. Based on the collected data, a variance between the actual chemical sense response by the user with respect to the first set of stimulations, and a desired chemical sense response for the user with respect to the first set of stimulations may be determined. The distribution logic, including circuitry, may deliver to the user a second set of stimulations. Other embodiments may also be described and claimed.
