A method for treating cellulite on a patient's skin is provided. The method includes identifying at least one region of said patient's skin with cellulite. The method further includes generating at least one scar tissue in at least one tissue portion in said region of skin, thereby generating at least one septa-like scar tissue in said region of said patient's skin. The step of generating at least one septa-like scar tissue in said region of said patient's skin treats cellulite.

An electrosurgical apparatus is provided including a connector, a flexible shaft, and a distal tip. The connector may further be coupled to an electrosurgical generator and gas supply. The distal tip of the electrosurgical apparatus may be grasped by a grasping tool, such that the orientation and position of the distal tip relative to the shaft may be manipulated to achieve a plurality of positions. The electrosurgical apparatus provides electrosurgical energy and inert gas to an electrode within the distal tip of the electrosurgical apparatus to generate a plasma beam. In one aspect, the distal tip is configured as a sheath that is extendable and retractable over the electrode to expose the electrode when the sheath is in a first position and conceal or cover the electrode when the sheath is in a second position.

A device for providing a magnetic treatment by evoking muscle contraction by a time-varying magnetic field and providing a RF treatment by heating biological structure. The device includes an applicator having an RF electrode and a magnetic field generating device. The device may also include a main unit, a human machine interface, and a control unit. The control unit adjusts a signal provided to the RF electrode and creates an RF circuit, and also adjusts the signal provided to the magnetic field generating device and creates a magnetic circuit electrically insulated from the RF circuit. The RF circuit may include a power source and a power amplifier, and the magnetic circuit may include an energy storage to supply the magnetic field generating device with electric current.

Disclosed is a method for treating acne using a laser, and the method includes: positioning a handpiece on a skin surface where the acne is located; and irradiating a therapeutic light through the handpiece to denature some tissues beneath the acne.
