Tooth preparation guide device and method of preparing tooth for dental prosthesis
Dental preparation uses a tooth preparation guide custom-made liar fitting with teeth of a patient. The preparation guide includes one or more guide channels for guiding a cutting tool. The preparation guide enables modification of the teeth as planned with high level of precision. A dental prosthesis for installing onto prepared teeth of the patient is provided before preparation of the teeth. The prosthesis includes features that are complementary to the prepared teeth. The prosthesis can be installed immediately after preparing the teeth using the preparation guide. With the high level of accuracy and precision in the preparation of teeth, no modification of the prosthesis would be needed for installation.

An implant driver assembly for placing an implant according to a digital virtually planned implant and implant position in the jaw of a patient, wherein said implant driver assembly comprises at least an implant driver and at least a surgical template, wherein the implant driver having one or more first markers, and being adapted to be aligned with the surgical template, the surgical template having a guiding element and having one or more second markers, so that alignment of one or more first markers on the implant driver when connected to the implant and one or more second markers on the surgical template defines a spiral motion of the implant when it is being inserted in a jaw bone, the implant driver and surgical template also including at least one of the one or more first and at least one of the one or more second markers for indicating the implant driver's rotational or rotationally symmetric position as defined by the digital virtually planned implant position, whereby the guiding element is a bushing with a smooth bore; wherein the one or more first markers comprises a thread in or on an outer surface of the implant driver; wherein the one or more second markers comprises a thread follower for following the thread which is in or on the outer surface of the implant driver; wherein the thread follower comprises one or more pins that is/are removable or retractable from the guiding element of the surgical template.
UNIVERSAL KEYLESS GUIDED SURGERY SYSTEM
A depth stop for a drilling tool to form a hole of predetermined depth. The depth stop includes an interface portion that couples directly to the shank of the osteotome via interlocking spur and groove features. The interface has a cap flange and a tapered skirt. The underside of the cap flange establishes a reference surface for a tubular key that slides onto the tapered skirt and is held there by friction. The skirt is formed with a relief directly under the cap flange to facilitate haptic confirmation of proper connection. Elongated irrigation windows in the key expose a domed transition on the osteotome, thereby facilitating irrigation. The depth stop can be used, optionally, with an alignment jig designed with a precision guide bushing. The guide bushing is semi-cylindrical and terminates with an internal abutment step against which the lower end of the key engages at full depth.

By means of the composite guide plate provided in the present utility model, the defect of traditional methods whereby the repeated removal and fitting of retention pins and guide plates is required can be overcome. Moreover, all the guide plates can be printed with resin, thereby greatly reducing clinical medical costs and the medical costs of processing plants.

A system comprises an image capture device, an augmented reality (AR) display to display, and a processing device. The processing deice receives image data of a dental arch from the image capture device and processes the image data using a plurality of detection rules, where each detection rule detects one or more dental conditions. The processing device determines a dental condition for the dental arch based on the processing, determines a position of an area of interest on the dental arch, wherein the area of interest is associated with the dental condition, generates a visual overlay comprising an indication of the dental condition at the position of the area of interest, and outputs the visual overlay to the AR display, wherein the visual overlay is superimposed over a view of the dental arch on the AR display at the position of the area of interest.
TOOTH WHITENING METHOD
The present invention relates to a method for whitening teeth. The method for whitening teeth according to the present invention can promote the whitening activity of a tooth whitening agent and increase the degree of permeation of the whitening agent into the teeth, thereby obtaining an excellent whitening effect. The invention relates to a method for producing a positioning element for fixing a drilling template on a gingiva of a patient's jaw in a position relative to a jawbone of the jaw. The positioning element is configured to fix the drilling template, by means of pressure, which the patient applies to the positioning element by closing the jaw and an opposing jaw, in the position for making implant holes in the jaw for dental implants.
AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL FOR ILLUMINATION OF A FEATURE OF INTEREST
Various examples related to automatic light control for illumination of a feature of interest are presented. A lighting system can automatically track a feature of interest, and/or a target positioned in relation to a feature of interest, and position one or more light sources to maintain illumination of the feature of interest. The location of the target, or the feature of interest, can be tracked using images captured by an image capture device and the orientation of one or more light sources can be adjusted to direct beams of light at the feature of interest. The beams of light can produce substantially shadow free illumination of the feature of interest. The controller can automatically calibrate a light source based on identifiable features within a captured image to ensure accurate movement of the light sources when tracking the target or feature of interest in or near real time.

The oral irrigation/liquid delivery device provides flow controlled fluid to body areas specifically the mouth, or parts of body or other non-body areas via pump device or connection to water source through a wand handle with bulbous smooth head with multiple openings/orifices for the fluid to flow to ensure that no high-pressure jets result (unless within the design) and can be used in confined area; idea for irrigating or rinsing the mouth after jaw surgery or other situation where it is not possible or recommended to use a high-pressure “water pick” type of device; allows user who may have a problem sucking in water to rinse to have fluids safely delivered to mouth to clear and clean it; allows for the delivery of medicated and or other liquid delivery of water or any other liquid to rinse or even imbibe; said device could also deliver feeding fluids; optional connection via any pump or faucet diverter system to delivery fluids, including option to have a siphon mix of one solution along with another with the secondary solution being introduced to the flow as a result of the pump mechanism or a siphon mechanism based upon the flow of a fluid that is the primary solution. Optionally, a rubber or other suitable tube or hose may be connected between the wand and the tip/connecting point to the pump or fluid delivery device. The same device or its components could be incorporated into other devices such as water bottles or syringe ends.
