Fiber optic strip and cut tool
A fiber optic stripping and cutting apparatus comprising a tool housing and a stripping tool slidingly secured to the tool housing, the stripping tool having a pair of opposing stripping blades pivotable with respect to each other, each stripping blade having at least two teeth, the teeth on one stripping blade aligned with teeth on the opposite stripping blade. The fiber optic stripping and cutting apparatus includes a cutting tool removably secured to the tool housing, the cutting tool having a pair of opposing flat blades, each flat blade including a sharp edge. The stripping and cutting tools are each independently slideable from a retracted position within the housing to an extended position at least partially extending from the tool housing. The stripping tool and cutting tool may be removable from the tool housing.
ELECTRONIC PIPE AND TUBE CUTTING SYSTEM
An electronic pipe cutting system and methods of use are described herein. A drive cutting assembly contains one or more cutting wheels that rotate around a pipe. A drill is used to connect to a main shaft and one or more gears transfer and transform the energy of the drill into optimal motion of the cutting wheels. The present invention provides a low cost, compact and lightweight pipe cutting system in comparison to other electronic pipe cutting system.
BLADE-REPLACEABLE CUTTING TOOL
The present invention provides a blade-replaceable cutting tool, which includes: a first handheld portion and a second handheld portion; the second handheld portion is rotatably connected to the first handheld portion; and further includes a blade mounting plate and a blade, the blade mounting plate is rotatably mounted to the first handheld portion; the blade is detachably mounted to the blade mounting plate. Wherein, the blade mounting plate and the blade may be replaced with a ratchet blade which is detachably and rotatably mounted to the first handheld portion.
Pipe shears with a replaceable cutter blade
A pipe shears includes a base, a ratchet plate pivotally connected to the base, a cutter blade detachably mounted to the ratchet plate, a positioning member mounted between an elongated hole of the ratchet plate and a positioning groove of the cutter blade, and a push rod inserted in the base and stopped against a stop member. When the push rod is not pushed, it is positioned in the elongated hole of the ratchet plate and stopped against the positioning member to force the positioning member into engagement with the positioning groove of the cutter blade, and the cutter blade is not detachable at this time. When the push rod is pushed, the stop member is moved out of the elongated hole of the ratchet plate to unlock the positioning member from the positioning groove of the cutter blade for allowing removal of the cutter blade.
Jacket-stripping tool kits, methods of removing one or more external jacket layers, and blades
One aspect of the invention provides a jacket-stripping tool including: a reference stop adapted and configured to contact an end of corrugated stainless steel tubing; and one or more cutting blades arranged substantially perpendicular to a central axis of the tool and adapted and configured to create one or more cuts through one or more external jacket layers of the corrugated stainless steel tubing. At least one of the one or more cutting blades is positioned relative to the reference stop such that the at least one of the one or more cutting blades is a multiple of a distance between adjacent corrugation valleys of the corrugated stainless steel tubing.
TUBE SLITTER WITH OFF-AXIS HINGE
A tube jacket slitting tool including first and second opposite tool portions, each tool portion including a common hinged portion at a first end for engaging the opposite tool portion. The first and second opposite tool portions are foldable about the hinged portion between an open position and a closed position. The tool includes at least one concave surface extending across the width of forming an opening, when the first and second opposite tool portions are in the closed position, through which a tube may be slid. The tool includes a blade extending inward into the opening for slitting a depth of the tube jacket as it is moved with respect to the tool. The tool includes a hinge pivot axis in the hinged portion extending in a direction substantially in the direction of the width and at an acute angle to either the plane or to the longitudinal axis of the tube or cable in the opening formed by the at least one concave surface. When the first and second opposite tool portions are folded to the closed position with the tube or cable in the opening, movement of the tube or cable with respect to the tool causes the first and second opposite tool portions to be urged toward each other.
Tube cutter
A tube cutter includes a first clamp handle, a second clamp handle, a blade, and a holder. The first clamp handle includes an opening. The second clamp handle is pivotally connected with the first clamp handle. The blade is connected with the second clamp handle. The holder includes a first recess and at least one second recess, and the first recess has a width wider than that of the at least one second recess. The holder is movably connected with the first clamp handle to form a first state or a second state with respect to the first clamp handle. The first recess is located at the opening when in the first state and the second recess is located at the opening when in the second state.
Tube Cutter with Automatically Feeding Function and with Enhanced Torque
A tube cutter includes a main body, a holder slidably mounted on the main body, a guide bolt rotatably mounted on the main body and locked onto a lower portion of the holder to drive and move the holder forward or backward by rotation of the guide bolt, and a driving handle removably mounted on the guide bolt to drive and rotate the guide bolt, and to enhance the torque of the tube cutter.
Pipe cutter
A pipe cutter includes two bodies connected to each other to form a first room. Each body includes a passage. One of the two bodies has a second room. A torsion spring is located in the first room and includes a mounting member and a radial opening. A blade unit includes a pin, a blade, a movable member, a spring and an action member. When activating the action member to drive the movable member to compress the spring, the third contact portion and the second engaging portion of the movable member are disengaged from the groove and the first engaging portion of the pin, and the pin is not restricted and can be removed from the passage. The blade is not restricted by the pin and replaceable.
