Magnetic marker, and method for manufacturing magnetic marker
A sheet-shaped magnetic marker to be laid on a road surface so as to be able to be detected by a magnetic sensor attached to a vehicle to achieve assist for driving operation of the vehicle by a driver or control on a vehicle side to achieve automatic driving independently from operation of the driver has a magnet sheet (11) as a magnetism generation source and a wireless tag (2) which outputs information via wireless communication to the vehicle side. In the magnetic marker, the wireless tag (2) is interposed between a sheet (11A) and a sheet (11B) configuring the magnet sheet (11), and the entire wireless tag (2) is accommodated inside the magnet sheet (11).
High resolution elastomeric exterior laminate material and method of forming same
An elastomeric laminate material having resolution and image clarity includes an underlying ink graphic fabric material which is receptive to a SEBS like material, the underlying ink graphic fabric material layer having an image thereon having interstitial areas residing in the fabric and a SEBS like transparent polymeric material which is formed as a layer on the fabric layer and penetrating the interstitial areas in a manner to substantially remove all air therefrom and which is compressed and consolidated bonded to the ink graphic layer to form a substantially uniform laminate configuration and retain a transparent and elastic cushion characteristic through the exterior polymeric film layer enabling resolution and clarity of the image, wherein the exterior polymeric film layer imparts a nonslip tactile surface to the laminate.
Patient securement system for the surgical Trendelenburg position
A patient securing overlay is provided that includes a sheet of fabric for supporting a patient's torso on a surgical table. The sheet of fabric has an upper surface configured to face the patient and a lower surface configured to face a surgical table mattress or underbody support. The sheet of fabric includes friction enhancing elements applied to at least a portion of the upper surface thereof. The sheet of fabric can include an extension at a foot end of the sheet of fabric that provides material to be tucked under a foot end of the surgical table mattress or underbody support for securing the foot end of the sheet of fabric to the surgical table mattress or underbody support. The extension can include one or more friction enhancing elements.
White, conformable films for pressure-sensitive-labeling applications
A squeezable, white polypropylene film is disclosed having a novel balance of conformability, stiffness, modulus, opacity, and whiteness. The film includes an ABCBA structure having a core layer of polypropylene resin with an elastomeric copolymer and a cavitating agent. Two intermediate layers of polypropylene resin are present on either side, the intermediate layers optionally including an elastomeric copolymer and a pigmenting agent. Two polymer skin layers surround the two intermediate layers. The resins are co-extruded into a biaxially oriented film having a thickness between 40 to 70 pm for use in pressure-sensitive labeling applications.
Method to produce a thermoplastic wear resistant foil
A method to produce a wear resistant foil, including providing a first foil including a first thermoplastic material, applying wear resistant particles on the first foil, applying a second foil including a second thermoplastic material on the first foil, and adhering the first foil and the second foil to each other to form a wear resistant foil.
Process for manufacturing a nonwoven sheet material having an impermeable layer on one side and an anti-slip coating on the other side
Processes are disclosed for manufacturing a nonwoven sheet material having an impermeable layer on one side and an anti-slip coating on the other side. The process includes carding fibers with a common general orientation and forming a web and bonding the fibers into a nonwoven sheet material. An anti-slip coating is applied onto one surface of the material. A polymer is applied onto the other surface of the nonwoven material. The orientation of the fibers is maintained during the entire process.
BRAKE PAD FOR A DISK BRAKE SYSTEM AND DISK BRAKE SYSTEM
The application relates to a brake pad for a disk brake system and to a disk brake system. The proposed brake pad comprises a back plate having a front side for facing a brake disk of the disk brake system and a friction layer arranged on the front side of the back plate for contacting a friction surface of the brake disk. The brake pad further comprises an underlayer arranged between the front side of the back plate and the friction layer. The back plate comprises a recess. The underlayer extends into the recess of the back plate.
Method of shaping preform and method of molding composite material
A method of shaping a preform includes: laminating plural dry tape members each including a binder and fiber while partly heat-sealing the dry tape members with the binder to provisionally fasten each dry tape member to an adjacent dry tape member; bending the dry tape members having been provisionally fastened, along a bending line; and heat-sealing the dry tape members having been bent with the binder to manufacture a shaped dry preform. At the laminating, at least one of the followings is satisfied: (i) an amount of heat-sealing with the binder is changed in an area along the bending line, (ii) an amount of heat-sealing with the binder is different between portions adjacent to and on opposite sides of the area along the bending line, or (iii) an amount of heat-sealing with the binder is different between portions adjacent to each other at the bending line as a border.
PARTIALLY COMPRESSED CLEANING SUBSTRATE FOR MEDIA TRANSPORT DEVICE
This document describes cleaning tools, methods of manufacturing cleaning tools, and methods of using cleaning tools, for cleaning a media transport device. The cleaning tool may include a cleaning card comprising a first core layer, as well as a first cleaning layer attached to the first core layer. The first core layer and the first cleaning layer form (a) a cleaning element having a first thickness and in which the core layer is in a relaxed state, and (b) an intermediate area that has a second thickness that is less than the first thickness and in which the core layer is in a compressed state.
PRINTABLE SIGNAGE FOR TRAFFIC AND PEDESTRIAN AREAS
A graphic assembly, such as a floor or road surface sign for vehicle traffic and/or pedestrian traveled areas, is provided. The graphic assembly can include a polymeric substrate layer fixed to a fabric layer that is positioned between the polymeric substrate layer and an adhesive layer. Further, the graphic assembly can comprise a top surface that includes a plurality of surface enhancement particles embedded within a particle receptive layer that is adjacent to the polymeric substrate layer. The plurality of surface enhancement particles include reflective particles and anti-skid particles.
