Systems and methods for wine preservation

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to extracting the liquid from a container (such as a bottle of wine) using a needle adapted to pierce the closure of a container of liquid, dispense liquid from the container, and supply an inert gas to the container to help preserve the liquid.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR NITROGEN GAS INFUSED COLD BREW BEVERAGES
20180317524 · 2018-11-08 · ·

A dispenser of nitrogen gas infused cold brew beverages includes a product container, a nitrogenator, a mixing unit, and a dispensing unit. The nitrogenator receives water from a water source and nitrogen gas from a nitrogen gas source and infuses the nitrogen gas into the water to produce nitrogen gas infused water. The mixing unit receives product from a product container and nitrogen gas infused water from the nitrogenator. The mixing unit combines the product and the nitrogen gas infused water to induce a mixing thereof that creates a nitrogen gas infused beverage. The dispensing unit receives nitrogen gas infused beverage from the mixing unit. The dispensing unit chills the nitrogen gas infused beverage to produce a nitrogen gas infused cold brew beverage for dispensing therefrom.

PRESSURIZED GAS CONTAINER
20180283608 · 2018-10-04 ·

A pressurized gas container associates with and supplies gas to a pressurized gas port of an appliance, such as for supplying carbon dioxide for the preparation of a carbonated drink. The container has a plug at its opening that has a barrier element that seals the container and is configured to be non-reversibly ruptured by a shaft of a gas-channeling member. The plug also has one or more sealing elements that are distinct from the barrier element and are configured for forming a gas-tight association with the shaft of the gas-channeling member. A plurality of such pressurized containers may be carried by a holder rack in a multipack. An appliance adapted for preparing or dispensing carbonated drink includes an adapter for associating with such a pressurized carbon dioxide-containing canister and for receiving the pressurized carbon dioxide therefrom.
