TANK MADE OF RESIN
A tank made of resin capable of enhancing freedom of a tank shape and improving an ease of installation in a vehicle body. The tank, made of resin is provided with a tubular projection projecting to an inside and, an outside of a wall surface of a tank body that has a barrier layer, and an end edge part of the barrier layer is molded integrally with an outer peripheral resin part of the tubular projection.
Fuel vent connector, venting system having fuel vent connector, and method
A fuel vent connector includes a longitudinal axis and a flow path a long the longitudinal axis. The connector further includes a first portion pivotally supporting a plurality of fingers, each finger amongst the plurality of fingers having a latching head biased radially outwardly and configured to latch within a fuel vent opening. The connector further includes a second portion biased longitudinally away from the first portion with respect to the longitudinal axis. The flow path extends through the first and second portions, and longitudinal movement of the second portion towards the first portion moves the fingers radially inward.
Conduit mounting device
A device for mounting a conduit of a vapor canister on a vehicle includes a base having a first side and an opposing second side. The base includes fastener openings for receiving fasteners to attach the base to a frame. A connector extends from the first side of the base between the fastener openings for connecting the device to a conduit of a vapor canister. A pipe having an inlet extends from the second side of the base and forms an air passage from the inlet to the connector. The device may also include supports on the second side of the base for supporting the device on frame members with rounded or flat surfaces. The conduit mounting device can be installed by attaching the device on a frame member without the need for tools.
Pleated tank vent
The technology disclosed herein relates to a tank vent having a housing and a pleated, vapor-permeable microporous membrane. The housing defines a first vapor passageway configured for direct communication with a tank interior and a second vapor passageway configured for direct communication with the atmosphere. The housing also defines a tank mounting surface is mountable to a tank housing and a media mounting surface. The microporous membrane is sealed to the media mounting surface and defines a tubular structure such that the first vapor passageway and the second vapor passageway are in communication through the microporous membrane. Other embodiments including methods are also disclosed.
FUEL STORAGE DEVICE
A fuel storage device is adapted to be mounted to a vehicle, and has a tank, a pump, a fuel tube, a plurality of connecting tubes, and a vent hole. The tank has a top wall formed with a plurality of vent holes . At least one of the vent holes is arranged at a side of a first imaginary line which extends through a reference point of the top wall and which is perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and at least one of the remaining of the vent holes is arranged at an opposite side of the first imaginary line. The fuel tube is for passage of fuel from the pump. The connecting tubes are connected respectively to the vent holes, and the vent tube is adapted for communicating the connecting tubes with the external environment.
FUEL-VAPOR VALVE SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS THEREFOR
Provided is a roll over fuel-vapor valve is provided including a housing defining a valve having a valve inlet port extending through a wall of the housing and a valve outlet port and a float member disposed between the inlet port and the outlet port and being displaceable between an open position and a closed position the hosing further comprising a fluid flow channel extending along a top portion thereof and having a first end and a second end, wherein the outlet port extending into the channel such that in the open position fluid flow is facilitated between the valve inlet port and the channel.
MULTI-BOSS FLANGE
The present invention relates to a flange that includes a base region, a raised region, and a sloped region there between. The sloped region includes concave and convex curved regions positioned in a plane parallel to an elongate axis of the flange, and concave and convex curved regions positioned in a plane perpendicular to the elongate axis of the flange so as to reduce stress within and fatigue failures of the flange.
GAS VENTING PIPE
The invention relates to a gas venting pipe (10) for a vehicle (100) having a forward tiltable cab, which gas venting pipe comprises: a first pipe section (12) mountable to a chassis of the vehicle; a second pipe section (14) mountable to a rear wall of the forward tiltable cab of the vehicle; and a flexible magnet connection (16) adapted to releasably interconnect the first and second pipe sections. The present invention also relates to a liquefied gas driven vehicle (100) comprising a gas venting pipe, and to a method of venting gas from a liquefied gas driven vehicle.
Fuel storage assembly for a vehicle
A fuel storage assembly for a vehicle includes a fuel tank defining a fuel chamber, a fuel pump module and a vapor pressure detection system. The fuel pump module includes a flange engaged to the fuel tank and a fuel pump assembly supported by the flange and disposed in the fuel chamber. The vapor pressure detection system includes a vapor pressure sensor attached to the flange, a vapor pressure inlet device disposed in the fuel chamber, and a conduit communicating between the vapor pressure inlet device and the vapor pressure sensor.
