The output shaft is configured to rotate and cause the wiper arm with the coupled wiper blade to sweep across and clean the windshield. A sensor and a trigger are coupled to an actuator to ensure accurate sweep angle and parking position of the wiper arm and wiper blade.
Wiper device
A wiper device including a wiper member that includes a wiper arm to which a wiper blade is coupled, a base end portion of the wiper arm being supported by a support section provided at a vehicle, and the wiper member being configured to of undergo displacement relative to the vehicle, a drive wheel that is rotatably supported by the wiper member at a position of the wiper member which is separated from the support section, and that rolls across a running face provided at the vehicle so as to displace the wiper member relative to the vehicle, and a motor that is supported by the wiper member so as to undergo displacement together with the wiper member, and that drives rotation of the drive wheel.
Wiper linkage system
A wiper linkage system directly transmits rotating force of a motor to one wiper arm. The wiper linkage system includes: a gear housing installed on a wiper motor, a pipe rod installed on the gear housing, a crank arm installed on an output shaft of the wiper motor, a first wiper arm installed on a first end of the crank arm by a rotating shaft, a pivot housing assembled with the pipe rod, and a second wiper arm operated by a link structure including a link unit coupled to a second end of the crank arm and the pivot housing. In particular, a first end of the pipe rod is fixed to a vehicle body by a pipe mounting.
Apparatus for cleaning a surface
The apparatus for cleaning a surface comprises a housing for accommodating an object whose surface is to be cleaned, a wiper driving actuator adjacent the surface to be cleaned, the wiper driving actuator comprising an at least partially closed loop adapted to rotate about a longitudinal axis of the housing, and at least one wiper assembly operable by the wiper driving actuator to move along the at least partially closed loop and having a first end that is attached to the wiper driving actuator, the wiper assembly being movably mounted in the housing such that, in use, a constant distance is kept between the wiper assembly and the surface to be cleaned.
Method for operating a dual sweep angle and indexable wiper system
A windshield wiper assembly for a dual sweep angle and indexable wiper system is provided. The system includes a wiper motor and a wiper arm for sweeping a surface of a windshield coupled to a first eccentric, the first eccentric comprising a primary eccentric and an indexable eccentric plate, wherein the indexable eccentric plate determines an eccentric offset of the wiper arm coupled to the first eccentric. The system further includes an output wiper shaft coupled to the wiper arm, a second eccentric coupled to a cam shaft, and a link coupled to the first eccentric and the second eccentric, the link having a first effective link arm length between the first eccentric and the second eccentric for driving the first eccentric to operate the wiper arm when operated in a first direction.
Wiper system and a vehicle comprising such a wiper system
A wiper system (10), comprising a wiper arm (12) having a geometrical axis of rotation (x), a connecting arrangement (14) configured to connect the wiper arm to a motor-driven rotating shaft (100), wherein the connecting arrangement is configured to transfer the rotating motion of the shaft into a rotating motion of the wiper arm about said geometrical axis of rotation, a spring arrangement (24) configured to resiliently press the wiper arm against the connecting arrangement in the axial direction, and a tilting arrangement (30) configured to vary the inclination of the pressed wiper arm relative to said geometrical axis of rotation based on the rotational position of the wiper arm about said geometrical axis of rotation. There is also provided a vehicle comprising such a wiper arm system.
Toothed wheel for a gear motor of a window wiper
The invention relates to a toothed wheel (116) for a gear motor (10) of a window wiper, in particular of a motor vehicle, this wheel having a central member (120, 128) defining an axis of rotation A and two opposite substantially parallel faces, a first of said faces including an orifice (124) having an axis B and intended to receive a pin (26) of a linkage (38) of the gear motor, characterized in that it comprises, on said first face, abutment means (128a, 154a) in an axial direction and/or in a radial direction relative to axis A and means (128a, 154a, 152a) for guiding sliding in a circumferential direction about the axis A, said abutment and guide means being configured to cooperate with said pin during the assembly of the toothed wheel with the linkage in order to facilitate the insertion of the pin into the orifice.
WIPER SYSTEM AND A VEHICLE WITH SUCH A WIPER SYSTEM
The present invention proposes a wiper system being capable of ensuring wiping quality for the windshields with complex surfaces. The wiper system comprises: a wiper arm (19), on which a wiper blade (12) for cleaning a surface (16) of an object to be cleaned is provided; a first electrical motor (1) driving the wiper arm (19) to swing; a second electrical motor (9); a sensor (13) measuring a parameter representing the position of the wiper arm on the object to be cleaned; a control unit (7) receiving said parameter from said sensor (13) and utilizing said parameter to control the rotation angle of the an output shaft (18) of the second electrical motor (9), such that the output shaft (18) drives rotate the wiper blade (12) under control to change the rotation angle of the central plane of the wiper blade with respect to the wiper arm. The present invention also proposes a vehicle comprising said wiper system.
