TEXTILE FOR SUPPORTING HUMAN MOTOR ORGANS AND SUPPORTIVE THERMOPRINTING MATERIAL
The invention provides a textile comprising a supporting mechanism disposed on a surface of a fabric, having a printed layer and a layered elastic support; the elastic support is made of thermoplastic elastomer, and is connected with the printed layer; and a plurality of air-permeable elements disposed in the supporting mechanism. The textile of the invention can be made into wearables for a human body, and the supporting mechanism is capable of supporting human motor organs. The invention also provides a supportive thermoprinting material, a printed layer and a thermoplastic elastomer material layer are disposed on a surface of a substrate, and the printed layer and the thermoplastic elastomer material layer of the thermoprinting material are combined on a fabric to form the textile of the invention.
Article of clothing including a substrate material and a flocking material
An article of clothing is provided and includes a substrate material including an inner surface and an outer surface disposed on an opposite side of the substrate material than the inner surface. The substrate material forming a body-receiving portion and a limb-receiving portion extending from the body-receiving portion, whereby the body-receiving portion includes a first opening sized for circumscribing a neck of the wearer and the limb-receiving portion includes a second opening sized for circumscribing a limb of the wearer. A flocking material is arranged adjacent the inner surface of the substrate material proximate at least one of the first opening and the second opening.
SLIP RESISTANT HEADBAND
A headband includes a length of fabric material and, attached to its inside surface, a strip of polymeric closed-cell foam material to engage the forehead or hairline of a wearer. The polymeric material has a tread pattern to resist slippage on the forehead, even under heavy perspiration.
DEVICE FOR PROTECTING THE PLANTAR PADDING, IN PARTICULAR DURING A SPORTING ACTIVITY
A device protects the plantar padding of a foot, wherein: a cushion including a viscoelastic material, configured to be held against the skin of the plantar region, and covering all of the metatarsal heads and the metatarsophalangeal joints of the foot, and an elastic band attached to the cushion along two opposing transverse edges, and by a tab configured to pass between the big toe and the adjacent toe of the foot, the band having a width configured to entirely cover side bulges formed by the metatarsophalangeal joints of the small and big toes, wherein a portion of the band configured for contacting the top of the foot includes tacky elements on both sides thereof, thereby preventing the protective device from sliding on the skin when it is placed on the foot and inside a sock surrounding the foot.
MEDICAL SCRUBS
A garment for healthcare professionals has been provided comprising one or more articles of clothing, wherein the one or more articles of clothing comprise an internal lining. The one or more articles of clothing are made of a first fabric while the internal lining is made of a second fabric. The first fabric can be any of the fabrics known in the prior art to manufacture medical scrubs, such as cotton. The second fabric of the internal lining has thermal insulation properties, such as fleece. The first fabric and the second fabric might have elastic properties. Further, the second fabric could be less transparent than the first fabric. Additionally, at least one of the first fabric and the second fabric could be partially impermeable to fluids.
Activewear Garment
An activewear garment having facial opening formed on an anterior side of an upper head portion of the garment. An elastic securing band is attached to an interior rim of the facial opening, said elastic securing band being attached around the entire circumference of said facial opening. An adhering layer composed of one or more types of adhesive substances, including pressure sensitive adhesives, are applied to an interior side of the elastic securing band, such adhering layer being configured to releasably adhere to a user's facial skin, thereby preventing the full or partial dislodgement of such activewear garment during high contact athletic activities.
Swimsuit with tension bands and reinforcement liners
A swimsuit for competition swimming is contemplated as being formed with a network of tension bands disposed interior to the external surface of the swimsuit for storing energy and resisting motion, and with a plurality of reinforcement liners configured to complement the functionality of the network of tension bands while maintaining strength and flexibility in targeted locations while prevent intrusion of water from being retained within the components of the suit through a network of strategically positioned drains. The swimsuit may optimize the swimmer's swimming motion with reduced discomfort and without degrading prematurely due to wear.
Article of Apparel Including Fabric Having Auxetic Structure
An article of apparel includes at least one fabric panel including a first yarn having a first denier and a second yarn having a second denier. The first yarn forms an auxetic structure on the fabric panel comprising a pattern of interconnected segments defining cells, each cell having an interior area. The second yarn forms a fill portion extending between the interconnected segments of the auxetic structure and substantially fills the interior area of each cell.
Wearable blood flow occlusion device
A wearable device comprises a tourniquet configured to occlude blood flow in an artery of a wearer. The tourniquet comprises at least one base plate; two anchor points connected to one of the at least one base plate and configured to anchor a first end of one of two laces; a tunnel strap comprising two lace guides connected to a first end of the tunnel strap, each configured to guide one of the two laces; and a tightening mechanism connected to one of the at least one base plate and comprising a spool configured to accept a second end of each of the two laces, and a knob configured for manually winding a portion of at least one of the two laces onto the spool. The wearable device comprises a wearable item quick release connector connected to the tourniquet, and configured to removably connect to a wearable item.
Garment component and garment comprising the same
The present disclosure generally relates to a garment component for use in a garment. The garment component comprises: a liquid impermeable base layer; a liquid impermeable peripheral layer disposed along a periphery of the liquid impermeable base layer; and a space defined by the liquid impermeable base and peripheral layers. When the garment comprising the garment component is worn on a user, the garment forms a sealing engagement between the liquid impermeable peripheral layer and the user's skin, such that the liquid impermeable base and peripheral layers prevent liquid flow into and out of the space and the space collects bodily fluids from the user.
