HEADREST, A SEAT COMPRISING A HEADREST AND A METHOD OF ACTUATING A HEADREST
A headrest including a resilient headrest structure. The resilient headrest structure has a resilient headrest structure surface. The resilient headrest structure surface defines a non-planar contour, in particular an arcuate contour, when the resilient headrest structure is fixed between two points. The resilient headrest surface defines a planar contour when the resilient headrest structure is released. Due to the material properties of the resilient headrest structure, the resilient headrest structure surface automatically returns to the planar contour from the non-planar contour when the resilient headrest structure is released.
SIMULTANEOUSLY ROTATABLE AND TRANSLATABLE VEHICLE HEAD RESTRAINT
A vehicle head restraint assembly includes a base portion coupleable to a vehicle seat back, the base portion including a cross member portion. Also included is a head restraint operatively coupled to the cross member portion and rotatable about the cross member portion. Further included is a helical drive assembly for translating the head restraint during rotation of the head restraint.
HEADREST
The objective of the present invention is to provide a headrest that can have increased comfort and safety. This headrest is provided with: an affixed-side member provided to a headrest pillar; a mobile-side member that is joined to the affixed-side member with a mobile mechanism therebetween and that can move in the front-back direction with respect to the affixed-side member; and a front-back locking mechanism that has an engaged section and a lock member that engages the engaged section, and that locks and unlocks the movement of the mobile-side member in the front-back direction. Also, the mobile-side member has a front-side cover for supporting a head. Furthermore, the engaged section is attached to the back surface of the front-side cover.
Seating furniture with pivotable functional part
Seating furniture including a base body and a functional part which can pivot with respect to the base body, at least one pivot fitting for adjusting the functional part relative to the base body, and a separate lift setting mechanism. The functional part is connected to the base body by an adjusting lever. The pivot lever and the adjusting lever can be pivoted about a pivot axis with respect to one another. The adjusting lever can be moved with respect to the base body out of a lower position into an upper position and back. The steering lever can pivot with respect to the pivot lever and with respect to the control lever. The control lever can pivot with respect to the base body and/or to the adjusting lever and the control lever is connected to the adjusting lever.
Automatic support system for headrest
An automatic support system for headrest includes a first fastener, a connecting component, a driving rod, a first swinging component, a first sleeve component, and a linear drive device; The linear drive device is pivotally connected to the first fastener and has an output shaft that is capable of linearly sliding, a front end of the connecting component is pivotally connected to the first fastener, the output shaft of the linear drive device and one end of the driving rod are respectively pivotally connected to two spaced positions of a rear end of the connecting component, a front end of the first swinging component is pivotally connected to the first fastener, the other end of the driving rod is pivotally connected to a rear end of the first swinging component, and the first sleeve component is fixed to a headrest and set on the first swinging component detachably.
Wheelchair Accessible Salon Chairs
Systems and methods for accessible salon chairs in accordance with embodiments of the invention are disclosed. In one embodiment, an accessible salon chair is provided and comprises: a backrest; a rotatable base around a vertical axis; a set of rotatable armrests capable of being folded; a foldable seat that is connected to the backrest via at least one rotatable hinge, is capable of being folded and locked to accommodate the wheelchair; a platform comprising a flat surface and a base, is located below the foldable seat and capable of receiving and holding the wheelchair; a ramp connected to the platform and able to receive the wheelchair; and a pumping device connected to a bottom of the base of the platform capable of adjusting the height of the salon chair.

Head rest
A headrest with a lock urging member in which unintentional change in an urging direction will hardly occur is provided. The headrest includes a first member, a second member, a backward urging member, a lock plate, a lock urging member, a lock switching member, and a resistance member. The lock switching member is provided with a switching pin abutment portion A, a switching pin abutment portion B, and a switching cam abutment portion. The lock plate includes a switching cam abutted portion. In a lock adjustment range, the lock switching member is moved together with the second member by the resistance member configured to apply resistance to movement of the lock switching member with respect to the second member. In addition, in rotation further forward beyond a forward adjustment limit position, the switching abutment portion B abuts against the switching pin fixed to the first member, so that the lock switching member does not follow the second member, whereby the headrest is unlocked.
Seat device for vehicle
In a seat device for a vehicle, a dynamic damper comprises a damper case that is formed from first and second case halves joined together so as to be capable of separating from each other to define a damper chamber therebetween, a weight that is housed in the damper chamber, and an elastic member that is disposed between the weight and an inner face of the damper chamber so as to allow vibration of the weight, the damper case being provided with a mounting part that is mounted on a frame of the seat. Thus, it is possible to provide a seat device for a vehicle in which replacement of a weight and an elastic member in order to adjust or change the damping characteristics is possible, and the ease of mounting a damper case on a seat is good.
Headrest
A headrest has a pad that is formed integrally with an outer cover by foam molding, and is also provided with: a low-resilience layer that is set in a front part of the pad and has lower resilience than the pad; a support member that is harder than the pad and supports the low-resilience layer from a backside of the low-resilience layer; and a blocking member that is located at a position to cover a contact area of the low-resilience layer and the support member from an outer circumference side while being in contact with at least one of the low-resilience layer and the support member and blocks infiltration of a foamed resin material of the pad into the contact area.
