BAIL BAR DETECTION FOR A LAWNMOWER
A battery powered lawnmower having a blade motor coupled to at least one blade, a user input device configured to receive a blade motor control signal and a bail control bar. The bail control bar is coupled to a position sensor configured to determine a position of the bail control bar. The battery powered lawnmower further includes a controller coupled to the position sensor and configured to control an operation of the blade motor. The controller is configured to receive a blade motor control command and determine a position of the bail control bar based on data provided by the position sensor. The controller is further configured to, in response to determining that the bail control bar is in a closed position, control the blade motor based on the received blade motor control command.
ORIENTATION SENSING FOR A LAWNMOWER
A lawnmower may include an inertial measurement device configured to capture data indicative of an orientation of a housing of the lawnmower. The lawnmower may also include a controller coupled (i) to a motor configured to rotate one or more cutting blades and (ii) to the inertial measurement device. The controller may be configured to receive, from the inertial measurement device, the data indicative of the orientation of the housing. The controller may be further configured to determine a three-dimensional position of the housing based on the data. The three-dimensional position of the housing may indicate whether the orientation of the housing is desirable for operation of the lawnmower. The controller may be further configured to control the motor based on the three-dimensional position of the housing.
Bail driven stale fuel evacuation
A carburetor drain apparatus includes a carburetor bowl, a fuel supply pipe, a fuel drain pipe, and a bail interface. The carburetor bowl is configured to store fuel and provide the fuel to an air passage. The fuel supply pipe is connected a fuel tank and the carburetor bowl. The fuel drain pipe is connected to the carburetor bowl. The bail interface is configured to operate in response to actuation of a bail to open the fuel drain pipe.
Transmission for pedestrian-controlled wheeled vehicle and wheeled vehicle equipped with such a transmission
The invention relates to a transmission (2) for a wheeled vehicle, comprising a drive member (3), a rotatable driven member (5) in permanent engagement with the drive member (3), a wheel drive shaft and, disposed between the wheel drive shaft and the driven member (5), a clutch mechanism (8), comprising at least one axially movable part on the wheel drive shaft between a position separated from the driven member (5), corresponding to an activated state of the clutch mechanism (8), and a position close to the driven member (5), corresponding to a deactivated state of the clutch mechanism (8), which is activated by rotating the driven member (5) in a first direction of rotation, referred to as forward drive, and can be deactivated by rotating the driven member (5) in a second direction of rotation opposite to said first direction of rotation, referred to as reverse drive, said part (9) of the clutch mechanism (8) which, in the deactivated state of the clutch mechanism (8), is disposed in a position close to the driven member (5), is, in said position, limited in its axial movement in the direction of a separation from the driven member (5) in the reverse drive state of the driven member (5).
Gearbox and wheeled vehicle provided with such a gearbox
The invention relates to a gearbox (1) comprising: a gearbox body (1A) defining an enclosure (1B), an input shaft (2), an output shaft (3) and a mechanism (4) for transmitting the movement of the input shaft (2) to the output shaft (3), said mechanism (4) for transmitting movement comprising at least one clutch (5) and a clutch (5) control device, the clutch (5) comprising a driving element (6) and a driven element (7) mounted rotatably secured to the output shaft (3) and having its axial movement limited in at least one direction along the output shaft (3), and the clutch (5) control device comprising a member for controlling the movement of the driving element (6) and the driven element (7) towards one another to allow the clutch (5) to pass from the declutched position to the clutched position. The control member is formed by the gearbox body (1A) mounted to slide along the output shaft (3).
ELECTRIC TERRAIN WORKING VEHICLE WITH PARKING BRAKE
An electric terrain working vehicle having a parking brake actuated in response to an operator presence system detecting the presence of, or the absence of, an operator in relation to the electric terrain working vehicle. The operator presence system may send a signal to a controller and the controller may command the actuation of the parking brake between an engaged stated and a disengaged state.
Work machine
This work machine is provided with a clutch mechanism which is provided on a motive power transmission path between a drive source and a wheel. The clutch mechanism is provided with: a drive shaft with which drive force from the drive source is transmitted; a key member which is provided so as to be capable of moving relative to the drive shaft; a driven member which is driven by the drive shaft via the key member; an impelling member which impels the key member towards the driven member; and a ratchet holder which is provided with an engagement groove and a guide part, and which is provided so as to be capable of rotating coaxially with the drive shaft.
Parking brake system for stand-on terrain working vehicle
Aspects hereof relate to a stand-on terrain working vehicle having a foot-operated parking brake system. The parking brake system includes a pedal assembly having a first pedal and a second pedal, an actuator coupled to the pedal assembly, a brake configured to be actuated between a set/engaged state and a released/disengaged state, and an over-center linkage. When the first pedal of the pedal assembly is depressed, the brake is actuated to the set/engaged state, and when the second pedal of the pedal assembly is depressed, the brake is actuated to the released/disengaged state. The over-center linkage is configured to bias the brake towards one of the set/engaged state and the released/disengaged state.
ELECTRIC WORK MACHINE WITH CUTTING BLADE
The present invention includes: a cutting blade; an electric motor (5) that rotationally drives the cutting blade; a clutch that engages and disengages transmission of motive power between the electric motor (5) and the cutting blade; operation means for operating the clutch; and controller (30) for controlling operation of the electric motor (5). By means of the operation means, it is possible to switch between a state in which the clutch is disengaged in which motive power of the electric motor (5) is not transmitted to the cutting blade and a state in which the clutch is engaged and motive power of the electric motor (5) is transmitted to the cutting blade. By stopping energization of the electric motor (5) after a state in which the clutch is disengaged is released, and restarting the electric motor (5) after a prescribed time period elapses from the time of stopping rotation of the electric motor (5), the controller (30) stops rotation of the electric motor (5) during a period that includes a moment at which the clutch is engaged.
