Cutter blade of mower
A cutter blade for a mower is disposed inside a housing of the mower and rotatably driven about a vertical axis. The cutter blade includes a blade body a blade portion provided at least at a part of a rotational direction-wise front end portion of the blade body, and a wind generating portion provided at least at a part of a rotational direction-wise rear end portion of the blade body, the wind generating portion extending more upwards than the blade portion. A thickness of the wind generating portion at the rotational direction-wise rear end portion is smaller at least partially than a thickness of the remaining part of the wind generating portion.
A CUTTING LBADE AND A CUTTING ASSEMBLY
This specification describes improvements to cutting blades and a cutting blade assembly. In some forms the cutting blade includes an upturn with an upturn radial angle which is non-parallel to a reference axis.
Cutter blade and mower
A cutter blade for a mower includes a blade base part, a cutting part positioned further outward radially than the blade base part, a descending part formed between the blade base part and the cutting part, and a curved part formed so as to curve upward from the cutting part. The descending part and the curved part have an intersection part at which an end of the descending part in the counter-rotating direction and a radially inner end of the curved part intersect.
TRIMMER GUARD AND TRIMMER
Trimmer guards and trimmers are provided. A trimmer guard includes a body having a deck having an inner side adapted for connecting the trimmer guard to a trimmer; an outer side that is substantially arc-shaped. The body of the trimmer has a first edge and a second edge each arranged between the inner side and the outer side. The body further has a skirt extending from the outer side at an angle to the deck. The body includes a line cutter assembly on a bottom surface. When the trimmer guard is connected to a trimmer, the deck and the skirt together define a space for housing a rotary cutting tool of a cutting assembly of the trimmer. A plurality of baffles are formed on the body of the trimmer guard. The baffles are adapted to reduce noise generated by the trimmer during operation.
Mower deck insert
A mower deck insert includes a first cutting chamber, a second cutting chamber, and a discharge passage extending adjacent to the first cutting chamber and the second cutting chamber. The first cutting chamber includes a first axial scroll extending about a first vertical axis. The first axial scroll includes a first upper surface having a first start region and a first end region. The second cutting chamber includes a second axial scroll extending about a second vertical axis. The second axial scroll includes a second upper surface having a second start region and a second end region. The first start region is vertically lower than the first end region, and the second start region is vertically lower than the second end region.
Riding lawn mower
A riding lawn mower has an internal combustion engine and a muffler with a first housing. The internal combustion engine is connected to the muffler to supply exhaust gases originating from the internal combustion engine to the first housing of the muffler for noise damping of the exhaust gases. A second housing is provided that thermally insulates the first housing of the muffler. The second housing at least partially encloses the first housing of the muffler. The second housing has an exterior side with an emissivity of greater than 0.8.
Noise suppression system
A noise suppression system for an air-cooled internal combustion engine is disclosed. The system may include an acoustically designed shroud forming a cavity and configured for attenuating noise produced by a cooling air fan associated with the engine. In one system, the shroud is mountable on a housing of the air fan. A pair of air inlet passages may be provided which are operable to draw ambient cooling air into the shroud to the fan. The air inlet passages are acoustically configured and tuned to attenuate noise generated by the fan. In one system, the air inlet passages may each be formed in a rear quadrant of the shroud. Various configurations of the shroud may include quarter wave resonators and/or micro-perforated panels to further attenuate fan noise.
MOWER DECK INSERT
A mower comprises a deck comprising an underside cavity with a first interior profile; and a deck insert mounted within the underside cavity. The deck insert has a deck insert interior with a second interior profile different than the first interior profile.
LAWN MOWER
A lawn mower includes a housing with an opened bottom, a hollow shaft extending in a vertical direction of the housing and including a lower end positioned within the housing, a cutter blade, flaps provided for at least part of the cutter blade in a manner that the flaps have a flap angle changeable along a horizontal line, an actuator for outputting an output to control the flap angle of the flap, and a transmission mechanism accommodated in the hollow shaft for transmitting the output of the actuator to the flaps.
Vegetation cutting device
A vegetation cutting device comprising a housing rotatably coupled to a shaft; a cutting head comprising a rotary cutting device for cutting vegetation, the cutting head being coupled to the shaft and being arranged to move between an edging mode in which the rotary cutting device rotates in a substantially horizontal plane; a motor mounted in the housing, the motor being arranged to drive the rotary cutting device; and a switching device mechanically coupled between the housing and the shaft and arranged to be actuated when the shaft rotates relatives to the housing thereby changing the speed of the rotary cutting device when the cutting head moves between the edging mode and trimming mode.
