The blade is mounted in the blade receiving groove and arranged to be that the blade is not protruded out of the blade receiving groove in the axial direction of the disc body.

BAIL BAR DETECTION FOR A LAWNMOWER

A battery powered lawnmower having a blade motor coupled to at least one blade, a user input device configured to receive a blade motor control signal and a bail control bar. The bail control bar is coupled to a position sensor configured to determine a position of the bail control bar. The battery powered lawnmower further includes a controller coupled to the position sensor and configured to control an operation of the blade motor. The controller is configured to receive a blade motor control command and determine a position of the bail control bar based on data provided by the position sensor. The controller is further configured to, in response to determining that the bail control bar is in a closed position, control the blade motor based on the received blade motor control command.

LAWNMOWER INCLUDING ELECTROSTATIC DISCHARGE

A walk-behind lawnmower includes a housing including a metal chassis, a handle coupled to the housing by support beams, a battery pack interface configured to receive a battery pack, a motor housed within the housing, a plurality of wheels attached to the housing, one or more cutting blades configured to be driven by the motor, and a skirt coupled to the metal chassis of the housing. The skirt is configured to provide a conductive path to discharge an electrostatic charge accumulated on the metal chassis.

HEAD FOR BRUSH CUTTERS

A head 1 for a brush cutter of the type comprising a support element 3, connectable to a drive shaft of a brush cutter so as to be set in rotation about a vertical rotation axis Y-Y, a plurality of pins 9, connected to the support element 3, couplable to a plurality of cutting elements 2, so that every cutting element 2 is free to rotate about the respective pin 9 defining a cutting generatrix S. Said plurality of cutting elements 2 being arranged in such a way as to provide the respective cutting generatrices S tangent, in the part distal to the vertical rotation axis Y-Y, to an overall cutting diameter B, defining the overall cutting surface of the head, and tangent, in the part proximal to the vertical rotation axis Y-Y, to a fictitious circumference A, defining a central portion of the support element 3 not reached by the plurality of cutting elements 2. The A/B ratio being comprised between 0.06 and 0.3.

A brake control unit configured to control a brake to a braked state in response to a brake position sensor having detected that a steering lever has been operated to a stop position and to a released state in response to the brake position sensor having detected that the steering lever has been operated from the stop position toward a travel operation pathway and a travel position sensor having detected that the steering lever is at a neutral position, at which the steering lever is placeable to stop travel.

BATTERY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRIC MOWER
20230210051 · 2023-07-06 ·

A battery management system for a lawnmower that can include a first switch configured to issue a wake-up signal in response to a wake-up input, issue a battery status request signal in response to a battery status input, and issue a shut-down signal in response to a shut-down input. A first controller can be configured to, switch the second switch to an ON state to electrically connect the battery to the electrically powered device when the first controller receives the wake-up signal, cause the display to display information indicative of a status of the battery when the first controller receives the battery status request signal, and switch the second switch to an OFF state to terminate output from the battery to the electrically powered device when the first controller receives the shut-down signal.

Lift detection arrangement in a robotic lawnmower

A lift detection arrangement in a robotic lawnmower for detecting a lift of a body of the robotic lawnmower relative to a chassis of the robotic lawnmower. The lift detection arrangement includes a collision absorber; and a sensor arrangement including a spring, a movable part, a metal plate and a sensor. The collision absorber is screwed to two plastic parts and arranged to allow a displacement of the body relative to the chassis in a collision plane during a collision between an obstacle and the robotic lawnmower, but not in a vertical direction. The moveable part is arranged to provide a displacement of the body relative to the chassis in a lift direction during a lift of the body. The sensor is configured to sense the distance to the metal plate that is fixed to the moveable part and to trigger a cut off of power to a cutting blade of the robotic lawnmower if the distance becomes greater than a predetermined distance.

OUTDOOR POWER EQUIPMENT WITH CONVERTER SEATED AND STANDING OPERATOR POSITIONS

An outdoor power equipment having sitting configuration and standing configuration is presented herein. The outdoor power equipment can be transformed from the sitting configuration to the standing configuration and vice versa, allowing an operator to use the outdoor power equipment in either a sitting position or standing position. The sitting position can place the operator at least in part forward of a drive axis of the outdoor power equipment, whereas the standing position can place the operator at least in part coincident with or behind the drive axis. The outdoor power equipment can be electric powered in some aspects, with modular and replaceable battery packs.
