Round baler with movable follower rolls

A bale chamber of an agricultural round baler. The bale chamber includes a main frame, a plurality of rollers, and at least one belt engaging with at least one roller of the plurality of rollers. The at least one belt and the plurality of rollers are together configured for creating a round circulating chamber. The bale chamber also includes a subframe movably connected to the main frame and at least one follower roller pivotally connected to the subframe at a first pivot axis. The at least one follower roller engages with the at least one belt. The subframe is configured for moving during formation of the bale so that the at least one follower roller moves in between a first position at the empty bale position of the circulating chamber and a second position at the full bale position of the circulating chamber.

The rotated driving member drives at least one part of the bale forming device. The bale forming device forms a bale in the provided bale forming chamber. At least one time the rotatable driving member is rotated with respect to the shaft. The free-wheel clutch enables this rotation of the rotatable driving member.

BALING SYSTEM

A baling system may convey forage with at least one conveyance system through an uninterrupted gap extending from the at least one conveyance system to a vertical screed belt such that the forage is conveyed from an accumulation chamber into a baling chamber. The baling system may further or alternatively convey a mat of the forage having a first width to a rotary feeder having a second width less than the first width. Sides of the mat may be inwardly conveyed to the rotary feeder, wherein the rotary feeder lifts the forage into the baling chamber.

The carriage is configured to support the crop package when the carriage is in the first position. The carriage is also configured to discharge the crop package from the accumulator when the carriage is in the second position. The accumulator also includes an over-center linkage system coupled between the accumulator frame and the carriage. The over-center linkage system is configured to lock the carriage in the first position.
