Plant Training System
A plant training system for use with a pot that is arranged to hold a plant includes a plurality of bases that are adapted to be coupled to the pot, wherein each base is adapted to carry a stake or pole, and wherein the angle of the stake or pole relative to the pot is adjustable. There is a mechanical system for holding each base on the pot.
Plant support frame and method and kit for making same
A bracing member for a plant support frame. In embodiments the bracing member comprises a body portion defining a perimeter; an opening provided within the body portion which is sized and dimensioned to receive a plant there through; and a plurality of radically oriented circumferential holes extending through the body portion. The holes being sized to accept a cooperating fastener for securing a support rod to the bracing member for forming the plant support frame. The different bracing members of a plant support frame are dimensioned for storage in a flat concentric arrangement whereby the circumferential holes of an inner bracing member align with the circumferential holes of an outer bracing member for receiving a locking pin there through for securing different bracing members together.
PLANT STAKE AND DISPLAY TAG HOLDER
A plant stake and display tag holder for use with a nursery container such as a pot or free-standing planter. The display tag is attached to the container and is accessible and visible to the consumer without obstruction from the container or plant contained therein. The bottom of the plant stake inserts into a slit in the rim portion of a nursery container and locks into place to hold the plant stake upright and securely in place. The display tag is held above the soil line and avoids the common problems associated with display tag holders inserted below the soil line.
INDETERMINATE PLANT SUPPORT STRUCTURE
An indeterminate plant support structure comprising a plant support structure base, vertical supports, angular supports and connectors, wherein vertical supports and angular supports are coupled by a connector to form a helical shape on multiple stages. Using a telescopic pole, thread feeder and thread, an indeterminate plant is grown vertically. When the plant reaches maximum height of the telescopic pole, then the plant stem is placed above the angular supports to form a helical shape by which the height of the plant is converted into circumference of a helical shape and load on the indeterminate plant and fruit is distributed to indeterminate plant support structure.
PLANTER FOR INDETERMINATE PLANT WITH SUPPORT
A planter for indeterminate plant with support comprising a planter with multiple clamp holders on helical shape and clamps, wherein the clamps are inserted into the clamp holders on the planter to form helical shape on which the plant stem is placed and filled with growing medium for new root formation from plant stem. The height of the plant is converted into the circumference of a helical shape on multiple stages as the plant grows. Using a telescopic pole, thread feeder and thread, an indeterminate plant is grown vertically.
Planter Saucer with Support for Stakes
A saucer for a planter includes a flat upper saucer surface configured to receive a planter. The planter has a bottom planter surface with at least one drain hole. The saucer also includes at least one support rigidly attached to the upper saucer surface at a location corresponding to the at least one drain hole when the planter is placed on the saucer. An outer diameter of the support is smaller than an inner diameter of the drain hole. A hole in an upper surface of the support has a size configured to snugly fit a lower end of a shaft of a stake. A depth of the hole within the support is sufficient to keep the stake inserted therein erect upon loading of the stake with a weight of a plant disposed in the planter.
GARDEN PLANT SUPPORT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
A plant stand configured to be placed within a plant container is provided, the plant stand includes: a base having a top surface and a bottom surface opposite the top surface, the top surface having a plurality of apertures extending at least partially into the base, the apertures having a shape and dimensions; one or more poles having an end, the end of the one or more poles shaped and dimensioned to be removably coupled to the base via the apertures such that the one or more poles extends from the top surface of the base essentially vertically; and a plurality of supports extending outward from the bottom surface of the base and having a height sufficient to create a clearance between a surface within the plant container on which the base is placed and the bottom surface of the base.
PLANT GROWTH SUPPORT
The present document describes a plant growth support, comprising: a stake having an elongated body with a longitudinal axis and having a first end being removably fixable to the ground, a second end having a connecting member being sized and shaped for receiving a rod in said longitudinal axis and at least one connecting member projecting at an angle from the longitudinal axis for receiving a rod, and an anti-tipping member radially extending from the elongated body and being located between the first and second ends for preventing tipping of the stake in the ground; and at least one vertical rod received in one of the connecting members, the vertical rod is adapted to receive at least one of a plant part, a horizontal rod, a trellis, slanted fingers, and an irrigation system part.
Plant growth system
A system and related method for monitoring plant growth conditions is provided, comprising a plurality of detectors (7) and central detector data processing means (1103); each detector (7) being arranged to measure properties indicative of a temperature, a water content, and a nutrient content, of a plant growth substrate; each detector (7) being further arranged to transmit the measured property or properties over a communications link to the central detector data processing means (1103); the central detector data processing means (1103) being arranged to store predefined irrigation data, defining a relationship between plural values for temperature, water content, pH level and/or nutrient content of the plant growth substrate; and plural desired irrigation output values; process the measured properties from each detector (7) to determine calculated properties of the substrate; and provide an output indicative of a desired irrigation input for the growth substrate, based upon measured properties received from the detectors (7) and the predefined irrigation data. A portable detector communications device (1105) for communicating configuration data relating to the detectors (7) may be included in the system.
Support clip for potted plant support stakes
A support clip for a potting container for plants and seedlings that is attachable to the side of the potting container. The support clip has attached thereto a receptacle for the placement therein of support stakes for a plant or seedling in the container. The receptacle remains on the outside of the potting container, thereby preserving space inside of the potting container for soil and amendments for the plant or seedling. The support clip and receptacle are connected by an angle adjustment knob that allows for the angle at which support stakes placed in the receptacle can be placed relative to the plant or seedling planted therein such that the support stakes are appropriate for the growth stage of the plant or seedling.
