Polytunnel structure with stepped support members for holding rotatable beam
11700799 · 2023-07-18 · ·

A polytunnel structure is described having a plurality of cover support members supported upon respective pairs of legs, a cover member supported by the cover support members, an edge of the cover member being secured to a rotatable beam, and an anchor rope, strap or the like extending over the cover member to anchor the cover member in position, wherein the cover support members are each shaped to define a step between a first section and a second section, wherein when the rotatable beam is supported upon the second section, the anchor rope, strap or the like provides a reduced resistance to movement thereof.

OPENABLE VINYL FIXING DEVICE AND VINYL GREENHOUSE INCLUDING SAME

The present invention relates to an openable vinyl fixing device and a vinyl greenhouse. The openable vinyl fixing device enables easy opening and closing of an openable window formed on a roof. In contrast with the conventional fixed idea that when a vinyl opening operator (opener) is positioned at the lowermost end of vinyl, a vinyl supporting pipe does not completely unwind vinyl of a vinyl window, but slightly winds the vinyl, and the vinyl supporting pipe is positioned at the outer portion of the vinyl window, the present invention enables the vinyl to be completely unwound by rotating the vinyl supporting pipe a little bit more when closing the vinyl window, wherein the vinyl supporting pipe is positioned between an arc frame and the vinyl of the vinyl window to thereby form a space, and the vinyl supporting pipe is fixed in the space by means of the openable vinyl fixing device.

METHOD OF APPLYING A FOIL ON AN INCLINED ROOF STRUCTURE

A method of applying a foil on an inclined roof structure having a ridge beam, a gutter, a plurality of parallel roof bars interconnecting the beam and the gutter and a ventilation opening frame which surrounds an opening that is located between the beam, the gutter and two neighboring bars, comprises: supplying a window frame that fits inside the ventilation opening frame, introducing the window frame within and holding the window frame at a fixed position with respect to the ventilation opening frame, laying a foil onto the roof structure such that it extends at least from the beam to the gutter and covers at least the neighboring roof bars, fixing the foil to the window frame and the ventilation opening frame along respective circumferential edges thereof, cutting the foil between the window frame and the ventilation opening frame, hence forming the window frame including the foil.

The present invention can provide an optimum sensory temperature and can increase productivity by a system having a variable fan provided in a vinyl greenhouse, receiving optimum temperature (A) and humidity (B), detecting internal temperature (A′) and humidity (B′), calculating temperature (A″) according to the humidity, and providing the temperature (A″) suitable for the humidity (B′) detected through an operational control of the variable fan.

Greenhouse

A greenhouse has a roof including a plurality of substantially parallel crossbeams, at least two longitudinal sections which are mounted to the crossbeams and extend at a distance from each other in transverse direction of the crossbeams, a transparent foil which is mounted to the longitudinal sections at respective foil attachment locations thereof so as to form a cover between the longitudinal sections. The roof also includes a displacement mechanism for displacing one of the longitudinal sections with respect to the other between a non-foil-stretching position and a foil-stretching position. The distance between the respective foil attachment locations is larger in the foil-stretching position than in the non-foil-stretching position. The displacement mechanism can be operated and is lockable at an upper side of the roof.

Automatic evapotranspiration mitigation

An evapotranspiration mitigation method, system, and computer program product include checking a condition via a first sensor connected to an outside of a device to compute an evapotranspiration level and activating a roof opening of the device to deploy a roof from the device if the evapotranspiration level is greater than a pre-determined threshold.

Rotating arm to cover greenhouses and method of use

This invention is directed toward a rotating arm that can quickly and easily cover and uncover a greenhouse. The invention comprises a base unit to which is attached a rotating arm. The base unit is secured into cement and the rotating arm unit is attached at its end to a tarp. As a worker rotates the arm, the greenhouse tarp is quickly moved in the direction or rotation. A greenhouse with one of these inventions at either end can be covered and uncovered by a single person in a matter of seconds and removes the need for the motors and complicated apparatus associated with the prior art.
