The tinsel is angled out of the jig to clear a soft bait secured to the hook, allowing the tinsel to move in a desired fashion as the jig head moves through water. Body material is kept within a specific temperature range to ensure that the tinsel does not melt as the jig body is molded. A paint layer and adhesive layer are further applied to increase durability of the tinsel at the point in which it is secured to the jig body.
