Wing attachment for bait fish lures
A method of attaching an artificial wing assembly to be used with a bait fish and/or lures to resemble flying fish bait. A pair of contoured natural looking synthetic wings are attached to a bait fish or lure by a skewer impaled through a portion of the bait or lure. A bait attachment saddle extends between the wings, each wing having a guide and access sleeve for positionally guiding and placement of the attachment skewer there through.
HYDROFOIL FISHING LURE APPARATUS
Hydrofoil fishing lure apparatus for use with trolling techniques behind a boat. In one embodiment, the hydrofoil fishing lure apparatus includes an artificial lure having a body. A hydrofoil that includes a strut and a lifting surface, with the strut for the hydrofoil being attached to the body of the artificial lure is also included. In some variants, the artificial lure may be modeled after flying fish species. Wing retraction elements may be utilized on the hydrofoil to retract or expand the wings of the flying fish to provide for a more natural presentation. Other variants described herein include fishing lure platforms that include a hydrofoil that allow for the mounting of frozen, live, or other types of artificial baits on the hydrofoil itself.
REALISTIC FLYING FISH LURE
A realistic flying fish lure comprising a body portion and one or more detachable wings. The one or more wings are configured to be removeably engaged with the body portion, and when the one or more wings are attached to the body portion, the realistic flying fish lure is configured to resemble a California Flying Fish that is gliding above water.

FISHING LURES CONFIGURED TO JUMP AND FLY
Fishing lures including a front body, a middle body, an aft body, a first wing, and a second wing. The front body has an aerodynamic and hydrodynamic profile and is positively buoyant in water. The front body extends along a longitudinal axis from a first end to a second end and extends along a lateral axis from a first lateral side to a second lateral side. The middle body extends along the longitudinal axis from a third end proximate the second end to a fourth end. The aft body is coupled to the middle body proximate the fourth end and defines a hook opening. The hook opening receives a hook projecting beyond an outer surface of the aft body. The first wing and the second wing are coupled to the front body and disposed on the first lateral side and the second lateral side, respectively.

FLYING FISH LURE
A flying fish lure for fishing, the lure having a body and at least two flat elongate appendages, shaped as flying-fish wings, attached to the body to approximate the appearance of a flying fish, wherein the body and the appendages are constructed so that the lure floats. The appendages may be separately manually removeable. The lure may be shaped to allow a realistic gliding or flying motion when towed or otherwise pulled. The shape and profile of the body and appendages, particularly where in contact with the water, has been adapted to improve the realistic nature of the movement of the lure through water.
